25/06/2026: Absolutely shocking experience. Earlier in the day, I contacted the owner specifically to ask whether they would be showing the World Cup match and how late they would be open. I was clearly told that the match would be shown and that the bar would stay open until midnight, exactly as advertised on Google. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, I was met by an employee sitting outside drinking while supposedly working, who informed me that they were actually closing at 10:00 PM and were not showing the match at all. So either the owner had no idea what was going on in their own business, or I was deliberately misled. What made the situation even worse was seeing that after customers were turned away, the staff simply locked the doors and continued partying inside themselves. Apparently, paying customers are not welcome, but private staff parties are. After buying a single beer, I was basically pushed out the door despite having travelled there based on the information I had been given earlier. The entire experience felt dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If you advertise opening hours and promise to show a match, then honor your word. This place clearly has no respect for its customers. I will not be returning.

01/10/2025: Absolutely delicious and honest food. Like being out and about. We paid a little over 230 kr per person and tasted five different dishes: duck, Cantonese pancakes, cucumber salad, various dim sum and dumplings. Very friendly service and a really nice place.

04/04/2026: Probably the closest you can get to a "Mom and Pop shop" in Aalborg, as you know them from the USA. I have nothing bad to say, and that's saying a lot! Probably the restaurant I visited the most during my time in Aalborg city center, their take away is just as fantastic. They are also flexible if you have special requests. Just try it! 😃

22/05/2026: This is our second time staying here. The rooms are simple but clean, the staff is kind and smiling, the food is very delicious. The wellness area is very relaxing! Across the road is the sea, behind the hotel is the forest, a great place for a walk. I hope we will come again!

08/01/2026: The star of French gastronomy in Frederiksberg! A sublime restaurant that serves French classics without tremor and with self-confidence with its own interpretations that only add an even higher level of estorian elements! The wine is also affordably priced - with a really high level - guided by their knowledgeable sommelier. Sans Souci is a detour and worth the trip -

17/12/2025: Had breakfast here and was fairly underwhelmed. Lobster roll was shrimp salad? Croissant with too sour avocado and a cold smiling egg. The consistency of boiled egg with avocado did not work, a warm poached egg would have been a better solution in several respects. Or at least a warm boiled egg. Fried eggs with chanterelles, spinach, and walnuts were delicious, but lacked bread. Coffee with oat drink tasted of Oatly, which unfortunately has a not so nice acidity. It was cold in the room too. But service was on point!

02/04/2026: Incredibly delicious place. Bearnaise sauce you get addicted to, it is really top class. Got a fantastic 300g tenderloin, cooked medium and absolutely perfect. The wine list for single glasses is a bit skimpy though. Nice and delicious salad bar, with a good selection. The service was fine, even though some waiters were a bit "green" they did a good job. The premises are super cozy and it is very nice to be. Thank you for a good evening, we will be back again soon and give you our best recommendations.

18/01/2026: We booked a table and were looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time. We chose this place because we wanted to celebrate an important day for us and therefore we wanted to eat well. But we got a small table at the bar (like many others), the bar and kitchen are open and you can't hear your own words. We got an English speaking waiter who we think we'll have all evening (because that's what more expensive restaurants do). It takes a long time between the different waiters coming and they are called almost every time. There is only salt on our table even though other tables also have pepper, wine glasses are left standing even though we didn't order wine and we ask the waiter to remove it ourselves, as there is almost no space on the table in advance, dull knives that can even cut butter and not a steak. The light in the ceiling flashes all the time and is actually super annoying. There is not much space as mentioned earlier - the table next to it has a small child in a high chair who is sad and tired since it's 7 pm, and the table behind it also has a small crying child. In the poor acoustics you want to get up and leave... Then the main course came - it's ok, but for the price it's not that exciting. The salad bar is probably the only thing that gets praise! After a rather long wait, dessert comes - waiter no. 4 or 5 at the time serving us puts it in front of us and leaves without a word - the menu card says that it's the seasonal dessert, but not what it is, so I ask the waiter directly what it is we're getting - but funnily enough she can't hear anything either, so she doesn't answer and runs on. A couple behind us asks nicely about when we came in and we could tell that it was only 5 minutes before them, well they were still waiting for their food, and they immediately tell us about their disappointment. We start talking and a waiter finally notices them - they were completely squeezed and forgotten behind the wall and didn't have a chance to approach the waiter - and basically you expect them to walk around a bit and keep an eye on it, but of course it's quite difficult when a waiter doesn't have their regular tables. For us, first and last time... way too expensive food and no experience... I think the owner needs to start thinking about acoustics, staff who neither smile nor are welcoming (get contact or dialogue with the customer), chaos (no fixed tables and forgetfulness) and improve the dining experience - maybe you should take a trip to Ribehøj to learn how things should be done because in terms of price, the restaurant is almost at the same end.. Nice no thanks from here 1500 kroner can be spent elsewhere next time..

18/05/2026: May 2023: Really expensive, but it was nice to sit outside in the good weather. It cost about 60,- per drink. 4/5 May 2026: Really good Caesar salad. And nice shooting star with one warm fish fillet - but nothing steamed underneath. Friendly staff, they did talk about interesting things at the bar, which maybe could have waited a bit or quieted down 😅

22/09/2025: Dark store where ceiling fixtures are full of dirt/insects. From the outside it seems closed. A little more charm from the staff would be desirable.

02/12/2025: It's simply too slow. I waited 21 minutes for some burgers. The staff is running around and making fun of each other in the kitchen and are extremely unproductive. Simply not good enough.

23/11/2025: If the manager can't provide good service, it doesn't give me confidence that the other employees can either. She chose to double check my order, even though I had clearly chosen a burger without cheese, and when it turned out I was right, she was visibly irritated. This is unprofessional and not the first time I have experienced poor service. I therefore unfortunately have to cancel my subscription and cannot recommend the place.
