20/08/2026: We visited Fjordbyen for the first time because of a flea market, and you'd hardly believe you were still in Aalborg. Formerly small fishermen's cottages have been expanded and inhabited over the years, but often left their original size because the plot of land was a limiting factor. Without the flea market hustle and bustle, it's an enchanting and incredibly beautiful little corner of the world.

18/08/2026: This is a small town, worth seeing, a quick trip to, Fjordbyen, small houses, nice people, we also listened to a concert, super lucky with 31 degrees Celsius about 15-26 August, nice walk from the center to the Blue Blues festival in beautiful weather😁🌸☀️

23/08/2026: Pleasant atmosphere and very good traditional food, unfortunately a bit expensive.

17/08/2026: The service and sandwiches are a bit strange. You have to order your sandwiches and drinks at the counter and pay right away, just like if you were at a pizzaria, and then they make the sandwiches twisted from the original approaches, but not successfully for my taste. The service follows the same pattern.

06/08/2026: Ordered a curry with chicken and got one with shrimp instead. Very disappointing when you get home and unpack the food. Very disappointing experience.

10/07/2026: Really good green curry with chicken which is my favorite but also their extra strong “pad gaprao moo” which is a large portion and super delicious.

27/07/2026: Love going there... But here in July the staff seems pretty tired from their jobs. The food is just a little above average. But the beers are cold, the selection of schnapps is great, so summer is a little more pleasant in Tivoli's ditch.

11/08/2026: The food was fairly decent. As an apatizer, we ordered a bruschatta then a chicken plate with vegetables. The service was nice. The young server was friendly and polite. The atmosphere was quite and pleasant

28/07/2026: Food was less appealing than usual and cold, staff got order wrong several times and seemed in general indignant to provide service or actually serve people (other tables had similar problems). Lots of noise (from small kids running rampant) and not very tidy.

10/08/2026: Normally I wouldn’t review a wine-bar but since I ate here as well I thought it would be fitting. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years, and I also visited Sabotøren at one point for a quick glass of wine, however this time we were there for a couple of hours. Not being a wine guy or knowing much about wine I won’t spend so much time going deep on those, however I’ll comment on the service, the hospitality and the food we ate. All three were great! The guy behind the counter was a lovely quick witted guy with lots of recommendations and obviously super knowledgeable. We ended up drinking about three of wine glasses each, all were wonderful but again he could have served me anything and I would’ve liked it. In terms of the food - or more snacks at it was, it was a good selection. We went with some different Italian salumis accompanied by olive tapanades, cheese and toasted bread. Quite good I must say, great sourcing and selection. It was a wonderful evening, I’ll make sure to come back.

16/07/2026: Smaller place where you can only sit outside with a glass of wine, it's a bit on the expensive side but cozy enough especially in the summer

22/08/2026: We were passing through, strolling through the city, and spontaneously decided to grab some sushi to go. We were very pleasantly surprised; it was delicious, and we would definitely stop there again just for yummy sushi on our next trip! 😉👍🏻 Everything was freshly prepared, the fish and the combination of ingredients in the rolls were excellent. And I especially appreciated that the inside-out rolls weren't overloaded with rice. 🫶🍱👍🏻
