28/09/2025: Awesome cafe with great coffee and great books

27/09/2025: We were three Zealand students on a Jutland course and had two unplanned hours in Vejle before the train home. We spent them here, with fantastically sweet service and lovely coffee :)

30/11/2025: Aesthetic was wonderful and the people were too. I can’t however give more than 3 stars to a specialty coffee place that asks “what size, small medium or large” when someone orders a flat white or cappuccino. There is no such thing. A flat white is 5-6 ounces. A cappuccino is the same.

22/10/2025: Placed reasonably close to the busy touristy centre, I wanted to find a decent place to eat i.e. somewhere authentic and not there to rip tourists off. Found Amalie near the palace. Lovely little place with a good menu and lovely staff -> all very engaging and happy to talk in fluent English (we did try a bit of Danish but it's a tough language). We had a couple of beers which were gorgeous and smorrebrod and a chicken salad, both fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

01/01/2026: We ordered food for New Year's Eve. I think they had prepared the food too long in advance (we picked it up at 12:15). The rice was completely dry and the fish had taken on a dull appearance. It was a shame! I've had sushi in the supermarket that tasted better.

23/12/2025: Dinner at Bistro Boheme was… an experience. And not in a good way. We walked in and stood there unnoticed while several staff members saw us and chose silence. Eventually a slightly confused maître d’ showed us to our table. Waiter asked us if we wanted water after maybe 30 minutes, took our food order after closer to 40. The explanation? “It was chaos earlier, you should be happy you arrived now when it's slowed down” If you run a restaurant of this size, managing service is not optional. The lobster bisque turned out to be an onion soup with absolutely no lobster. We were told the lobster is removed because “Danes don’t like lobster in soup, so we throw it away” Then it shouldn’t be called a lobster bisque. The smoked salmon was fine. The grilled steak and pepper sauce were good. But being offered red wine only after we’d eaten a quarter of the main course is basic service failure. Overall, it felt overpriced and underdelivered. A decent steak is easy to find. This experience was not. Won’t be returning.

31/10/2025: Have been twice now, delicious food, fantastic friendly and polite service, cozy atmosphere, good acoustics. Very satisfied.

27/08/2025: Have had dinner with you for a couple of years in a row, the starter and side dishes for the main course and not least the dessert were super delicious, but the meat both years was the best meat I have ever had, I would recommend that another supplier be found for meat. But I will come again and again, the serving ladies are really lovely, as well as a lovely atmosphere Mvh

10/08/2025: Timeout in Helsinge is simply a gem! The atmosphere is always warm and cozy, and the service is top notch – you really feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. The food is absolutely fantastic, always freshly prepared and full of flavor. In fact, it is so good that every Sunday I make the trip all the way from Hellerup with my friends just to enjoy a delicious meal here. Timeout is without a doubt worth the trip – every time!

23/11/2025: The food was okay, not real Thai food really. Difficult menu, barely understood anything. Noise complaints. Took this restaurant because of. Rating. Shouldn't have its stars at all. Many misses. Pornstar martini was completely wrong for 120 Danish kroner. They did it in their "way" when we pointed out. Then they write it on the menu, right???? One of the party got metal in their food, a whole piece of metal!? She then got 50 percent off for that dish and a new plate of food, but still?? Really bad treatment and nonchalant. Took a long time with the food and that price. They forgot some party food too. One pointed out that she wasn't happy with the drink because it wasn't good at all. The waiter just took it, looked angry and left, didn't say a word?? No service at all?? Most of it was wrong actually. The guy who held the door was at least nice and smiled. The environment was good but a lot of improvements were needed from this restaurant. Even the bill was completely wrong and we got another party's bill. Disaster, one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Regards From a real Thai

20/10/2025: We’re visitors from Malaysia, and we absolutely loved our experience at Sason Kebab & Pizzahouse! The food was awesome — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s such a relief to find delicious halal options while traveling, and this place exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, tasty halal food in town. We’ll definitely come back again! 🇲🇾❤️🍕🥙

20/09/2025: Go there every time we are in Hirtshals. Good meat, Pizza and Kebab dishes. Season has both take away and dining.
