10/11/2025: My wife and I had an amazing time at Grand House Burger. The service was very friendly, we got out food quickly even though there were a few other tables and only one person managing the whole restaurant. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. I wish we were staying in Rudkøbing longer because this place was something special. Absolutely worth a visit.

09/11/2025: They advertise take-away, almost never answer the phone. When they do, they are rude, have a bad attitude, just say "we don't do take-away today" in a harsh tone and hang up. This is not the first time this has happened.

14/12/2025: It was an attached party room. Nice service with coffee, viennese bread and refreshments; but the acoustics were terrible. The room was filled with about 25 people, who were talking happily. It thundered violently. We were two older people and could hardly hear what the other person was saying :(

09/12/2025: ⭐️ Centrally located mwd free parking ⭐️ Varied, delicious and flavorful food ⭐️ Reasonable prices ⭐️ High level of service ⭐️ Clean toilets We were invited to an event, but if you live in the area, it's a really good place for your guests. I love places that serve both Coke and Pepsi 😊 Tuborg and Carlsberg 😊

23/06/2025: Really nice place. Good atmosphere. Reasonably chill. I was there for breakfast alone. Nice food. Reasonable price, compare. with the inner city. People sit with their laptops, or newspaper. Super nice and relaxed atmosphere. International clientele. All ages. Will definitely come again.

21/08/2025: There's a large selection of sweet pancakes, but unfortunately only three savory options and no vegetarian options. While it was possible to opt out of the meat, more choice would have been nice. We ate three savory pancakes, which tasted okay but were nothing special. The portion was sufficient for a snack, but rather too small for a full meal, and at around €18, they were unfortunately overpriced.

10/11/2025: It's my first time in Løkken and I wanted to find some pizza. By chance I ended up at Palme Pizza. I'm so glad I did! There were 2 young girls behind the counter who were in control of everything and had fantastic service. It won't be the last time 😊

02/12/2025: Really bad food and service in both restaurants in Aalborg.. potatoes and gravy were cold in both places, it took forever to get new ones, and then the meat was cold, so when the same thing happened in the city, I gave up asking, maybe also because those sitting next to us complained that the meat was too red, and the two of them sat and waited for over 20 minutes, so when new food came the rest of the party had almost finished eating.

31/08/2025: Long wait for food, when it finally came it was cold and without much taste. We ordered a 7 course serving, but it was a bad experience, Stracciatella which was served with chili we got 4 pieces, where it looked like they had dropped the chili pot on two of them, we had to ask for bread before it came despite finding out that it was included in the 7 courses. When the pasta finally came it was cold and very boring. The waiters were busy and therefore very little available, our waiter was really nice when she was there and compensated us for the long wait with an extra bottle of wine and coffee, which was a nice gesture of her, but still does not make up for the fact that we are a large group that probably will not come there again.

30/08/2025: Went to a company event where we had ordered a menu and drinks at the same time as booking. Waited 1 hour for the starter and then waited 1-1/2 for the main course which was pasta carbonara. 2 plates to share with 12 people. Dry and boring pasta so we could only just see the shadow of some cream sauce and a small handful of bacon sprinkled on top. The tin of parmesan cheese that was sprinkled on top unfortunately didn't make the dish any better. We asked if there was more coming and they would probably find out. 1 hour later still no food. The restaurant had run out of pasta. We had to order pizzas ourselves. 30-40 minutes later the children's pizza appears which is not baked through and without filling. A super boring experience which is topped with something that looks like a splattered Kaj cake. It was obviously their version of a tiramisu. It didn't taste anywhere near tiramisu. I talk to a waiter who says that you should come on a regular weekday because the food is much better there. You can be absolutely sure that I will never come back because I have never had such poor food before...

20/07/2025: Cozy little place with a lovely terrace on the riverbank. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

25/06/2025: During our last day in Copenhagen, we went into El Cava for one drink on our way back to the hotel. My wife and I ended up staying 2 hours talking with the bartenders Clara, Sophie, and a new HS graduate Mathildae. They were very inquisitive in the similarities and differences in our cultures. It was the highlight of my stay in Denmark. I was very impressed with the young adults in Denmark. Please support this bar. The beer was outstanding and my wife loved the mixed cocktails Clara prepared.

31/08/2025: We were a group of 8 old friends who visited the bistro as part of a trip to Odsherred. We had been looking forward to a good evening in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, expectations were far from being met. The place is indescribably idyllic and romantic. Ideal for couples. The bistro, as they choose to call it, is beautifully and modernly decorated, with a visible kitchen in the middle of the room - creating a good dynamic and atmosphere in the room. However, it did get very hot in the room on a warm late summer day, which is excessive. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, but we encountered a surprising amount of it. We had 5-6 waiters serving us during the evening. This gave us a very disjointed experience of the service and there was poor coordination. We have nothing against time passing between servings, but for a pre-ordered 3-course menu and without a full house, it was surprising that it took so long. We tried to order cocktails and coffee at the end of the evening, but gave up when two waiters didn't follow up on this. The food was very mediocre for the price, none of the three dishes we had on the seasonal menu was anything worth remembering. The starter (Quenelle on scallops on a bed of lobster foam and spinach) was beautifully presented, but far too neutral in taste. It was only the lobster that gave the dish flavor. The main course (Hake) was tasty, but the side dishes were a bit out of sync. It's always delicious with fresh and local ingredients and vegetables, but they didn't suit the fish. The recommended red wine, which the fish was paired with, didn't either. The dessert (Clafoutis) was simple and tasted good - but nothing more than that. The price level for food and especially drinks is on the high end, if you call yourself a bistro. The menu cost 550 per person, which is reasonable for three courses without the big frills. The wine is overpriced by restaurant standards and it is downright greedy to charge the party 200 kr for the accompanying water when we had paid 4000 kr for wine. All in all, a disappointing experience and no one in the party wanted to come back. Too bad, because Dragsholm Castle is beautiful and the bistro has the potential to be a Michelin star.

29/08/2025: Mediocre dining experience, service, unfortunately very little attention, not much interest in upselling. After ordering, we were given new menus by another waiter. After asking for the bill, we were finally offered if we wanted coffee/dessert or something else, which had been 30 minutes. After we were empty in our glasses. For the price of the bill, many places in Copenhagen were on a completely different level in both food and service. Maybe we should have chosen the Michelin variant.
