24/07/2025: For the price of the wine I thought there would be good service and a knowledgeable person working at the bar. I asked a question about one of the wines and received a snarky response and it still didn’t answer the question. The guy did let me taste the wine though and it was good, and I decided to have a glass. That was my mistake.
I sat at the tiny bar and a few minutes later the bartender’s friends came and I learned more about the bartender and his friends than I cared for. The whole experience was not great and I should have saved my money for one of the other stalls in the market.

03/08/2025: Best pizza I've ever tasted. Several levels above what you find elsewhere. Once you've been to Mela, you'll never ever feel happy about the standard pizzas you can get anywhere. That's of course a disadvantage.
25/07/2025: We stayed in this beautiful neighborhood for a short vacation in Copenhagen. Even though I've been to Denmark several times, I ate the most Italian pizza I've ever had here. The lightest dough, the most flavorful tomato sauce, and the combinations weren't too extravagant, to please everyone's tastes.
The quiet neighborhood and the prices in line with the rest of the city are a bonus that adds a fifth star to this beautiful little place.

27/08/2025: Four of us ate here yesterday, and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, both the hot fish dishes and the cold, original salads and seafood 🍤 You can go to the buffet as often as you like and try everything. Mussels, crab claws, fried calamari, you name it.
The view of the harbor is fantastic. You can sit casually outside under the heaters (if you like), there are blankets, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. We'd love to go back, and all for the equivalent of €30 plus drinks. You can't find this kind of quality in Germany.
The staff was very friendly. We'll be back when we're in Skagen.

08/08/2025: I love your sandwiches, but maybe your employees need to be reminded of the do's and don'ts regarding hygiene.
The young woman behind the counter was sweeping/washing the floor with gloves on in the back room when I came in. She then goes and washes her hands with the gloves on (just water, no soap) and is about to make my sandwich. She only changes when I ask her if she doesn't change her gloves before she starts making my sandwich.
It probably wouldn't have happened if the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration had come for an inspection.. Get it fixed, it's unhygienic.
But my sandwich tasted (as always) delicious!
