22/02/2025: Our first visit to Doctor Herman in Fredericia. It was a bit difficult to find the door, as the place also functions as a coffee shop during the day, but we managed! Cozy atmosphere and a friendly welcome at the entrance. We were the first guests – apparently it's a place people mainly visit after 10pm. 22 – but we took the chance as the only ones. The interior is relaxed, but could easily take a few octaves up or get a little update if the ambition is to be more than a provincial wine and cocktail bar. The music was a good mix, the staff young and committed with a clear passion for the place - the entrepreneurial dream is blooming with them. The wine list was clear. We chose two glasses of French Viognier, which was served well-tempered and with a bit of knowledge from the staff. Beautiful wine with apricot notes. After that, we ordered a tapas board and a couple of warm dishes. A surprisingly fine selection, where everything was well-tempered and offered many good elements: two types of cheese, stuffed peppers, three types of charcuterie, pestos, pickled onions and warm bread with a good crust. The hearty dishes consisted of asparagus with air-dried ham and sumptuous bruschettas – really delicious food. The service was attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. However, the salted butter could have been replaced with a good olive oil, which would have complimented the antipasti-inspired tapas board better. A selection of olives – preferably with calamari olives for their aromatic and salty flavor – would also have been a welcome addition. All in all a lovely experience. We will come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/07/2025: Really delicious place on all parameters, if you are looking for a taste experience. Really pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Nice quiet surroundings (also at the tables on the square), and a chef who must have a bag of magic in his kitchen cupboard. Pictures from today's "theater menu". Can definitely be recommended.

23/07/2025: A really nice place for lunch, with a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the veggie burger is highly recommended. The Caesar salad and burgers are excellent. So are the fries. And they're very dog-friendly here!

15/07/2025: Det var rigtig lækker mad. Vi kom til frokost, hvor vi fik lidt af hvert, og det hele var rigtig godt lavet. Stemningen og atmosfæren var god. Det er klart en anbefaling værdig.

28/07/2025: We drive all the way from Taastrup with a 4 month old baby, just to get their kebab. Really welcoming staff and incredibly sweet, reasonable prices as well. You deserve all the best, hope you open in Vestegnen one day 😀

22/07/2025: One of the best Burger King restaurants I've been to. The food is always fresh, hot and feels like they actually care about what they are serving. Which is a big change from a lot of other places.

11/08/2025: This was our second time there. The food is delicious, but the prices are outrageous. I got two small slices of bread and two very small meatballs and a nasty side dish for €10. My son's build-your-own burger had a kind of meatball that was too small for the bun. Another burger I ordered was okay, but for over €20, the side of fries was a real joke. The "Shooting Star" we ordered for over €20 is a fish sandwich with sauce. The staff, however, are very friendly and speak German and English.

07/08/2025: The food was boring and did not meet expectations. We had a bagel with salmon, where the bagel itself was dry and falling apart. The salad was brown and the salmon was very oily. The service was really good, however.

29/05/2025: Knuds Garage is hands down one of the coziest and most inviting places I’ve ever been to. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. What makes it really special—besides the great beer—is Ulf, the owner. Ulf is without a doubt the sweetest and most genuine guy you'll meet. He has an incredible passion for beer and knows everything there is to know about it. You can tell immediately that he puts his heart into the place. He’s always ready to recommend something that suits your taste, and he does it with a smile every single time. The atmosphere at Knuds Garage is warm, relaxed, and full of personality. It feels like a home away from home—somewhere you can unwind, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a really good beer in peace. The interior has a charming, almost nostalgic feel to it, and there’s just something comforting about being there. The beer selection is excellent. There’s always a solid variety of both local and international options, carefully chosen and well-kept. You can tell that every beer on the menu has been selected with care and knowledge. In short: Knuds Garage is not just a bar—it’s an experience. And Ulf? He’s the kind of owner every bar dreams of having. If you’re into good vibes, great beer, and outstanding service, this is your place. Highly recommended. 🍻

20/06/2025: We came at 13h o'clock and ordered 2 pizza's. A pizza was cold and dryed out. I asked if they could heat it up a little bit because it's already cold. "No we can't, that's normal". The other pizza was slightly better but still not warm enough to serve to people. We don't expect high class cuisine but a pizza that is warm and fresh is just the standard.
