07/10/2025: Stayed here with colleagues a couple weeks ago (late September - Weather was phenomenal). Property and rooms were immaculate. Dining menu was top notch with fantastic selections of fare and wine. Staff were friendly, courteous and on point. Location was fantastic for golf (less then a 100 m away to a great links course), beach approximately 700 m, and the dunes less then 10 min by car. Also only a short drive to historic Skagen (worth the trip). As someone who travels extensively I would highly recommend this property - be sure to ask for a tour of the property - if you are a car and motorcycle aficionado you will be very pleasantly surprised.

29/09/2025: We recently booked Hotel Hvide Kilt for a team meeting, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my every expectation. Located in a beautifully remote location beside an impressive links golf course, the hotel offered the perfect blend of outdoor activity and natural beauty — ideal for both work and relaxation. The clear weather during our stay made the experience even more special. Just a short 10-minute drive brought us to the west coast of the peninsula, was perfect for taking a break. The landscape is unique, unlike anywhere else I have been. A particularly memorable aspect was seeing the historic German WWII bunkers along the shore. Saturday evening was truly the highlight. We gathered in the hotel’s restaurant for a team dinner and were treated to an exceptional three-course meal, with amazing flavors and a nice selection of wines. The quality and creativity impressed the whole team - even the foody on the team. Afterward, I stepped outside for some are and was stunned by the visibility of the night sky. With no city lights to interfere, the stars felt closer than ever. Hotel Hvide Kilt offers both comfort and opportunieis for fun in equal measure. For a group or just exploring Denmark's natural and historical beauty, this place is highly recommended.

26/08/2025: It was the first and only time I got delivery from them on August 19, 2025, and it was definitely not a good experience. The fries were not done at all. They were bland, floury and unsalted. There was absolutely no flavor in the burger, and the bun was not warmed through. The food was bland and not fully cooked. That makes you feel bad. I didn't feel like eating it at all, so I threw more than half out😔. I contact the restaurant twice on their Facebook page/Messenger, as it was after closing time. Both times my messages are opened and ignored. It's just such poor service to just ignore the customer. I will never put my money there again.

31/08/2025: I don't think their food is very good because when they bring the food it has become cold and not very hot anymore.

15/04/2025: I ordered an iced latte and get one with sugar in it without asking. Being told that it is standard for their ice latte. Being offered that I can get a new one without sugar in it for a fee. Expensive money for a coffee that went straight into the bin. Never before ordered an ice latte where sugar is automatically poured in. Could you possibly inform about this when ordering.

01/09/2025: Shelter 214 provided a truly magical setting for our silver wedding anniversary. In collaboration with Landkøkkenet, they were able to arrange and run a party exactly as we wanted it, and all our guests were impressed by what could be done at such a special location. The very best recommendations from here.

10/09/2025: Somewhat ironically: The battery cage for RVers. Very nice, lots of space and nice bathrooms and common areas. But subjectively, a bit sterile. Otherwise, highly recommended!

15/09/2025: Yes, like so many guests, we can only agree with this recommendation, because everything here just fits together. We made a dinner reservation at 5:30 p.m. and were the only guests for half an hour—it just depends on the weather and the season. The food fully deserves its 5 stars. What did surprise us, however, was the fact that we paid 310 crowns for two Aperol Spritzes. When we looked at the bill, we discovered the reason. Our favorite drink was mixed with champagne. Unfortunately, we call that adulteration at the highest level, and it should be avoided because the flavor is completely lost with 30% ice cubes.

13/08/2025: Wonderful old school hotel and restaurant, with beautiful interior, straight out of a time long gone. The quality of the food was exquisite, the service staff a bit overwhelmed by the many customers outside while we were left alone inside. No big deal, the inside was the place to be here anyway and much nicer than the garden seating, at least in my opinion. Prices are … well, very danish … but we were quite happy with our experience.
