09/08/2026: Hillerød paradise is simply the best place to eat ice cream and take a walk in SlotsArkaderne at the same time.

08/08/2026: Really boring taste in the ice cream, a mouthful that tastes like whipped cream... you also have to pay extra for a small dollop of whipped cream with jam. Without it being stated anywhere, it usually comes with the ice cream, at least it should at that price!

03/05/2026: Super delicious pizza. Really friendly, helpful and accommodating service and super fantastic coffee. Cozy courtyard environment. Will definitely come again.

03/07/2026: We were there on Saturday, June 27, during a heat wave. We had good service, had a Caesar salad and a piece of mackerel, both decent without standing out. There were very few customers; fortunately the service was nice and accommodating. It was nice to be able to pay after the meal, so we took an iced coffee with us.

25/05/2026: A shoddy affair. The staff couldn't really handle it. The burgers were late, but served cold. The moules didn't seem fresh. Nonsense.

26/07/2026: The food was nothing to shout hurray for. The same food drove by all the time, not much variety. We had to look for desserts for a long time. We approached the staff about it. They wanted to fix it. After 30 minutes still nothing and we decided to leave.

08/03/2026: I've been here several times before and the service and food were really good, but yesterday, my boyfriend and I walked out without eating anything. We arrived a bit early and were told we could have a table on the close side as soon as they cleared it. No problem. We were a bit early, so waiting was just fine. They never cleaned the table. Or any table. We and another couple were taken to the other side of the band. We passed several tables with mountains of dirty plates, including some guests still eating. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when they had available seats. When we were finally seated, we were behind a few family with kids, and those kids ran wild around the place, screaming and without shoes. The children had their hands in their mouths and noses, and were reaching into the conveyor, reaching over the belt to food on the other side that was on the way to us to get what they wanted. They were touching the belt and other food. I understand that it's not the restaurant who controls the children, but there needs to be rules to keep guests from contaminating food. Furthermore, there WAS no food. There were some warm "child friendly" things like nuggets and fries, and there were slices of cake, wasabi, and perhaps 2 plates of sushi on the entire belt. We waited at least 10 minutes afer waiting 20 minutes to be seated for the server to come and take our drink orders where I had seen enough to say we wouldn't be ordering and left. I informed them of the cleanliness of the situation. I get that the restaurant is family owned, but there also needs to be a distinction between home and business. The owners' own children were running around and throwing things, and when we left, they had taken a gas torch from the kitchen (we saw him go into the food prep area and take it) and was setting off fireworks right outside the door to the restaurant. They literally had to move aside so we could come out.

02/09/2025: Good cafe that unfortunately changes owners like the rest of us change summer tires on our cars. But luckily they don't try to reinvent the wheel... a cafe that works. Also good for kids.

31/07/2026: Unfortunately they were busy that day, so it took some time to get a table and your food. Unfortunately, the majority of their summer bowl consists of potatoes, which is not on their menu.

20/07/2026: A fantastic experience from start to finish. You can clearly taste that the food is made from scratch with good ingredients. The tartare was really delicious, and the fish cakes were among the best we have had. The Anderson Session IPA was an excellent match for the food and rounded off the experience perfectly. We will definitely be back.

14/07/2026: Cozy running sushi 🍣 with many different kinds of sushi, baked dishes, chicken, duck, sausages and peas, cherries, strawberries, pineapple, melon, ice cream .... Very nice on small plates. There was also tabf, ginger and wasabi. There was definitely no shortage of tasty food 😋 Super nice staff when we asked for more creme br^ulee, there was also marshmallows..... Definitely worth a visit again, and our grandson and his girlfriend have praised it very much .... 1000 thanks for a wonderful evening ❤️

08/07/2026: Ordering at Ya Ya Sushi via Too Good To Go. ​This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered a "surprise box" (sushi and Chinese food) for pickup through the Too Good To Go app. ​My impressions: ​Portion size: In my opinion, the amount of food is enough for two people. ​Service: The staff was friendly and welcoming. ​Atmosphere: I picked up my order between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM. There were no customers in the dining area at that time, so the pickup was quick and without any lines. ​A good first experience—everything was efficient and polite.

18/04/2026: The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the interior appears modern. The rooms are modern, simple and good. The beds were top notch. In the bathroom, the shower was separated by a glass door - excellent. There is a "motel" feel to the place, as you can only access the rooms from the outside. Many similar hotels have a basement corridor, so you can go directly from the hotel/reception to the room blocks. That would have been a clear advantage. The food - tapas menu - actually didn't have much to do with tapas. The individual small dishes tasted okay, but the whole thing remained "messy". We had been looking forward to the breakfast buffet. It was a disappointment as it was completely crowded when we arrived. We could only sit at another table with other guests. The plates were almost empty - but were later refilled.

30/03/2026: We use the hotel when we visit friends. But it suits that purpose perfectly.

29/03/2026: Several days after eating their food, we all experienced stomach upset. It is clear that the frying oil is not changed regularly, which results in a bad taste in the fries. Although the many flat screens contribute to a modern and inviting environment, priority should be given to improving hygiene practices. And at those prices, you shouldn't be lying with a stomach ache for several days afterwards. The Danish Food Authority should probably pay a visit, because something is not quite right.
