16/12/2025: It took an incredibly long time before we got our food. The steak was half cold and couldn't melt the butter which was frozen. We had booked a table, so the party of 10 people should have been expected.

23/11/2025: Be sure to make a reservation as there are limited seats here. The usual time given to dine at restaurants was about 3 hours but because many boat owners would come back in the evening and have meals here, the time is limited to about 1 hr 15 minutes due to the higher turnover. We eventually spent about 1.5 hours here and thankfully, the staff didn’t chase us out or anything like that 😅 One of the main reason why we came to dine at Havne Bistroen was because of the Bøfsandwich – a beef sandwich that is laden with a generous amount of gravy and topped with crisp onions and diced beetroot... 10/10/2025: This quite hotel is just 100 mtrs from Middelfart station. 12 mins walk from the city center and good area. Rooms are very small.

08/11/2025: After realizing that I was charged 15kr for a glass of water with my dinner, I'm editing my review. Absolutely criminal, that's how much I spend on 4 bottles of beer at the market where I shop! A glass of water is free, and it always has been. Don't support greed like this, there's no place for it in the world! 👎 Came in to get a bite and kill some time, was happy to try my first Chinese restaurant in Denmark... Tried the shrimp fried rice and it was very nice, chunky vegetables with a good crunch, and the shrimp were plentiful and perfectly cooked. Flavor balanced seemed perfect, not oversalted. The chili oil was a great way to kick it up a notch or two, but watch out! It's good and hot! 🔥 Would love to return and try the buffet as well as sushi someday 🤞

15/09/2025: Perfect for takeout. For a comfortable meal in a restaurant, you seem to be dependent on the service's mood on the day; in our case, they were rather unenthusiastic and irritating. 😵‍💫

30/11/2025: My roommate visited your restaurant to order vegetarian sushi as a takeaway, but unfortunately she received a roll with shrimp. We called you within five minutes of her getting home and discovered the mistake. Although we were initially told that we could exchange it, it was quickly denied. She is also allergic to shellfish, so it was a pretty serious mistake. In other restaurants, in a similar situation, you would get the correct order without any problems. Unfortunately, it was subject to all criticism, and I hope you will take note.

30/11/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a really nice cocktail bar with a great collection of cocktails. I really loved the atmosphere, and we tried a range of drinks both with and without alcohol. I was impressed with how much love and consideration went into the alcohol-free options. I had the Not a Pornstar Martini, which tasted really good with the egg white, passion fruit and the bit of sparkles that made it fun. My friends also got some delicious cocktails, both alcoholic and alcohol-free. I really like that the alcohol-free options feel like real cocktails instead of something close to lemonade. I would definitely recommend this place and will come again.

06/11/2025: We were here as a business group and it was an absolute disaster. We had to wait forever for the courses, and the food was cold when it finally arrived. Unfortunately, it wasn't particularly tasty. Neither the appetizer, nor the soup, nor the dessert were good. The tables and chairs are old. The chairs wobble and are worn out. The cocktails weren't anything special either. The dessert was at least quite tasty, hence the two stars. I've been to Aarhus for work for many years and have eaten at many local restaurants. This was by far the worst.

06/06/2025: A unique bowl with almonds. This added a sense of sweetness and nuttiness that went hand in hand with the Asian flavors. The rice was quite simple compared to other sushi rice, however. Very tasty.

01/09/2025: Had their food at a catered wedding. It was incredible and enough food to feed an army. The chicken was so moist and flavorful. The desserts were mind blowing

21/10/2025: Fantastic cozy cafe/restaurant with exceptional staff that contribute to the good atmosphere. Had tartar that was topped with moderately strong horseradish - exactly as it should be, but unfortunately rarely you get it. Will definitely come again.
