09/11/2025: Price and quality go hand in hand 👍🏼

24/10/2025: Like stepping back 40-50 years in time, super good Danish food that really tastes fantastic. Here the potatoes are cooked to perfection, the parsley sauce tastes of parsley, their fried pork is extremely delicious, the Wienerschnitzel the size of a round tower, the steak cooked perfectly, can't really find anything bad... unless you really look, that makes up for 100% of the rest of the experience

11/07/2025: We just needed 3 more cakes this afternoon (it's 11:00 now), no cakes, the saleswoman didn't know anything and the 2 people behind the counter were busy making breakfast sandwiches for guests outside. Nice enough, but is it a bakery or a cafe?. Long wait. We got a strawberry pie and it's probably nice enough. I'd happily pay for the expensive potato cakes if you can get them. Now we've eaten the strawberry cake, pretty indifferent - as my husband said the last time we drove to Værløse for cakes.

08/07/2025: A great place for bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and much more. Large selection and nice seating both inside and outside.

30/10/2025: Good experience, but but but...We were 4 people. When we sat down, 4 carafes of water were placed on the table, which we had not ordered. We got food and wine for over 2000 kr. On the bill there was an item of 140 kr for "water ad libitum". It was not okay, and ruined the otherwise positive impression

06/12/2025: BISTRO V HJØRRING Incredibly poor service we experienced during the evening, false marketing with ad libitum cocktails, different rules for different tables, simply not okay. The evening starts off nice with a delicious dinner, but already at the drinks something goes wrong, one thing is ordered but another is delivered, we choose not to complain about this as it is a human error. After dinner we order dessert which we are then allowed to wait 45 minutes for, this is despite the fact that there are 6-8 guests in the restaurant at that time. After that we order their ad libitum cocktails which cost 300,- from 9-11pm, mind you, we are told that this applies to all drinks with stars, but after the first order we are told that it doesn't actually apply to all drinks with stars anyway... yes yes, peace be with that... we then wait 30 minutes to get drinks (2 each, which we were told the limit was at a time), we then order our second round when everyone has finished drinking, again 2 each, these take almost 40 minutes to come... again yes yes, we survive, as we then want to order a 3rd round we are told that the limit is now 1 drink per person which means that with the long serving time you won't have time to get more drinks in the time frame which feels like a proven act so that everyone who takes advantage of this "offer" is being cheated! Furthermore, we could hear on the table right next to us who had ordered at the same time as us that they still had to order 2 at a time, this is discrimination. Even worse is: At the same time as their ad libitum offer for 300,- from 9-11 pm, there is another offer where all cocktails cost 50,- from 9-11 pm, but when they make sure that you can order a maximum of 5 drinks before the time expires because they change the limit, you are cheated of the last 50,- since you have to order ad libitum in advance. For those who are not so numerous, in order for it to be worth it with ad libitum, you have to get AT LEAST 6 cocktails to hit the value of the 300,- compared to 50,- per piece for a single piece. If we had chosen to drop ad libitum tonight, we would have saved 50,- per person for the same amount of cocktails… We were 4 people with a total bill of over 2000,- kroner. Honestly…. No recommendations from here, we definitely won't be back.

06/12/2025: 300 kr. For free drinks from 9-11 pm. 6 drinks for the offer should make sense, but you can only order one drink at a time, so you lose money, since a drink otherwise costs 50 kr. Their drinks are very small, and there is a lot of ice in them. Very long waiting time for drinks. Waited 45 minutes for a dessert. Without getting anything extra. The dessert cost 150 kr. and was very small.

03/09/2025: Stop now, what a great experience it was to visit your old inn, very quiet, lovely food, good beer, polite service, the wife had omelettes, I had Wienerschnitzel with butter sauce, lovely and tender, not much to go on there 🤗 Well done, you two, nicely clean and very neat We'll come back when we come by one day Thanks for the food

25/11/2025: Cold everywhere, cold in the shower, in the water. The children thought it was too cold and didn't want to swim as we thought. I was so disappointed in the hotel that there was no kettle, no coffee like all other hotels usually have, there was no refrigerator. What would a mother with a small child who needed hot water do? You had to buy coffee and hot water from the reception. Would never go there again

09/11/2025: Cozy and can be recommended, the only downside is a lifeguard who makes it sound like it's because you're from Copenhagen that you say it's really slippery if you want to go from one pool to the deeper one, which he just said, he couldn't understand when he had done it lots of times, but I kept slipping there and he just forgets one thing and that is the customer is always right, so you shouldn't tell people off and don't argue back, but otherwise a great water park and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

28/10/2025: I was at a birthday at Café Otte & Tyve, and I was actually quite surprised by the quality of the buffet. It was a catered setup with a really nice selection – there was salad, salmon, Caesar salad, cheeses, cornichons, waffles, nuggets, potatoes, sausages, samosas, and all kinds of dipping sauces. Basically a proper breakfast-slash-brunch buffet, and I really liked it. Everything was fresh and tasty. What surprised me even more was the place itself. I’m from Sønderjylland, and down there sports clubs don’t look like this. This café is right next to football fields, so it’s technically part of a sports club, but the quality level – both of the food and the place itself – is so much higher than what I’m used to. It was a bit of a culture shock, to be honest. The service was great too. The staff were attentive and friendly, and everything ran smoothly. All in all, this was just a really good experience. The food was great, the setting was surprisingly nice for a clubhouse café, and the overall vibe was just good. Nothing to complain about.

10/09/2025: Quite happy with this place, but out of respect for actual restaurants I cant give them a 5. It's a kiosk/cafeteria with a couple of dishes they do that rotates pr weekday (check website for weekly menu), and also weekend brunch buffets and events. It's attached to the local football fields and feels very much like a sportsclub amenity. Its pretty good for what it is and we enjoy coming here for a quick, not too expensive meal.

25/09/2025: 9 out of 10 times it goes straight into the trash because they don't put the right dressing in. If you don't like creme fraiche, stay away because even if you order something else, you still get creme fraiche every time. I'm giving up now and won't be back.

15/10/2025: Generally speaking, the pizza was good. This might sound strange, but there was too much topping in relation to the crust, so it was simply too much. The Margarita was good, but the others, as mentioned, had too much of each topping.

12/09/2025: A small, nice and cozy place that had good deals and a varied salad bar. The service was great, and we would choose the place again. The only thing we wanted to improve was the marked taste in the food, which we don't think can be demanded for the price. Overall, a really nice place, service and food for the price.
