07/09/2025: A long overdue review for a place that left Lasting Impression of Danish Cuisine. Even after years have passed, my memory of dining at Almanak in Copenhagen is as vivid as ever. My culinary journey through Northern Europe led me to this stunning restaurant, and I was immediately struck by its elegant design and well-thought-out decor. From the meticulous table settings to the beautifully curated menu, every detail was perfect. The service was impeccable and a true highlight of the evening. The staff's ability to not only deliver each dish but also to passionately explain its preparation and ingredients added a layer of depth to the experience. Their positive energy and knowledge made the meal even more memorable. I opted for the three-course menu, which was a masterpiece of Danish flavours. The salt and sugar cured pike perch with beans and rapeseed oil was fresh and delicate. The main course, organic chicken with brown butter, carrot and elderflower, was a comforting and sophisticated dish. The dessert—black currant, salt caramel malt, and tarragon—was so incredible that it seemed to disappear the moment it was placed in front of me. The food was absolutely delicious, and I still commend the chefs for their masterful presentation of classic Danish cuisine. Even tho I missed a visit on my current trip, I am eagerly looking forward to returning to Almanak in the coming months, confident that the quality and integrity of their food remain just as exceptional as I remember.

30/08/2025: We had ordered an early bird for the price, the food was fine. There is only a wine list, it would have been helpful to have a list of other drinks as well, so the waiter has to try to remember which beers or sodas they have. If you manage to get in, you can. If you come outside the opera's opening hours, it is almost impossible to find your way in. All doors are locked, there is only a sign for a cafe that was closed. You have to call the restaurant so that an employee can come down and pick you up. It would save everyone time and resources if it was communicated that you had to call and where you had to stand to get in. The view is nice from the restaurant, but better from the balcony.

13/11/2025: The pancake is baked fresh to order. Tasting of various salsas. The most delicious durum roll I have ever tried.

25/09/2025: Our favorite place, where we've been coming regularly for about 10 years. Always fresh and delicious, despite the change of ownership. Very friendly service. We usually take the Tallerken kebab to go—the portions are so huge that the box doesn't close properly. Payment is by cash or mobilepay. There's relatively limited seating inside, but in the summer, there's a large outdoor seating area.

07/12/2025: Way too expensive, and the prices on the website don't match at all. You order, and then you're told that the prices online are old — but that's not my problem, it's your website. And the service... absolutely terrible. I'll never set foot there again.

12/08/2025: Very nice people, great value for money. The mixed salad was actually quite green by Danish standards. Arugula and iceberg lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and onion, and plenty of it. The medium pizza had a generous topping, making it almost impossible to finish; it was very tasty. The interior was more of a takeaway experience, but the terrace was very nice. A lot of people came by to pick up their food, which also speaks volumes about the quality.

08/08/2025: Super cozy with a lovely atmosphere. The owner is super sweet and they simply make the best durum I've tasted in a long time 💪 Nice that they don't splash everything in dressing and they use good ingredients.. I highly recommend

11/12/2025: Way too damn expensive, you get three tiny dry ass tortillas with shitty chicken or ground beef. Never compare this trash with real Mexican food.

04/12/2025: Good authentic tacos, not very good value for money. For 170 kroner I actually expected to be fairly full. Service was quick, if you were remembered. Food was forgotten and nothing was done or mentioned to fix it. No apology either and not much room for those sitting behind. Probably wouldn't come again

09/05/2025: Fik en lækker gang frokost tapas og skønneste vin til. Det er sådan en hyggelig restaurant og dejlig køligt i varmen. Super lækker tapas, glæder mig allerede til næste gang jeg skal besøge dem.

04/05/2025: Forventede os mere af en menu til mere end 700 kr. Måske derfor man undlader at reklamere for menuen på hjemmesiden. Ingen skaldyr og billigt kød, som ikke smagte helt friskt.

23/11/2025: I have eaten burgers from here about 10 times over the past year. I have always been satisfied. Nice staff. The Route66 burger is super good.

23/10/2025: 1 visit the chicken had had far too little, I had to throw out the middle part, it was inedible. 2 visits today 23 Oct .... I heard them talking behind the scenes about whether the chicken had had enough and when I got it it was divided in 2, but no there was rot inside, although not as much as the first time, on the other hand the fries were completely dark and dry, most of them were crunchy between my teeth. As for the remoulade, I bought 2 to have enough, but now I had to buy extra for 30 kr of the small 25g bags if you squeeze out absolutely everything ... Crazy... I have bought from the one at Silvan before even though it is a long time away, there are never any problems. On the other hand, the portions are fine, but if you have to throw out so much and have a bad mood when you leave, it doesn't matter. The staff is really nice, but if you can't cook, it also doesn't matter. I think it was the same blonde girl who did it both times. If I ever have to come again, I'll demand a new one.

10/11/2025: My wife and I had an amazing time at Grand House Burger. The service was very friendly, we got out food quickly even though there were a few other tables and only one person managing the whole restaurant. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. I wish we were staying in Rudkøbing longer because this place was something special. Absolutely worth a visit.

09/11/2025: They advertise take-away, almost never answer the phone. When they do, they are rude, have a bad attitude, just say "we don't do take-away today" in a harsh tone and hang up. This is not the first time this has happened.

10/10/2025: Volunteer-run bakery and supermarket. Enjoy delicious coffee!
