19/08/2025: Quiet, family campsite. The sanitary facilities were temporary in the cells, but they were clean with hot water. New ones are under construction. The owner was nice and friendly. Upon request, we had warm pastries ready at the reception in the morning.

11/08/2025: One night stay in a tent when passing through. Little playground for kids to keep them busy was appreciated as well as late check in and outside shelter to cook our meal. WC and shower were a bit smaller units, but clean and there was enough of them.

17/09/2025: We had food from Martin Kok for a 150th birthday. (25+50+75). We chose the Italian buffet. The food was fantastic and the cold was beautifully arranged on plates. The food was delivered 10 minutes before the agreed time, so there was no need to panic at any time. There was more than enough food. We are very satisfied and so were our guests. Several of the guests asked for Martin Kok's website address. When we wrote to Martin Kok, they were very quick to respond. We have no doubt about where we will order food for our next party.

04/06/2025: I was going to celebrate my 30th birthday and was looking forward to an Italian buffet from Martin Kok. Unfortunately, I am left with a very sad experience. I had ordered for 50 people for delivery with the expectation that we would eat around 3 pm I had not received any confirmation, so I asked a few days before if they could confirm the number and time. Here they first confirm, but then change my delivery time to 12.30 with the beginning “it doesn’t fit well”. Here I would have liked that I didn’t have to contact them myself to find out, but peace be with it. When we are going to eat later, we are not far into the appetizers before it turns out that they have given us the wrong appetizer. They have given us a seafood salad from the Southern European buffet. In addition, 19 out of 49 end up not being allowed to taste the second appetizer, because there was not enough when it was their turn at the buffet. Of those who had received, 14 were children and the rest had limited themselves to 1 slice of carpaccio, as they considered that the quantity would not be enough - it was not. However, for the main course there was plenty of meat, which they should be commended for, but the accompanying chive pesto was not even half of what was given. We received 1 very small bowl for all those people. I contact them afterwards to give some feedback, praising the good things, but of course expressing my ambition for the mistakes. I am completely outraged by the treatment I received afterwards. The owner refuses to apologize or acknowledge the mistakes. First I am told that I have received a starter with a salad of shrimp, serrano and pesto (the one that belonged to my buffet) and even after I send him pictures of the seafood salad I received instead, I receive no apology (I had leftovers from that very starter, picture added here). When I write the part about the chive pesto, I just keep thinking that it can't be right, there wasn't enough for 50 and just ignore the fact that I was the one in the wrong here too (I'm attaching the bowl here). In relation to the carpaccio, the blame is also just thrown back at me with the accusation that the others must have taken too much (we all know that if it's 19 people who don't have enough, then there's something wrong with the quantity). For me, it's incomprehensible that you don't just apologize for the mistakes instead of indicating that the customer is lying... I won't order from there again and neither will the guests.

10/03/2025: A bar in the center of Aarhus with a very relaxed atmosphere. The furniture is antique and the atmosphere is informal. A meeting point in the late afternoon for a bit of socializing before heading home. The prices are reasonable.

26/02/2025: The bartender made the wrong drink, but came out very quickly with the correct one, after which we were allowed to keep the wrong one. Super friendly bartender and top notch service

05/11/2025: Accidentally blew out the candle on the table, a server with short hair confiscated it. They/them made me feel victimised because of my race. Don’t go!

20/10/2025: Good place for affordable beers.

15/10/2025: We bought a gold cake and it was dry. The rest of the cakes looked pretty uninspiring. But we also arrived 20 minutes before closing time. My old mother remembered you as a good baker.

25/06/2025: The quality is as it should be, the staff gives smiles like their bread. local and good bread with bread that is beautiful

26/07/2025: We were here on Saturday around 2 p.m. There were plenty of free seats, so we sat outside, overlooking the water. It was wonderful. We had smørrebrød with plaice fillet and crab. It was very good. 👍 My espresso martini was okay, but unfortunately it had ice cubes in it. There's still room for improvement. 😉

24/07/2025: Igen et skønt besøg. En fantastisk mild sommeraften ved et ude-bord. Imødekommende personale hele vejen og en lækker anretning af Stjerneskud. Ikke for meget og ikke for lidt af det hele. Udvalget på menukortet er ikke det største men det der er er ret lækkert sat sammen. Igen - tak for mad og på gensyn.

