24/10/2025: Worst café visit in a long time! We were there on the weekend and came in with a dog, as there was no notice online or on the door saying "dogs not allowed." The staff saw us, as well as the dog, so we ordered at the front of the counter with our dog. After completing our order and sitting down, employee number 1 suddenly approached us and rudely told us that dogs weren't allowed. Shortly afterward, the second employee, who had also seen the dog before, approached us. We weren't allowed in with the dog, but they didn't want to refund our money either. So they asked us to sit upstairs in the back corner... very uncomfortable and I didn't feel comfortable in the café at all. Also, the cake and coffee itself: Unfortunately, the cake was dry, and the coffee itself tasted awful. It had absolutely nothing to do with a cappuccino and tasted like a cheap cocoa and water mixture. We took two sips and left it because it was undrinkable. Almost 18€ for two pieces of cake and this coffee (?) was too much!

02/12/2025: I got here at 8:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and they told me the kitchen was closed. I guess upper management decided there weren't enough guests and they shut down the kitchen. I spent 35 minutes to walk here. So don't believe the hours!

30/11/2025: We visited Alexandre and had bought an Early Bird experience. The menu was Jerusalem artichoke soup with dried root vegetable chips, main course confit duck leg with red cabbage, French fries and sauce and for dessert delicious ice cream from Beier. The soup was very delicious, but a little on the heavy side as a starter for duck. The portion felt large. The main course was tasty, but the red cabbage a little on the salty side. The bread was not super delicious, but whipped butter was great. Personally, I didn't think the French fries fit the meal as it was all too greasy and heavy. My enjoyment of the meal would have been greatly increased if it had been possible to get potatoes with the dish instead. The red wine sauce was exquisite. We got a lovely portion of ice cream from Beier. The service was sincere and very friendly. We waited a bit long for the main course and we sat right under a speaker, which I didn't like. But in general the restaurant is very cozy!

23/07/2025: The ambiance is very pleasant with soft inviting lighting and music. The dishes had wonderful flavor, especially the tartar, spätzle, and the cannelloni. It was delicious. I will say that even the "larger" dishes recommended for a main, at 245/265 kr each, were way too small, it felt disappointing in size, and was the same size as the "appetizers." The fish looked like a tiny business card size serving, very small. The strawberry tarte tatin to finish the meal was excellent, and much larger than said fish en croute. 🤷🏼‍♀️

22/07/2025: I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

18/01/2026: A birthday with good food. And the food was really good. Not gourmet food, but deliciously tasty. In relation to what you got, the price is on the high end and for that reason alone, I will not go there again. Unfortunately, there were three guests who did not show up and five who left right after the main course, which was a shame, since the food had been paid for in advance. And now that the food had been paid for by the guests, I was somewhat surprised that I could not get an extra dessert, since there should have been eight portions left over. The staff told me that there was nothing they could do about it. When they were not there, I was not allowed to have that dessert. It is really bad style and another reason why I will not go there again. The tables are catastrophically bad, so it was not possible to hold a speech so that everyone could hear it. Also, you could not see anything but half of the party. Another reason not to hold events there again. So in short. If you like expensive food that does not quite live up to the price, please visit the place. But remember to make an appointment at the local ice cream parlor so you can drive home from the city completely full and satisfied.

08/01/2026: The New Year's menu was excellent and a great dining experience. Delivery was super well organized and we enjoyed the many dishes at home on Orø. If you will consider recycling the large use of plastic packaging, there are five stars next year 🙂

14/11/2025: I went out to eat here and the experience was really good. The food was delicious from start to finish, and I chose halal-slaughtered veal, which tasted surprisingly good. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was pleasant, so there is room for all kinds of guests. All in all, a really positive experience that I would happily recommend to others. 14/09/2025: The waiter spilled a tray with drinks over my back. One would expect some complimentary add-on or discount after such, but nothing at all, full price! Food was OK, but not reflecting the price or service level at all.
