30/12/2025: The female server with braided hair treated me with clear racial bias. She ignored my polite greeting, rushed me to order, and responded to a simple request to view the wine menu again with a rude 'WHAT? What made this unacceptable was seeing her moments later smiling warmly and engaging politely with the neighboring table. The contrast was unmistakable. This is not a matter of bad service, but unequal treatment based on skin color. In contrast, the staff member with large hoop earrings and the gentleman at the counter were genuinely kind and professional. The lady clearly needs proper training. Her behavior was two-faced and deeply unprofessional.

10/06/2026: We ate there for the first time this evening based on the many positive reviews. The food wasn't bad, but nothing special either. We felt the prices were very high. With a bill of around €300 for three people, we felt we could certainly expect more. Unfortunately, we didn't feel truly welcome as guests. A certain unfriendliness was noticeable throughout our visit. Furthermore, the drinks and food were served carelessly and literally slammed onto the table. We would have liked to try dessert. However, we had to get the dessert menu ourselves. Despite several attempts to make eye contact with the staff, we weren't given the opportunity to order. After waiting for about 20 minutes, we finally paid and left the restaurant. We have been coming to Blåvand for many years and would have liked to expand our local restaurant selection. Unfortunately, this restaurant will not be among them in the future. Instead, we will continue to visit the other good restaurants in the area, where friendliness, service and value for money are a much better match for us.

06/07/2026: This is the place I always go to if I just want a good coffee and a BMO. I am always greeted with a smile and enthusiasm, and it just feels cozy and local that you are greeted when you walk past - and that the employees even remember what I usually order. I also have the impression that there are quite a few regular customers :-) I think it's great that computer people have to sit by the window (I've done that myself, and it works fine). And there are almost always cute dogs in there - SO cozy. Just a big recommendation from here ☀️

06/07/2026: We stopped by Masken Bar on a Thursday because we wanted to experience the place, but our first impression was unfortunately not the best. When we entered, there were several guests sitting at the bar, who looked at us a lot, and the bartender looked up and down briefly without welcoming us. This made us feel not particularly welcome, and the atmosphere became a bit awkward for us. Therefore, we chose to move on without ordering anything.
