15/02/2026: Absolutely delicious takeaway from a family-run micro-restaurant. Not cheap, but very few places are in Odense, and the quality was absolutely top notch. Bear in mind there is an extra ~10% charge for paying with a non-EU card (even Monzo!) and prices seem to be a little cheaper if you order online rather than in person. The owner was very patient with us while we figured this out. All in all, highly recommended - especially the shrimp in lime sauce!

07/01/2026: Small restaurant with space for 14 people, very nice atmosphere and a friendly host couple. Delicious food and large portions, cooked with love. We ordered fried rice, duck in a red curry sauce and sweet and sour chicken.

08/02/2026: Be mindful of heating costs in winter or during the shoulder seasons. Parking is free, there's a playground within walking distance, a public barbecue area, and deer running around the grounds, which was lovely. We were there in December and it was very quiet; we had the pool and sauna to ourselves. However, the opening hours are very limited, bowling is expensive, and drinks in the restaurant cost as much as your firstborn child or a kidney.

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch event, several of the dishes were burnt and it was not possible to get anything new. The food was therefore a very boring experience.

24/02/2026: Eating pizza at this spot. Amazing pizza I must say. Back to my old town for the far east and had to try this new spot. Definately worth the visit and super fast service bringing out a super tasty pizza 🍕

16/11/2025: The staff were more interested in chatting with each other than taking orders. After waiting for 10 minutes I thanked them and moved on. All this despite the fact that there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant.

12/02/2026: Yes, paying more than 200kr. for a pizza seems a lot, but the sky high quality is unmatched by any other pizza reataurant in Copenhagen - or even in Denmark - and I've had a few (including Bæst, Fumo, Corsa, Luca, Dal Forno etc.).

11/02/2026: Surt is easily one of my favorite pizza spots in Copenhagen. Located in the heart of the historic Carlsberg district (right by the elephants), it offers a world-class experience that manages to be both cozy and incredibly high-quality. The Magic of the Dough The founder, Giuseppe Oliva (who helped start Bæst), is a true master. The name "Surt" means "sour" in Danish, referring to their 100% sourdough process with no industrial yeast. The result is a crust that is light, perfectly charred, and much easier to digest than your typical pizza. It’s exactly as good as the hype suggests. The Ingredients & Authenticity What makes Surt stand out is the blend of local organic produce and premium Italian imports. • The Hindsholm Pizza: My absolute favorite. The pork sausage from the Hindsholm pigs is incredible, especially with the fermented chili. I’ve tried several others across many visits, and the quality never slips. • Authentic Vibe: You can really feel the Italian roots here. Using ingredients sourced directly from Italy makes the flavors feel truly authentic, yet it fits perfectly into the modern, industrial vibe of Carlsberg Byen. A Couple of "Local" Suggestions • The Sharing Factor: I love the concept, but I wish they wouldn't "force" the sharing experience quite so much. Sometimes you just want all the pizzas brought to the table at the same time unless asked otherwise! • Lunch Hours: Honestly, the only other negative is that they aren't open for lunch, why keep this goodness just for the evening? (Haha, but seriously!)

06/12/2025: Huge brussel waffle with 1 scoop of cookie dough ben & jerry’s ice cream and vanilla soft ice with chokolade sauce and biscoff topping, this is heavenly ❤️‍🩹. This place is so underrated and their service was so nice with a very comfy place for dine in (there’s indoor and outdoor) VERY RECOMMENDED 💯 will definitely come back here

07/08/2025: It's quite impressive how spirit and empathy can be tasted and felt in the food you eat and the place you are in. The garden is one of those places.

10/08/2025: Ordered a kebab box, they took their time making it, and when I finally got it, it was the most dry and boring round of slatten kebab with fries and 4 cl dressing I have ever been served. They say they are Aalborg's best kebab, I would say it is the world's worst kebab. Would give 0 stars.
