15/07/2026: I don't recognize the negative criticism as the food was excellent at an extremely reasonable price, the facilities were comfortable, and the staff were welcoming.

02/07/2026: It's a really nice brunch for the money! Friendly staff, fast service. One of the few places where you can get tartlets ad libitum. It's really hard to argue against.

13/05/2026: I personally ordered roll kebabs and 2 were supposed to be without salad. I repeated this when ordering. Still, I got all kebabs with salad! It is also worth adding that the dough for roll kebabs is very slightly baked, which negatively affects the taste. It is not edible for us. Wasted money.

05/09/2026: The kebab/salad pizza yesterday was almost completely tasteless. It was as if their kebab was from frost, and then thawed in hot water - it tasted of nothing. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had this experience.

05/09/2026: Brilliant. I was on the verge of starving to death because I hadn't eaten all day. And then like an angel from heaven I saw that they were open AND that they took mobilepay. Brilliant. The price for a delicious pita bread? Cheap. The food? Super insane. 10/10 would come again if I didn't live an hour away :(

07/09/2026: Unacceptable. We waited 15 min to have a waiter take our order. After that, while some of us got their food, others didn't. Even first course dishes were brought to the table only after some of us finished eating. The food was probably left on the counter for a long time since it came almost cold. The Ramen was cold and salty and we left it uneaten. Avoid this place

10/07/2026: So really nice drinks, at a nice price, maybe a little too high sometimes. It's very small so it gets humid and hot down there very quickly. There's also not really room for a dance floor or for you to move around. My friends love it, but I don't see the big hype. There's also a smoking room down there.

05/07/2026: Bar with a pub atmosphere. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm to 2am. You go down to the basement. At the very back is the bar, where you can buy strong drinks for cheap. For example, a long island for 150 kr. for 2. There is also a smoking room with a table. Very young people 18-24 years old come there. 06/08/2026: Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

26/06/2026: Randomly stopped by due to highway closure. But a really good experience. We got a 1/2 grill chicken with fries and a homemade pita with sharwama kebab. Both were absolutely perfect. It was easy to find parking in the parking lot right next door, and the staff was nice and accommodating.

20/07/2026: At the time of my visit, the Google score was only 3.9, which I consider far too low, especially when you consider how many restaurants have scores well over 4 without being any better. The food was good, but as expected, not exceptional. The price-performance ratio is acceptable for Denmark. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is pleasant, with a view of the yachts and the Little Belt.

15/07/2026: The food was ordered and known at the time of reservation. The restaurant would then have the chance to be "picky" about the meal. And not as it seemed to make it hours in advance and put it in the refrigerator. And in addition, serve a pre-ordered dessert known for its warm caramel lid and creamy content, while the rest of the meal is ice cold and grainy with crunchy cold sugar mass.

18/05/2026: This place gave me really strange feelings. They tried to create something like a spontaneous, easy-going street culture spot where you can eat, drink, chill, and listen to a DJ. But I couldn’t shake off the feeling that it all felt unnatural and uncomfortable. It reminded me of having a conversation with someone who is playing a role instead of being themselves. You walk in — and you feel it.

13/08/2026: Highly recommend Café Garibaldi! I was in Herning one summer day on a completely different errand and needed to find a place to eat lunch. Without having done any preliminary work, I stumbled upon Café Garibaldi on a cozy square in the center. My expectations weren't really high. Because how often do you actually get an experience at a café that goes beyond the ordinary and expected? But I was genuinely surprised. First of all, Café Garibaldi is incredibly cozy. The atmosphere is fantastic, and there is a really good energy in the room. The place was well-visited by people of all ages, and you can immediately feel that there is life and soul in the restaurant. The staff was a chapter in itself. Sweet, attentive and extremely professional. Especially a young man, who I guess was either the owner or the daily manager, was a real party firework. Charismatic, welcoming and with an energy that is simply contagious. At the same time, he was razor-sharp on my questions about both the menu and the wine. I hesitated between their steak sandwich, which supposedly comes with homemade pickles and a slow-cooked sauce. But it was a hot summer day, so I went with a burger instead. And shut up, how delicious it was! A big, juicy ground beef, delicious fries and lots of dip. Exactly what you hope for when you order a good café burger. Personally, I would have liked to see pickles in the burger rather than fresh cucumbers, but that is clearly a matter of taste and just my personal preference. A little unconventionally, I felt like white wine for lunch and chose their Riesling. I was quite skeptical, because the price was very low compared to what you usually pay for even a mediocre glass of Riesling. But honestly, this was one of the best Rieslings I have ever had. Period! And last but not least, it was a pleasure to be served white wine that was actually perfectly tempered and not lukewarm, which is unfortunately experienced all too often. It can't possibly be their white wine that makes them money. In short, Café Garibaldi is a gem. Not just because of the food, but just as much because of the atmosphere, the staff and the energy the place has. The prices are on the low end, and compared to the lunch I had, it's a steal. I left with a big smile on my face and can only warmly recommend Café Garibaldi. If you're in Herning, do yourself a favor and stop by.

09/07/2026: Delicious food, especially the shooting star was really good. The vegetarian burger was also good and really good fries. I could have thought of a few more vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had a strawberry, ginger, apple shake and it was really good. The food and drinks were all in all really good. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend the toilets. They were very small stalls where I had to be careful that my clothes did not hit the toilet bowl, the door opened into the stall, so you had to find space to close the door again. Toilet paper is the thinnest you can buy and in the toilet I was in, the roll was put on the metal clamp where there is usually a hygiene garbage bag, so it was difficult to take paper. The toilets also seem far too old and impractical compared to the rest of the restaurant. They need a renovation.

23/07/2026: Updated 23/7/26 The prices have now been raised drastically, and do not match the quality. I will buy elsewhere in the future unfortunately. (Reviewed January 26: Large selection. Fine food for the price. It is not a culinary experience. Nor the best pizzas I have eaten. It is quite fine for the price. The owner is nice and accommodating. The price matches the food you get. It is cheaper than others in the area. If it were 20% more expensive, I would buy elsewhere. But it is fine enough for me.)

27/09/2025: Our waiter was clearly paid on a per-glass basis for the dishwasher, as he repeatedly grabbed our half-empty wine glasses, albeit in a sweet and smiling manner. If it weren't for the terrible acoustics, we would also have been able to hear what we were being scolded for by the champagne lady (you know who you are). good tiramisu. Can recommend investing in some acoustic panels 🫶

16/09/2025: Can be a bit quiet midweek, but the food and exceptional service more than compensate for this!

06/06/2026: One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, with everything homemade (smoothies, hummus, yogurt, etc.). They also gave us free wine in the evening! The hotel lobby and rooms were really cozy.

29/05/2026: Very nice and cosy hotel. The staff and bar area makes you want to hang out and stay 5 minutes more. Rooms are good and the hotel has a good, central location.
