24/11/2025: We went to the plant bank. And we came a long way and we couldn't have been more satisfied. It's nice that we didn't have to sit alone but together with new acquaintances. And of course it also helps when you win some beautiful plants that have now come home 😁

17/10/2025: Super nice place. Really cozy, lots of nice plants and sweet helpful employees ✌️ Drank coffee and looked at plants, will definitely come back next time I'm in Aarhus 🤩

09/10/2025: The black bread is truly amazing. You rarely find something like it, even in Germany. The cinnamon rolls are also highly recommended. When they're served warm, they're heavenly.

29/12/2025: We had Sunday Roast with 3 servings of meat which was of very warming quality. Oh my! The side dishes were absolutely fine. Our waiter was incredibly unengaged, spoke so softly that she was a shadow of herself and almost impossible to get in touch with. After previous visits we had really looked forward to Sunday Roast with meat ad libitum, but oh my they couldn't live up to that.

21/12/2025: Food was a bit overrated, meat was ok but you can taste almost the same anywhere. Our meal was forgotten by the kitchen so we had to wait for almost 55 minutes for dinner after the starters. Nothing special about the atmosphere and the dinner.

20/09/2025: Stig and Greg have created a little piece of heaven on earth. They served one of the best green teas I've ever had (go for the floral version). Cake and coffee were also fantastic. There are no words I can think of to describe the unique atmosphere in this Orangerie, you need to see and experience for yourselves! PS:Tipsene til Køpenhavn - mange tak for det! Vi ses!

04/08/2025: I have been there five times now, all times equally lovely. Stig and Greg are simply so friendly and welcoming, and the food is really good. I can definitely recommend their afternoon tea. In addition, the surroundings are very beautiful. The Paradehuset is really beautiful and nice with a wonderfully calming atmosphere. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

19/10/2025: We are greeted by a waiter at the entrance, we get a nice welcome and the waiter is professional and well-dressed even calm. We are shown to our table, we sit down. We choose a 3-course menu each. I don't have many words to say about the food, it was consistently exceptional. The food tasted fantastic, the composition was thought out and the ingredients were local and good. Late in the evening the entire restaurant was full, so it was challenging to be so many people in the same place. There should be some form of ventilation, as the air was heavy even though the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The music was muted and comfortable, the room was heated, the decoration in the room is characterized by pearl plates, empty bottles, pictures and a lot of other things. Instead, the decoration should illuminate the river, Sæby and cultural history. Fresh flowers would like to make a difference, I wonder why there were no flowers in the restaurant, when the food they serve is at a high level of chef skills. Served on the table as an extra service: 2 baskets of: Sourdough bread with old-fashioned kernel butter from Aabybro Dairy. Starters: 2 pcs: Haddock with soy, kimchi, carrot and pumpkin. 1 pc: Mushrooms in hollandaise sauce, sprinkled with yeast. Main courses: 1 pc: Slow-cooked veal. 1 pc: Red deer fillet. Dessert: 1 pc: Beer bread with ice cream and meringue. Drinks: 2 pcs: Pepsi Max bottle. 1 pc: non-alcoholic beer. 1 pc: jug of water. We'll be back.

10/08/2025: Ordered a kebab box, they took their time making it, and when I finally got it, it was the most dry and boring round of slatten kebab with fries and 4 cl dressing I have ever been served. They say they are Aalborg's best kebab, I would say it is the world's worst kebab. Would give 0 stars.

28/10/2025: Fantastic! We stopped spontaneously because we saw the food stand as we drove by… it was the best decision of the day! Huge portions that are almost impossible to finish, but the food is still delicious!
