17/04/2026: We had ordered twice double menu no. 1. Consisting of Tiger prawns and beef tenderloin. It was quite an experience. The dish is served with plain toast bread that was toasted, with a lot of small tomatoes that were halved. The prawns were very hard and tough as if they had been overheated. Some of them were white around the edges as if they had been in the freezer for a long time. When you cut them, they are hard as if there was a shell on them. About half of both portions were returned with a comment that they were not to be cut. Showed the waiter where the prawns were white. Her comment, I'm sorry, I'll pass it on. Beef tenderloin, two large pieces with lots of potatoes with steamed vegetables. The meat was very light, beef tenderloin is usually dark. I have never seen such a light beef tenderloin, more reminiscent of veal tenderloin. The meat was very tender. There wasn't much made of the dish. It looked more like it was randomly placed on a large plate. The tenderloin was medium rare, I think this was a coincidence. We weren't asked how we wanted it. At the checkout there were no comments about the starter.

03/06/2026: We are not that fond of sugar, we think it is all, way too sweet! When we bake ourselves, we always add 50% or less sugar than what the recipes say.

19/05/2026: Thank you for being part of my daughter's 30th birthday and my 50th with our first Kagekone. It was delicious! A good-sized piece traveled all the way back to Madrid. We'll be back!

06/05/2026: Your pizza, burger etc are really good especially if you want vegetarian food in a Punjabi style. But I would still suggest that you prepare vegetarian food completely separately. For example, you should use oil that is not already used for chicken, beef or fish. It will provide a better experience for vegetarian customers. The hygiene of your restaurant is also good. I understand that you may not have that many vegetarian customers but it is still worth considering.

28/02/2026: I ordered a Punjabi Special minus the meatballs with the addition of onions, olives, dressing and mushrooms. They charged extra for that – fair enough. But when you pay extra and already pay a pretty high price for the pizza, you also expect to get what you order. First of all, I waited over 1.5 hours for the food, and when it finally arrived, it was completely cold. This is simply not acceptable. I could neither see nor taste the mushrooms or green chilies that are otherwise in the description of the pizza. It honestly felt like a completely ordinary standard pizza – and I actually think a frozen pizza would have tasted better. There was also very little dressing. But the worst part was the base. It was not fully baked – there was clearly raw dough, which can also be seen in the picture, where the toppings have been removed. It is not just a matter of taste, it is poor quality. When I called to point this out, they started arguing and insisting that of course there were mushrooms and chillies in it. I couldn't see or taste any of it - maybe I'm blind, but it didn't seem that way. All in all a really disappointing experience, especially when you pay at the higher end and have to wait so long for cold and half-baked food.

15/12/2025: I'm disappointed! I've never had a worse shawarma. I was going to have some food on Friday night with my friends, where we were served by an employee with a terrible attitude. There was almost no meat in my roll, so the only thing you could taste was the salad and dressing. Not only was the food bad, but the price was also 85kr. I had high expectations, but was met with poor service and poor food. First and last time I eat at Shawarma Bar…

13/12/2025: I was there on a Friday night and have never experienced anything worse. The man who was cutting their mediocre meat was angry and very negative. He commented on what we were talking about and said that we were not allowed to say those things because it was “inappropriate”, even though there was no one else sitting inside eating besides us. Just when you would think that his bad mood and vile presence were enough, he suddenly decides to give me and my friends the worst durum I have had in a very long time. Their meat was practically absent from my roll, and you might as well go to a salad bar for stingy vegans instead of their piss. Very sad that your trip home could end so sadly because of a grumpy little man who can’t cook. That was the first and last time I set foot in their salad bar! if you could give them 0 stars and a study tour around Denmark so they can learn what it’s like to be a decent person, they would have gotten it!

15/07/2025: Went back a year later and this is still true! Good price and service. They have gluten free pizzas that taste like normal pizzas! The time from ordering to being served was less then 15 minutes for a gluten free pizza even though there where many people ordering at the same time! Pizza good, yum yum!

04/03/2026: Yes I have had tried better Sushi before. Don't get me wrong, the sushi is really amazing ! But this place in combination of the Running sushi, with the coziness of the place and its ambient, it is just the best place to me and wife to spend a cozy evening there.

01/03/2026: I have given Mr Mu a good week to contact me about the night we ate at their place, where we experienced what you just don't want when you eat. There were two of us who ate at their place last week, where we experienced 3 times that we had hair in our food. The first time it was on the edge of a bowl with dressing. The second time on the edge of the plate where there were different sushi on it. The last time.. there was a huge hair on top of my fried 'taco' sushi. We sat and were about to throw up at the table. I can easily remove a small hair that is on the plate, but on top of my food where I bite into it.. it is unacceptable! Of course I contact the waiter, she takes the food back because we can't eat anymore after this. She apologizes of course, the waiters act quite nicely in the situation. But when I have to pay, I have to pay full price, I get no apology or anything like that from a manager/boss. I mentioned to the waiter at the bar that I find it unacceptable that I had to pay for finding so many hairs in our food, and they should mention this to the management. I had expected/hoped that the manager would contact me afterwards, as they get our cash information when you book a table. Not a good experience at all, and I will unfortunately not recommend you to others after this.

12/02/2026: Super good food. Freshly made sushi every time I've been there. Asian Fusion cuisine that ranges widely so everyone can get something to eat. And it's all very good! Highly recommended 👍

22/05/2026: The beach pavilion in Hornbæk just delivers every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the service is personal and welcoming, and the food is really well prepared with good ingredients and lots of flavor. The combination of the beautiful location close to the water and the good atmosphere makes the place really special. You want to stay all evening — clearly the best place in Hornbæk.
