31/12/2025: Really bad experience, the building was dirty and it smelled really bad, like mold and fungus, the whole place seemed unhygienic to be honest. The service was not good either, the staff was surly and seemed uninterested. The pizzas were a big disappointment, they tasted like half-baked dough and bad ingredients, only one of them was okay and it felt more like luck than quality. I actually experienced something similar last time too. Haven't eaten there since and won't be back.

15/09/2025: Fast food type cuisine, but relatively good and very generous. On the other hand, a small downside is that we could not access the indoor dining room because we were accompanied by our dog (not allowed) and we found ourselves outside in the cold and rain to eat our meal... it's a shame! Because the timing was mixed!

04/09/2025: Can fully recommend. Burgers and Ribs are very good. Also the small Salad and Potatoe Sides Buffet is very good. Our small Child was allowed to eat from the buffet with no extra charge. Went there twice on our last trip and will visit again if we ever come back for holidays.

30/08/2025: We waited too long to order 2 whisky 🥃 and they didn't have proper glasses as clean and we have to wait for the glasses to be washed then another bartender just got them and the bartender we ordered, he tried to gave us in normal water glasses and that's unacceptable. I told I want to drink my whiskey as it should be. I am generally not complain but that service is cross the line. He also didn't check as he didn't have the whiskey we ordered so we had to wait that too. It took us almost 30 min to get our whiskey and we received in a hot glasses as watery.

12/12/2025: I have passed La Sirena countless times, but until yesterday I had never eaten there before. It is definitely a place I will return to: The service was polite, friendly and good, the food was delicious, and the decor was really cozy: really pleasant background music (soft jazz of a kind), which allowed for conversation. Unfortunately, you could not tip unless you had cash - the Dankort machine did not come up with an option to add something.

07/12/2025: Had the best pizza I've had in a long time... But it was too busy and we waited a little too long for the food. But luckily it was a nice place.

01/11/2025: Would not recommend this restaurant. Maybe fine as a pizza takeaway, but not exactly impressed with their service or the food. However, friendly staff and cheap food. Nice location close to the sea. There were 10 of us and we all ordered schnitzel, starfish and plaice fillet. We lacked a menu, we each had to go up and order at the bar, we got the wrong drinks and were missing shrimp for our plaice. In general, the cleanliness was not top notch. The glasses seemed dirty, as they were not polished. The dishes were not the same, despite there being several of us at the table who ordered the same thing. The plaice was fried too dry and the salad was uninteresting. The bread in the starfish was a toasted burger bun, only contained deep-fried plaice fillets and shrimp as fish and was missing a dressing. In addition, there was oregano on everything, even lemons and fish.

06/09/2025: A normal pizzeria. Unfortunately, the burgers and schnitzels were only average.

31/08/2025: Best pizza on Amager! Don't be fooled by the fact that it looks a bit dingy from the outside. They know their stuff!

14/02/2026: Too expensive, entry, and forcing visitors to buy both food and drinking (not allowed to bring). And final straw: when trying to return the 20 kroners payed coin used in locker - "coin is refunded after" it said - but tricked literally by just refunding you the "LEO COIN", and not being able to refund the 20 kroners, so stuck with a stupid coin only for a toy box.

13/02/2026: Rude staff and very poor service. The staff is very picky about the children and can yell at them, which sometimes scares them. In addition, we found the place not to be very clean. Very disappointing experience.

03/01/2026: We arrived at 7:45 PM but couldn't get Bowls because they didn't have rice. So ordered 2 chicken skewers which were ice cold and 2 times fries which were so soft. We ordered one flute with ham and cheese but the daughter found some other meat in it. A really bad experience, always thought Varde was better than Esbjerg but maybe not anymore, it won't be long before we come again

07/01/2026: Not much parking and not sure if it's paid parking. The last few times I've only used the Drive Through. But very friendly service. And the food was hot.

02/03/2026: Ordered food on Monday, it was cold when delivered after a 45 min wait. All responsibility is placed on JustEat. No service or offer of compensation. It just killed the atmosphere. The food is greasy and uninteresting. The burger wasn't even seasoned with salt and pepper! Unappetizingly presented. Will not order food there again.

03/08/2025: Fuimos a visitar el distrito de envasado de carne y estábamos buscando un lugar para comer en una noche muy ocupada. Elegimos gorila y nos ofrecieron un asiento junto a la ventana, que era agradable. Fuimos atendidos por diferentes empleados que eran todos muy profesionales, un camarero particularmente guapo que se parecía a cómo me imaginaría Tidus (personaje de videojuego) se vería en la vida real. Vertió el expreso sobre el affogato con finura bromista Nuestro camarero explicó que el menú es principalmente para compartir - se pide más para compartir, pero elegimos platos individuales. La porción de filete de hierro era pequeña pero de buena calidad y nos habían advertido a tope el tamaño. Estaba feliz con mi pasta. Las porciones de vino eran pequeñas, pero el vino proporcionado era de buena calidad. Preferiría que en el futuro usaran jiggers reales para verter el vino para garantizar un vertido consistente y justo, sin embargo, soy Inglés por lo que esto puede no ser tan importante para la gente Danesa. En general tuvimos una buena experiencia y gracias a los chefs y el personal por una deliciosa comida.
