22/12/2025: First time here. We were greeted by a young man who told us that the concept was a little different with good food and lounge music. That's what we were told the concept is. What is it? I never really figured that out. Good food and lounge music, is that a concept?

21/12/2025: Restaurant tender. Steak House We had a 3 course menu. The food tasted good, it was a stark house experience. Not so much a gourmet experience over that The starter was grilled cauliflower with some sour counterpoint to it. 👍 The main course was a 300 gram ribeye steak. It was grilled perfectly👍 The red wine sauce is recommended and their fries were lovely and crispy 👍 The tenderness of the steak could have been more tender. But it's not always easy to have the same quality all the time. Maybe I was a little unlucky🤔 But you have to buy a side dish for your steak, so the price is somewhat higher when choosing a 3 course menu. A bit bad to use that trick on customers 👎 The dessert was a creme brulee which tasted super good. And beautifully presented 👍 Wine selection: They have very delicious wine within the expensive end👍 we bought wine for 550 from Rioja Reserva which tasted super good 👍 And avan for 670kr from ribera del duero it was a bit tame not exactly what I expected from that wine area 🤔 The waiters gave good service👍 it was a good experience. There was a good atmosphere and they enjoyed their work 👍 You sit really well in their chairs and the acoustics are top notch 👍 It was very clean and neat. Clearly they put a lot of effort into cleaning here 👍 Parking was at Brunsgalerie which was right next door. The price is on the expensive end. But the rent is expensive at this address and there were plenty of waiters to provide good service, so totally fair 👍

09/07/2026: We arrived with our bikes 10 min after closing time. The waitress was extremely friendly and regretted that the coffee machine was cleaned and out. She searched for another open Cafe in Ribe, which was very good. She basically saved our lives :-)

17/07/2026: Would definitely recommended if you want real authentic Italian pizza or pasta. Service here was amazing and kind. The overall atmosphere was a calm dinner thats worth sitting down for. Would definitely recommend their pizza it was delicious!

11/07/2026: WOW! We were greeted warmly by the owner of the restaurant, and made to feel at home with a complimentary glass of Prosecco! Pizza was exceptionally delicious, with beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection. Serving staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend! Gratias!

12/05/2026: A very nice restaurant with incredibly delicious food. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Whenever we're on holiday there, we eat there at least twice. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's a must-visit if you're vacationing in Hummingen. We'll be back soon!

From the very first moment, we felt right at home. Since Merethe and Bent don't have a traditional menu, but rather cook according to the chef's choice, we let them know in advance that my girlfriend has dietary restrictions. This restriction was immediately and completely accommodated – it couldn't have been more welcoming and uncomplicated. The food was consistently excellent. Ice cream and mini-muffins were served with the coffee – we've truly never eaten such delicious muffins. The fact that organic and regional ingredients are prioritized is evident in every bite. There's truly something for everyone here – very dog-friendly, and Merethe and Bent are certainly child-friendly as well. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, or dinner: everything is possible by arrangement, and even an overnight stay (even with a campervan) can be easily arranged. Reservations are absolutely necessary, which makes perfect sense given this personal concept. A heartfelt thank you to Merethe and Bent for their breathtaking, friendly hospitality. The value for money is simply unbeatable. 18/07/2026: We were at Maven for a nice evening in the city, and we had an unforgettable experience. The historic setting in Nikolaj Church gives a very special atmosphere. The food was well prepared and tasted delicious. The Vermentino wine we had went perfectly with all the dishes and the strawberry prosecco for dessert was surprisingly good. The service was first class, both warm and attentive. We will be back soon.

20/07/2026: The atmosphere is nice and the beer is delicious. However, be careful with the Gochujang style wings; they don't taste like seasoned fried chicken, but rather like they've been coated in real gochujang.
