20/06/2026: I have known this place since I was a child and have occasionally enjoyed a cake or two. It has always been a cozy shop and good service! However, I will say that the quality of their cakes has gotten a lot worse over the years, plus the prices have increased (like everything else in the country, and of course it is not just the bakery's fault). The last few times I have bought cakes from them, I have been super disappointed with the quality of the cakes. For example, their quay cake has gone from tasting fantastic with delicious soft pink cream, to something that is so disgustingly sweet that you can barely finish the little cake, with a consistency I can only describe as a form of "frosting" i.e. more solid. And the strawberry pie, which was bought a few days ago, has had far too sweet cream (compared to, let's say, the same cake from 4 years ago), and has become approx. 30kr more expensive :( I would personally much rather go to, for example, Brugsen and buy one of their cakes for a cheaper price, as you often get something better for your money However, it must be said that I have not tasted every single cake and bread they have - I am only speaking from personal experience.

20/08/2026: Lovely café. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, good coffee and a fantastic cheesecake. The cozy courtyard really makes Café Apotekerhaven something special.

20/08/2026: Really cozy café in Middelfart. The beautiful garden is a little oasis in the middle of the city, and the coffee is really good. Perfect place for a quiet coffee break and some homemade cheesecake.

26/08/2026: The food tastes really really good and has a very special taste that makes you have a great experience. At the same time, I think that a lot of people will like it. Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail, the dressings fit the salads perfectly, the spring rolls are amazing, and the meat is fried perfectly. Huge recommendation from here! 10/10! 🤩

06/09/2026: As far as a cozy place and also an ok selection, when it is not mostly sold out, but more unhelpful staff you have to look for a long time. Have had several strange experiences. The latest example is that we come in, order coffee, but the clerk is very busy talking to a colleague, which is why we have to repeat our order a couple of times. When she finally gets it all right and we get paid, a few minutes pass, after which she informs us that she can't sell us coffee anyway, because now they have suddenly closed, with a look as if it was obvious. So no regrets or anything like that. We'll keep you our payment.

27/07/2026: Hipster dufus coffee obsessed enters hipster coffee obsessed cafe. It went well. Very well. Then again. Very, very well. Terrific coffee well made with fun cakes that are more sugar than culinary experience. The service is great. Yeah, the place could use a scrub, but hey, couldn't we all? Im a huge fan of their cheese bun. Very different. Very much for the better.

14/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to come to Mørkhøj pizza. When we came there the second time they already remembered my son, you quickly feel like a regular customer! Their food is also good!

02/09/2026: After a morning of cycling we stopped here and got served great fresh sushi and other side dishes in “all you can” fixed price which was totally worth it. Very kind staff too,a lovely cold Asahi beer added ( not included in fixed price) and it really hit the spot! Highly recommended!

30/08/2026: Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas. Got something that looked like 2 frozen pizzas with chicken slices on them and no pepperoni. Also, the website says they cost 89 kr per piece but they demanded I pay 230 kr… A further price of 40 kr for pizza of the lowest quality I have ever tried

24/08/2026: Butter chicken was super nice and delicious! The dal was very spicy even though we ordered both dishes as mild. The staff is nice - they speak English
