07/08/2026: Very nice choice of danish "smørbrød" ,tasty and reasonable price, friendly service. Sitting area was clean and goos place, but was not 100% family friendly as there were no child chairs.

03/08/2026: We were looking for a place to try the famous Danish smørrebrød and ended up at Magasin du Nord, where we found Hallernes Smørrebrød. Excellent product, top quality. Wide selection for all tastes. Fair prices, consistent with Copenhagen standards. An excellent experience, highly recommended. Inside the department store, there are two stores: a small one on the basement level and a larger one, where we went, on the fifth floor.

The most scandalous thing was that there was no response, no commercial gesture, no concern, not even an apology! I come from a country (France) where this would never have been allowed. Besides, I think the two blondes who were serving me on that date, they are not at all interested in the customer, I hope they find a job that can be passionate about them. 30/08/2025: Stopped here for beer and a cocktail, the food looks terrific, but the location is fantastic. Wonderful server, and their cocktails were dope.

04/07/2026: Good food and reasonably priced. Located on a side road to the walking street. Healthy alternative to a burger joint.

14/09/2026: The pizza was absolutely delicious! Nice and thin, crispy crust, and generously topped. It looks very unassuming from the inside and outside, but the service was also very friendly :)

27/08/2026: Really cozy pizza place in the middle of Aalborg. Hyttens on Boulevarden 7 has a distinct Italian feel with a focus on pizzas baked in a stone oven over a live fire and good Italian ingredients. The menu offers both classic Italian pizzas and more creative variants, so there is something for most people. It is an obvious place for a quick lunch, a cozy dinner or take-away if you want to enjoy pizza at home. The location in the city center makes it easy to stop by, and it is open every day of the week from 11:00 to 21:00. Can be recommended to anyone looking for Italian pizza with a crispy base, good ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere in Aalborg.

29/08/2026: I don’t usually write reviews about the places where we eat, but in this case I felt I should because, unfortunately, our experience was far below what we expected. There were two of us, and we chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. We were particularly disappointed with the first courses. The cured ham with tomatoes was fine, nothing more, but being served raw radishes and carrots as one of the courses was honestly difficult for us to understand at a restaurant of this level and, especially, in this price range. We found it far too simple and lacking in preparation. The ravioli were good, and the chicken was undoubtedly the dish we enjoyed the most. However, we were very surprised that the French fries served with it appeared to be frozen, pre-packaged fries. At a restaurant of this standard and price point, we expected freshly prepared potatoes and a level of execution consistent with the experience the restaurant aims to offer. It may seem like a small detail, but within a menu at this price, we found it difficult to justify. As for the desserts, we are both people who absolutely love sweets, and it is extremely rare for either of us to leave a dessert unfinished. Yet this time, we both left our desserts because we simply did not enjoy them. We also did not feel that the wine pairing worked particularly well with the dishes. The only pairing that we felt was truly successful was the one served with dessert. I do want to point out that the service from our waiter was good, and we have no criticism whatsoever in that regard. Overall, considering the high price of the menu and the expectations created by a restaurant of this kind, we felt that the food simply did not live up to the standard we expected. It was not a matter of portion size, but rather the quality, preparation, and level of ingredients one expects when paying for an experience like this. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this is not a restaurant we would recommend.

21/08/2026: Silo is undoubtedly one of Copenhagen's best restaurants, boasting excellent views and very good food and service. It's expensive, so reservations are essential.

09/08/2026: Got 2 lovely ice creams on a nut base with nice decoration, which we ate outside. Afterwards we went into the chocolate shop and here we found a bouquet of flowers in chocolate, a fantastic gift for many occasions. Also a good gift instead of a flower. Their opening hours are completely beyond normal, they are open until 9 pm every day, so when the florist has closed, you can always get an edible bouquet.

09/08/2026: We had the all-you-can-eat fajita and it was delicious. The chicken and ground beef were well-seasoned and nice and juicy. It came with great side dishes, fresh sauces, and warm tortillas. The service was very friendly and fast. We wanted for nothing. We would definitely come back.

19/06/2026: I dunno what is going on tonight. This is one of my go to spots, but the staff today seems really clueless. Normally the taco fiesta arrives in a few minutes, but today it's taking forever, we had a waiter bring us drinks that was not for us and a waiter come over and ask for our order after we already ordered. Service is super slow, staff is clueless, and we are just sitting here waiting, hungry. Might go get a pizza soon 🥲 Update, they brought our food to the wrong table also. This is really sad. I love this place. But tonight it's a bad experience.

25/07/2026: We had ordered a sweet deal, the food was beautifully presented, the plaice fillet was really delicious, Krebshalle with tartar sauce, Rillette on rainbow trout. Chicken salad none of the beautiful salads were particularly tasty. I ordered an alcohol-free beer, which was served lukewarm, and without a glass. I will come back and taste their alacarte card

16/10/2025: I visited Restaurant Surt & Sødt in Nakskov during DiningWeek, and it was a really wonderful experience. The food was well-prepared, exciting and beautifully presented, with good flavor combinations from start to finish. The staff were incredibly nice, smiling and attentive, and you felt really welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed, and the service was top notch. All in all, a fantastic experience that I can highly recommend – I'm already looking forward to coming back! 🌟

04/08/2026: Döner Deluxe is without a doubt one of the best places in Esbjerg if you want a really good döner or durum. The meat is juicy and flavorful, the salad is fresh, and there are plenty of fillings and dressings, so you never leave hungry. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable, and the food is prepared quickly – even when it’s busy. The location in the middle of Skolegade makes it an obvious stop after a city tour or as a quick evening meal. It’s clear why the place is so popular with both locals and visitors. If you’re in Esbjerg and fancy a good kebab or döner, Döner Deluxe is definitely worth a visit.
