04/09/2025: (We will be waiting for August 21st) Nogle gange siger vi, at skandinaver er seriøse eller kolde, men interested undskylder den behandling, jeg fik på denne restaurant. Efter at have spist der, ja. The food was okay. Except we were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitresses didn't pay any attention, nor did they ask if we were okay or if we wanted anything. At one point, the only thing the waitress did was, allegedly, come and pick up the parasols that were on the terrace., then he had the brilliant idea of ​​putting it right next to our table. “Great” idea Because they fell right on our heads and were a millimeter away from exploding our glasses full of drinks in front of us and turning our vacation into a nightmare. The most scandalous thing was that there was no response, no commercial gesture, no concern, not even an apology! I come from a country (France) where this would never have been allowed. Besides, I think the two blondes who were serving me on that date, they are not at all interested in the customer, I hope they find a job that can be passionate about them. 30/08/2025: Stopped here for beer and a cocktail, the food looks terrific, but the location is fantastic. Wonderful server, and their cocktails were dope.

08/11/2025: It was our first visit to Uncle A today – a completely random stop, driven by a voracious appetite – and it turned out to be a complete experience. The tasty, highly plated finger food was a real treat for both the eyes and the palate, and every bite was marked by care and quality. The service also deserves high praise; the staff were welcoming, genuinely friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Added to this is the cozy and inviting decor, which creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, where you want to stay a little longer. We are already looking forward to our next visit – thank you so much for a wonderful lunch experience!

06/01/2026: Went there on Christmas Day 2025. Awesome Jam session was going on. Musicians and singers (who all seemed to know each other) were swapping off. All very talented. Were playing great cover tunes. There was dancing. If you like seeing cover bands in a bar in US or Canada, this is the vibe. It was a tonne of fun. Drink prices are on par with anywhere else in Copenhagen.

14/12/2025: There is room for both music and the audience while maintaining intimacy, as the place is not very large, but still larger than other small venues in Copenhagen. They have Happy Hour twice, from 3-5pm and 8-9pm. With the expensive beer prices that Copenhagen is probably world famous for, it is worth going for. Their nachos with cheese are a fairly small portion where you literally have to look for the cheese. The best places to sit are in the corner at the back left of the bar or just inside the entrance door on the left. In both places you will not be disturbed by the crowd of guests in the bar and can sit on cushions. The music is turned up very high, so use earplugs if your ears are not used to loud noises. Unfortunately, the sound adjustment was out of balance, so the singers are not at the forefront of the soundscape, as quite a few songs require. Another consequence of the sound level being turned up to the max. The audience is everyone and some locals it seemed, but it probably depends on the music.

29/12/2025: A fantastic place to stop for lunch, in a timeless setting on a small square with a charming church. The restaurant is admittedly quite intimate, but its unique style blends traditions with a very dated yet charming architectural style. It's a place steeped in history, served by young, friendly staff, offering good quality Chinese food and an exciting atmosphere. It's also an excellent place to warm up on a cold day. You pass through an old door and down a narrow corridor, finding yourself in a world that, personally, reminded me of Harry Potter. The prices are reasonable, and you can order several portions or a single dish. The service is very quick, and while the atmosphere is very pleasant, be aware of the noises that make it feel like a children's school cafeteria: the clattering of cutlery, conversations, and the whirring of the stoves. Ultimately, these sounds contribute to the unique style and ambiance of the place. Don't miss it!

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful lunch on the sunny terrace. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was perfect!

09/03/2026: Very disappointing and concerning experience. My friend and I walked in and asked for a table. The staff member responded dismissively and told us to sit wherever we wanted. We sat down and waited about 15 minutes, but no one came to take our order even though the place was small and staff could clearly see us. We then went to the counter to order, assuming that might be how it worked. The staff ignored us completely and avoided eye contact while continuing to serve other customers. After standing there for several minutes with no acknowledgment, we decided to leave. The moment we grabbed our jackets to go, a staff member immediately came back and started serving someone else. It was very obvious we were being deliberately ignored, and as a person of colour, it’s hard not to question whether racism played a role in the way we were treated.

10/02/2026: The bartender acted very rudely. I'm not sure if it was because of my skin color or Danish accent. I asked him to recommend a beer from their bar, and he replied, "It's not my job to recommend beers," with a poker face.
