From the moment we entered, the room radiated warmth: Scandinavian minimalism with a soulful, almost sacred calm. Every detail, from the single flowers in a clay vase to the design-classic stoneware, spoke of quiet dedication. The food? Simply extraordinary. • Ravioli with Ricotta & Cavolo Nero – hand-crafted pockets, so delicate and clear in flavour, the nutty, earthy kale filling lifted by subtle acidity. Truly flawless pasta. • Beef tartare from Engmosegaard – finely cut, seasoned with elegance, melting into the most balanced herb mayo, finished with paper-thin crispbread: among the best tartares we have ever tasted. • Wild mushroom toast with Semmel-Stoppelpilz – creamy forest richness absorbed by rustic bread, accompanied by a vibrant salad. A dish that tastes like a woodland walk. • Charcuterie – house-aged Salsiccia and Culatello, deeply flavoured, quietly masterful. The drinks matched this standard: a natural French Pinot Noir, perfectly paired; and a house-made kombucha with figs, coconut and a whisper of cinnamon – fragrant, alive, unforgettable. Brilliant jazz floated through the room, the host speaking of the musicians with the same passion he invests in his kitchen. His kindness and humility made us feel deeply welcome. 18/10/2025: Infinity much better than a'petit down in Lyngby Storcenter, but partially same concept. I say partially in the sense they kinda do the pasta/meatsauce with kebab toppings thing, but they also do many other simple and relatively cheap/fast dishes. Recently they've added some more "premium" pasta dishes, i.e that requires cooking. (Not just heating snd assembly). They are good, but pricier, and more importantly took them A LONG time to make. Not sure if thats a good move or not, as there are many restaurants I can sit and sit for carbonara, but few where I can be in and out with pasta in a box in 5 minutes.

28/10/2025: I was at a birthday at Café Otte & Tyve, and I was actually quite surprised by the quality of the buffet. It was a catered setup with a really nice selection – there was salad, salmon, Caesar salad, cheeses, cornichons, waffles, nuggets, potatoes, sausages, samosas, and all kinds of dipping sauces. Basically a proper breakfast-slash-brunch buffet, and I really liked it. Everything was fresh and tasty. What surprised me even more was the place itself. I’m from Sønderjylland, and down there sports clubs don’t look like this. This café is right next to football fields, so it’s technically part of a sports club, but the quality level – both of the food and the place itself – is so much higher than what I’m used to. It was a bit of a culture shock, to be honest. The service was great too. The staff were attentive and friendly, and everything ran smoothly. All in all, this was just a really good experience. The food was great, the setting was surprisingly nice for a clubhouse café, and the overall vibe was just good. Nothing to complain about.
