26/03/2025: Amazing pizza slices. Interesting and complex flavor combinations but not the place you want to go to for a classic salami pizza. Bit pricy but the quality makes up for it. Staff is always friendly and the pizza is ready relatively quickly (can take some time on the weekends / evenings ) Indoor seating is limited and not very inviting, more of a take away place. Will always come back if I crave a slice

24/08/2025: ★★★★★ I had an amazing experience at Schmith & Thunberg ApS! Everything is fully vegan and absolutely delicious. The wide range of baked goods is impressive, and their ice cream selection is a delightful bonus. Definitely a must-visit bakery, especially if you're in Copenhagen!

19/08/2025: Cannot believe how good these pastries are. Gluten free stuff is rarely as good as the versions with gluten but the custard danish (guess the Danish call it something else) was one of the best I've ever had. It's so nice to know I can eat anything in the shop without worrying if it's been labeled correctly etc. I really did my best to try as many different options as I could in two days. The green marzipan tree log things and cinnamon swirl were very tasty, as was the beetroot hummus sandwich I had.

15/07/2025: EXCELLENT FOOD and SERVICE I dropped by for a light dinner one early evening in MAR 2025. The restaurant had customers at 4 other tables so they were able to seat me immediately. The server quickly served some cold tap water (Yes - drinkable and tasting real good in Denmark). They have a nice and mouthwatering menu (Small - not that it matters) - the same with the wine menu. Some real nice choices for wine - also per glass. I ended up with the “Karl Johan soup” and a glass of 2016 Gewurtztraminer from Trimbach, Alsace, France. The server was real professional and polite - and informative. Shared a lot of information on food and wine. Nice. My soup was excellent - and so was the wine - and they ended up being well suited to each other. The decor in the restaurant is modern minimalistic - only slight minus is that the lamps over the tables are very bright. Could be nice if the bulbs were changed to some of a more warm light. Overall a real nice experience. Definitely a place to visit when in Herning.

31/07/2025: A little gem south of Skagen. The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice. The food is exceptionally good and the staff is really nice and helpful. The guests are mainly aged 50 plus which gives peace of mind. We have already talked about going again and staying at Aalbæk Badehotel. This hotel is recommended

26/08/2025: So, if you're looking to sit in colorful houses and eat something, you can sit anywhere, because the prices and flavors are almost the same anyway. Of course, there are better options, but I highly recommend trying the fishin palette and the Aperol spritz. The place isn't bad, but it's not overly demanding. Frankly, the atmosphere isn't great. The colorful houses are right there, and the canal is right behind you. Walking around here is more fun. Copenhagen is a very expensive city, so spend your money accordingly.

18/06/2025: One star - night after night living on the same street as this bar - it’s patently obvious that the bar staff can’t seem to avoid over-serving their “clientele” - which is apparently quite overrepresented by the not quite fully post-pubescent male demographic. Understandably, when the very young lads start getting too rowdy inside the bar, then the rowdy lads end up loitering outside on the bar’s steps and doorway - shouting and harassing passing pedestrians and passing vehicles. I presume residential neighbors already pressure the bar to encourage their clients to politely “shove off” from the bar’s streetfront - and either go home (or to another bar that will tolerate them) - and to encourage them to really try harder to act like big boys and show consideration for the surrounding residences and pedestrians - that are affected by the bar’s man-babies incessant drunken constant wailing.
