23/08/2025: The coffee at Lagkagehuset in Solrød is really delicious, and the atmosphere is both cozy and relaxed. A really nice place to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

08/08/2025: It took them 20 min to make BMO and a black coffee with 3 clerks and 3 people in line. Confused teenagers with no management.

25/11/2025: I had an absolutely wonderful time at this sushi place. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed yet refined — perfect for a nice dinner out. The sushi was incredibly fresh: each piece was beautifully presented, with a great balance of flavors and texture. I especially loved the nigiri — melt-in-your-mouth salmon and perfectly seasoned rice. The service was very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely return — highly recommended!”

11/03/2026: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I was out to eat with my colleagues, and it was a pretty bad experience. There were 3-4 other parties present when we arrived, but it still took half an hour for the waiter to come and take our orders. She had a super bad attitude when she took our orders. My colleague told me what she wanted, and was very aggressively told that she should say the number of the dish, and not the name, it's too bad that a waiter can't take the name of a dish, especially because she didn't look like someone who was new in any way. Then we were told what drinks my colleague wanted, and then she said with a bad attitude that we should wait with the drinks. My other colleague then told me what he wanted, and also got the message that he wanted a fake wine, she then wrote it down, and then turned to the first one and asked what she wanted to drink, now that we had drinks anyway… We then got our drinks, which were practically thrown out on the table, and then waited again for almost half an hour for the main course. Some got tiger prawns, which were boringly prepared.. The butter for the bread we got on the side was rock hard, so they could have just thrown it out of the fridge a little before serving it.. We had to wait a long time again for the main course, where several people got steak, one of the steaks was well done. The potatoes were boring, their spare ribs were dry and tasted almost nothing, and when we asked for remoulade for the fries, she had to think about it, and didn't really seem happy that we asked.. We got dessert, and one of my colleagues found a piece of plastic in her ice cream, which she luckily got on the house... We then had to pay, and we each paid separately, she couldn't figure it out, she wrote down a camembert dessert instead of a gimbergen for one of us, and when everyone had paid, there was still a grimbergen to be paid for, we got that corrected, but there was also still a Tuborg classic, and everyone who had had one had paid, so she had put an extra beer on the table. All in all, it was a bad experience, bad service, she didn't say "welcome" or "thank you for tonight", and the food was not worth the price at all. Stay away!!

10/02/2026: Really nice place with nice and friendly staff. Delicious with a lot of love and visually nicely presented and it tastes fantastic.

05/02/2026: Super delicious sushi and they are very attentive to what the customers want. The service is nice and reasonably fast. The atmosphere and decor is nice if you sit in the first part of the restaurant, but if you end up in the back room, it feels like sitting in an empty storeroom, cold, sad and without atmosphere. So ask for a table in the first room by the kitchen and the entrance.

31/12/2025: Ordered pizza to take home just before Christmas. The credit card terminal wasn't working, and apparently hadn't been working all day, so it was cash. After taking the money, he went straight to making the pizza. Asked if he didn't want to wash his hands, to which the answer was - you don't do that at home. We got our money back. This isn't the first time hygiene has been lacking. So think twice if you don't want to take home more than you paid for.

14/10/2025: Monday 13.10.2025.. Ordered Greek steak with fries and pepper sauce. It was not Greek steak, tasted like an ordinary steak. Steak, no spices in it and it was red, it was not pepper sauce in my opinion. Red and tasted of pure cream and the fries were far too soft Sour and irritated staff today. The sweet one was not there. They spoke sourly and down to someone and they thought I should say the steak should be well done. As staff, they can ask if it should be medium or well done. 😌😌 Saturday 29. 3. Super service from the staff, polite, fun, fresh, super good food ... they taught my son how to assemble a pizza tray ... can only be recommended and we will be back. 🥰🤗 Christina Dahlgaard.

18/12/2025: Clearly my worst food experience in 2025! Everything on the brunch plate for 159 kr. Was dry, old and backed up a few days before! Unbelievable that you as kitchen staff can ruin a brunch. The scrambled eggs were made the day before and heated in a pan so that it had crusted. Bacon soft and fried several days before. Dry day-old bread. Asked for something new and got defrosted bread from the microwave. Kitchen staff comes shuffling through the cafe with headphones in their ears and doesn't look like they want to be there. Staff just stand there looking and look like they don't want to be there either! However, the coffee and tea were good. All in all, not worth the money and the visit.

13/11/2025: A very cozy place with friendly staff. I ordered coffee and a chocolate cake, and both the coffee and the cake were delicious. I would come again.

28/11/2025: Old and not up to standard at all, very poor breakfast and extremely poor service, where the employees speak poor English, with Eastern European flair, the dishes are quickly emptied at this artisan hotel, which is mainly filled with people in dirty work clothes. It takes a much longer time than usual, after several requests, before it is refilled. There are two coffee machines with different products, however they do not work, or are emptied..! Their ginger shots are too old...! There are very few TV channels, there is no wallpaper on the walls, however, they are just painted over where it is missing, the beds are low and the furniture very old and fragile..! Very cheap and bad hairdryer, poor selection of soap, no conditioner., inappropriate lighting in the room..! people stand and smoke right outside the entrance, which makes the smoke seep in...!

09/11/2025: A worn out hotel from the past. Details like a TV hanging crookedly, a lamp that doesn't work, lack of ventilation and charging electric cars at exorbitant prices show that the hotel is past its glory days. There is little positive to highlight for the hotel itself and the services. All in all, the absolute minimum of what one can expect. Breakfast and service are probably the only things that can be highlighted as above the minimum expected. After sleeping in well over 100 hotels in all price ranges, I would recommend looking for other options if you want something other than a bed to sleep in for the night.

21/02/2026: Was there for their Chinese New Year event so it was of course full of people, which also meant that everything was missing all the time, but they were quick to fill up, the guests were just quicker to empty. The staff were of course super stressed and they should have had 4 more, waited 20 minutes for drinks. The food is what you would expect from a better Chinese buffet, most of it comes in the wishing well, their Chinese dishes had a nice taste, but very mild. Feels a bit like there was a lack of green selection for their Mongolian bbq. There was also supposed to be a raffle you could participate in, we weren't allowed to, I don't know why but disappointing. This doesn't affect my overall rating.

14/02/2026: Unfortunately the kitchen had forgotten to announce our pasta was ready so it was only lukewarm when it arrived on the table. There weren't many guests so even though we got free tea as a discount it wasn't super fancy.
