De bedste restauranter

29/10/2025: I have visited Espresso House in Rødovre on several occasions and have always been satisfied with the visit. However, on October 16 this year, we were seated at the entrance to the kitchen. There is a ramp to the kitchen for the staff to drive their carts in. I sat in a corner near the kitchen. When I got up to go and buy more drinks, I tripped with my left foot on this ramp, which you have to step over to get out and it hurt like hell. I later asked them to block that seat so that no one else would have to trip on the ramp. I am unsure whether the staff has taken my complaint further. My left foot turned both blue and yellow and now today it is red. I had to see a doctor, get a bandage and take painkillers. Luckily, it was not a fracture. I live in Stockholm and go to Espresso House here in Stockholm almost daily.

27/08/2025: The coffee is like the coffee in Espresso House. No complaints. But the place is severely understaffed - always. You can stand for a long time and wait in vain for service, while busy clerks make... coffee for online orders? Something else?

07/10/2025: Excellent bread for the price. A bit annoying when the bread I want is sold out.

28/09/2025: Not impressed, you can understand why more bakeries are closing, with the quality you get here :-(

05/08/2025: The restaurant area was far too small for a buffet restaurant, there wasn't much room to walk around and you were sitting too close to other guests. There was really a lack of variety in the buffet, which wasn't replenished regularly enough. Just overpriced for the buffet and especially the drinks.

24/06/2025: Unfortunately, this is the worst 670kr. our family has ever spent at a buffet restaurant :-( We should have ‘turned around’ when we saw that the restaurant was COMPLETELY empty when we arrived - that’s always a good indicator of staying away. The few dishes that were there seemed old and possibly reheated several times. There were NO vegetables in the dishes, I found a bit of carrot and another undefinable vegetable in one dish. Their sushi smelled SO bad of old fish that I forbade our girls from eating it! We would have 200% probably gotten sick from it! You could then choose some meat and vegetables yourself and have them fried by the chef, which we tried. Here too, the beef had a strange aftertaste. Both my husband and I have a strange feeling in our stomachs after our visit. In conclusion, is it perhaps also “overpriced” to charge 78kr. for a large cola? Or is it just us? … Ouch, we would have liked to have saved that money :’-(

05/06/2026: Without a doubt the best apple slices I've ever tried. Their coffee was the boring kind from a vending machine. The apple cake was a bit genderless. Nice staff, but the tables hadn't been wiped down recently.

11/06/2026: Lousy takeaway 15 min wait time

10/06/2026: Food was cold. Even the fresh milkshake felt warm. Waited a long time (over 10 minutes)

12/04/2026: I ordered two meals and I received two bowls of rice. When I made a complaint I was refunded the meals but still had to pay for the rice and the kitchen closed. So all I had for dinner tonight was rice. Very disappointing.

23/01/2026: We asked for one song so that we could dance. The bartender was so rude and did not respond in a Good Way. This was at 03.00 at night and not so much people, so I don’t think there would be many others asking for a song. Anyways I think that playing some requests would be nice.

01/05/2026: They are open when they want and don't answer the phone when you call! We will find another place to buy Thai in the future.

21/04/2026: I had a really bad experience when I went to pick up dinner the other day. First I was greeted by an unengaged and half-hearted clerk. After clearly asking for “red curry”, we waited 20 minutes just to be shoved two pad thai in the head. We explained to them that we had ordered something else, and it is not because their attitude gets better from there. After waiting another 20 minutes, they even asked us to pay 28kr extra, because it costs red curry. We now get the real food shoved into our hands, but without a bag, and it would have been nice if they could then close the lid properly, but they can’t do that either. This resulted in grease stains and sauce on my clothes, which I can’t get out of the wash. All in all, an incredibly bad experience at pad thai stenløse

24/10/2025: I was really happy to order food from them until I got seriously ill with severe stomach poisoning to such an extent that I was hospitalized. I got seriously ill after a salad pizza with chicken. Since that experience I have not ordered from there again and it has been several months now.

20/10/2025: Very angry older man takes orders, he can't smile, he's good at whining, at least not service-minded. The food is as expected at a "hot dog stand". Won't go there again because of the angry man.

18/06/2026: I have ordered here through Wolt a couple of times but I will not do it anymore. 3 times I experienced only some items from my order arrived!

12/06/2026: I do not recommend this place if you don’t want to get food poisoning. Yesterday, one of my biggest fears came true — and it happened here, because McDonald’s was the only meal I had that day. I’m now lying in bed with a fever, suffering, and I don’t think I’ll ever set foot in a McDonald’s again. I really hope the management takes action on this, because it’s absolutely terrible.

08/03/2026: We were four people - and had been looking forward to a good experience! It wasn't. There is no reasonable relationship between price and quality - not to mention quantity. ONLY visit Dauphine if you are NOT hungry. In particular, the main course was smaller than expected or a child's portion. with COLD small pieces of Jerusalem artichokes. The squash course tasted bad - to my taste. The dessert tasted good - but the lentil base was poor and probably bought in a supermarket. Dear Dauphine: I don't think you can be familiar with it. Not at all harmony between price, quantity and quality. Regretted we had driven almost 200 km - to visit you regards. peder kirkeby

21/02/2026: Had read the good reviews and chose Dauphine for our trip out to the Aarhus food scene in connection with Dining Week. Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by the need to rush through, and that the chosen menu should be easy to reheat and serve. The starter was not balanced - large temperature differences between the cold and the hot on the plate, the main ingredient, a "salmon terrine" of some kind, had not been out of the fridge long enough. The main course was unacceptably small, but otherwise tasty. The dessert was quite ok. But again, the feeling that it was just a matter of serving pre-cooked food prepared for the hordes permeated the experience. Unfortunately, the service was not good either. We were received by a man who was clearly not used to being in the restaurant (kitchen?), he barely said hello, did not point out a wardrobe in the somewhat narrow space, was not present and was in a hurry to move on, could not advise on a simple level regarding the choice of wine, "it was a white wine", no one ever asked if it tasted good or if it was satisfactory, no one came and asked if the drinks needed to be refilled, a woman suddenly came and cleared the table and reached over us without a single expression, no words, no one said what was going to happen next (pre-ordered 3-course menu). We approached the serious draft from the window facing the street, where we were sitting right up and down. The winter weather was really taking hold, but we asked nicely if it was possible to get another table, because it was raw cold for the legs to sit up against a leaky window at full height. It was swept away pretty quickly without making an impression. I don't usually write reviews, and am usually pretty generous as long as people make an effort and/or are nice and friendly, and the food is reasonable, but the whole experience just wasn't good and we couldn't finish fast enough. We won't be coming here again, although a regular a la carte evening is probably a different experience.

23/05/2026: Tasteless food, ordered fish fillet with potatoes instead of fries. Got 2 tasteless old fish with potatoes without taste. The remoulade sauce had no taste either. The salad you got consisted of 1/8 tomato, i.e. a small piece of tomato and a small piece of pepper, the rest was salad leftovers. Ugh no thanks never again. Waste of money!

16/03/2026: We treated ourselves to potato soup with bacon – the soup of the day. Very tasty, well-seasoned, and homemade.

27/05/2025: Really good sushi, fresh and not too long a wait from ordering to delivery.

25/04/2025: One of my goto-sushi joint that I frequently visit. Lot to be said. The Sushi is really good. Needs a tad more attentive waiter. Havent tried their ramen yet. Only dining for Sushi here. The ambience inside the restaurant is good. Good place for takeaway as well. Snacks included in the bag. Well done. Will come here again.
