19/12/2025: GP wineshop & winebar by Groth & Persson is one of my favorite oases in Copenhagen, whether I just want to enjoy a glass of wine or when I want to enjoy delicious tapas and wine with my wife and good friends. The owner and staff are super nice and accommodating, they are very knowledgeable about their products, and the premises are super cozy. They have a good selection of high quality Italian wines, and finally the prices are extremely reasonable – it is value for money

06/06/2026: We stopped by Trier's Corner because they had caipirinha on the drinks menu. Their caipirinha is the real deal; they made it with the typical Brazilian liquor called Cachaça 51.

22/05/2026: Something for everyone. Great atmosphere. Being indoors, it's also perfect even in bad weather.

19/05/2026: Inside an old warehouse. Different food vendors. Mexican, Indian, Greek, sushi and more. As a tourist they treated us very nicely. Greek booth gave my husband extra meat in his sandwich and more fries to welcome us as tourists. Fun place. Quiet the afternoon we visited but lots of seating indicating busier at other times.

14/06/2026: We were SO glad the weather wasn't good the Saturday before! We didn't know there were a lot of old cars and motorcycles with sidecars (probably from WWII!) I didn't pay much attention as I was just enjoying the wind in my hair during the ride in the sidecar! And it was free! Thank you for a fantastic and wonderful afternoon of rides, talking and everything we saw in bunkers and yes, just in general! ⛺️🫶

10/06/2026: We happened to pass by the bakery today. From the street we could see some sandwiches in the refrigerated display case. We went in and ordered a sandwich with rib roast. We were offered to eat it at the cafe tables. And yum, it was a treat! We were also tempted by a good offer on cream buns for 5 kr./piece, as well as a couple of rhubarb lentils. When we got back to our holiday apartment at Bogense harbor, we were supposed to have a cup of coffee and the lentils/cream buns we had bought. We didn't have the greatest expectations for the 5 kr. homemade cream buns, but we learned better. They were freshly made with a marzipan base. If I had known, I would have bought some more. The rhubarb lentils tasted heavenly with coffee. When you make something good, you deserve praise. Best recommendations from here.

02/06/2026: Our stay at the Scandic Olympic was okay overall. The room was clean and stylish, the bed was comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a sewage smell in the room in the evening. It's not something that should result in a negative review, but it wasn't pleasant either. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good. Please keep it that way; the staff were also incredibly friendly. For a short trip, it's definitely recommended, but please look into the sewage issue, as we mentioned it at check-out and the staff member told us it was a known problem. Perhaps something should be done about it. ;) :) If we come back to Esbjerg, we would definitely stay with you again.

02/06/2026: Typical Scandic hotel on the edge of the city center. Everything was within easy walking distance from here. Friendly staff and the room had a view of the harbor.

18/01/2026: Really nice sushi. They have a lot of great deals. Actually the most reasonable price for sushi I've seen in a long time - when they have deals Really nice and accommodating :)

25/12/2025: Amazing sushi, especially all variations of salmon nigiri! Service was great and fast. Its all you can eat, so the price was really fair aswell.

18/04/2026: A great place, with plenty of inspiration for both creative and less creative people. It's not the cheapest place, but it's a souvenir for years to come. I'll definitely be back. Reservations are required.

04/04/2026: Went there with toddlers. Great atmosphere and the children loved it.

04/11/2025: We needed a coffee break with a nice piece of cake in a pleasant setting during our hike, and we found everything we needed here. We'd love to come back again ;))

06/09/2025: We were at Hals Strandcamping three weeks ago and had a really great time. The site is very clean and pleasantly quiet. We especially liked the pool – not too big, but with a great slide that our kids had a lot of fun on. 🏊‍♂️😊 The on-site shopping options are rather limited, and there isn't much to buy at the reception. The employee/owner didn't seem quite as friendly or cheerful as we've come to expect from other campsites – but that didn't spoil our stay. Since we were there outside of the holiday season, it was wonderfully relaxed. Besides a few permanent campers, there were maybe five to eight other campers there, so we felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. 🏕️ A real highlight is the beach: very clean, beautifully situated, and with extremely shallow water – perfect for children. Since there was hardly anything going on, we had almost the entire beach to ourselves. 🏖️✨ All in all, a very nice, quiet campsite that we can happily recommend. 👍

03/09/2025: We wouldn't recommend the campsite. They advertise a swimming pool, and then it's been closed since August 29th, even though it was still beautiful sunshine. We were there for four days, and the restrooms weren't even cleaned. For us, it was our first and last time there.