11/10/2025: A very small place with only 7-8 tables. Maybe not the coziest place but we ate takeaway and it was really well prepared and interesting sushi which I can highly recommend. Friendly service by sweet English speaking staff. I can definitely recommend the place.

02/10/2025: The building is not charming, but inside the small restaurant is cozy. Food and drinks are ordered via a QR code that you scan on your phone. Then one delicious dish after another flows to your table, transported there by the smiling and polite staff. Try one of the multi-serving menus: it is unconventional, exciting and very tasty all the way through.

05/12/2025: We had to try a new place and unfortunately chose here. We got 2 pizzas to share, we have never experienced such a bad pair of pizzas. Save your money and buy a frozen pizza

28/10/2025: Brunch of high, high quality. It's really delicious that you can put it together yourself from many different, good things. High flexibility from the staff, who let us order in advance so that we could catch the train home towards Sydhavnen.

27/09/2025: A very nice atmosphere, absolutely delicious food, good wine, and super friendly service. The most delicious dessert ever! We loved it and enjoyed it immensely.

23/07/2025: Paris steak completely dry-fried and almost crumbled. The side dishes were delicious enough. No one asked if the food was okay, so I think it's fair to write the review without first telling the waiter about the problem. Really a struggle to get back dry steak and thick bread, without a sharp knife.

02/12/2025: Quite excellent food for the price. Unfortunately, there was a very long wait for both drinks and food. So many customers came and picked up food from the house that the door to the street was almost more open than closed. And people standing and waiting for their take-out in a restaurant that is already very small and intimate is really a bad idea. So all in all, it will be a tame affair with over an hour's wait for 6 tacos. Unfortunately, not worth the experience.

24/09/2025: Ordered through wolt. Dunno the atmosphere so I'm just defaulting to 5/5 Food arrived barely warm but that's what we expected - we do live a fair distance away and we don't mind as much. However, the food itself was kinda bland and the meat in my meal tasted... unspiced? Like it had just been thrown into the pan without salt, pepper or spices. Just fried meat. Nice enough but not what i want in my chimichanga. Rice was decent. My fiancee ordered a burrito, which she didn't like. I'm usually one to take her word for it when she doesn't like something but she encouraged me to taste it and make sure she wasn't going crazy. ... it wasn't good. It was *very* salty but lacked other spice. She's not exactly a spice hound but this was too lacking in spice even for her. Churros and margherita were aight, tho, but not worth the cash we paid.

19/12/2025: Far below par today, and unfortunately that's how it has been lately. The pizzas were overcooked, there were missing toppings, the service wasn't good enough and there was a long delay.

03/10/2025: The caramel chocolate cookie contained pecans, which weren’t mentioned, and the sweetness was so overpowering it tasted more of brown sugar than chocolate. It was so unpleasant that it had to be chucked after the very first bite. The almond croissant was underwhelming and didn’t really stand out. For anyone visiting, be aware that a 10% tip is automatically added - though you can decline. There is also a non-optional surcharge for Mastercard credit cards. Receipts aren’t printed — instead, you’re directed to a QR code for a digital copy.

16/09/2025: The pizzas were a dream! I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza. The bases were perfectly baked and the toppings were very generous. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. One small drawback: in Denmark, which is very cashless, cashless payment is unfortunately only possible via MobilePay, which is not available to foreign tourists. However, since the customers are certainly predominantly Danish, this is perfectly acceptable to us and won't deduct any points for it. So, to the non-Danish tourists: don't forget your cash! 😉 We don't understand why this pizzeria only has 3.8 stars here. It definitely deserves a 5 out of 5.
