13/12/2025: Arriving in Reffen after the summer season but before winter hits meant it wasn't too busy, so I got my order in at Cheesy Dreams without queuing. I went for the duck confit sandwich with waffle fries, both with hot raclette cheese. The sandwich was fine, with a decent portion of duck inside a thick roll of bread, but the flavours were a little muted. The waffle fries were good, but tasted like they could have come from any decent frozen pack. Cooked perfectly though, and, of course, drowning in hot raclette cheese. It was all perfectly good, but stopped short of 'wow'. The price was a wow moment, though. There are no surprises, as the prices are very clearly laid out — I knew what I was getting into — and yes, Copenhagen is pricey, but £29 for the above stung a little!

07/06/2026: I'm only rating the service because unfortunately we didn't get any further. The lady brought us the menu and then no one paid any attention to us. The restaurant was empty and there were about 5 people standing behind the bar 🤷‍♀️So we left after a while

13/05/2026: Take-away food was poorly cooked, badly packed, and overpriced. I paid for a kebab and got fries with meat on top - no salad, no napkins, nothing. Wrapped in aluminium foil and stuffed into a box that didn’t even fit. Never again. 👎 Update! I decided to give this place another chance after my previous bad experience and this time we ate inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, the first impression was not great. As soon as we walked in, we were asked quite abruptly whether we wanted takeaway or dine-in, and after saying we would eat there, we were told to grab the menus ourselves from behind us. The service afterwards was decent, though, and we did not wait long for the food. To be fair, the food was actually good this time and much better than during my previous visit. However, the restroom was absolutely disgusting - dirty and without soap, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. On top of that, once we got home and checked the receipt properly, we noticed we had been charged for an item we never ordered. Since we paid by card, we did not realize it immediately, but it honestly left us feeling tricked. My advice: always check your receipt before paying.

28/05/2026: I was there with my 3 friends yesterday I was really satisfied with the food and service. The lamb curry was the best among the all and also they made fresh mango lassi which was also really tasty. Highly recommended and good value for money

08/06/2026: Me and my family love their family pizzas especially their kebab pizza we all think it's the best kebab pizza we've ever tasted we always order it. And the atmosphere is always very good and everyone is very nice. And of course we love when you get some lollipops with it🍭🥰 10/10

17/05/2026: I bought a durum with kebab, the bread was cold and dry, there was a lot of bread in relation to the content, not much meat :(

10/05/2026: The pizzas had far too little. The bacon was barely cooked and the mushrooms were raw. Not bad for a pizza for 95 kr.

16/10/2025: We got 2 pitas they were extremely soggy and almost unbaked with lots of dressing a little kebab and a little salad. We couldn't eat them. Called and told them it was our taste that was the problem. We will never do it again

09/01/2026: Very bad food, cleaned with the same gloves he uses to touch food. Stacking/building a kebab is something he has never tried and eating his own from. The point is, it's a mix of food and not kebab greens, just 6 pieces of salad. God, how bad was it?

16/10/2025: The 3 stars are mostly due to the young man who served us very professionally. Sushi was ok.

13/10/2025: I have eaten at least 8 times at this place, although it has not been a pleasant experience every time. Once we sat outside and it started raining and there were no tables available inside that we could move to. Another time it took a long time to get the food. About a month ago I booked a table for 6 people and the reservation was confirmed. Then I got a call saying they had no tables available. Anyway, we gave the place another chance yesterday and called and booked a table for 2 people. I mentioned what had happened the previous time and immediately I received 5 text messages confirming the reservation. Very rude. We arrived and I was recognized by the waiter and we had a friendly chat. However, while we were eating, the waiter approached us to ask an offensive question, I just wanted to leave and without finishing our meal we paid and left. He completely overstepped the bounds. I don't think I'll be going back to that restaurant again, which is really far from where I live.

25/01/2026: Well I got far from what I had ordered and paid for. I order food online from the website and pay, after which I get a call saying that one of my orders cannot be chosen independently but must be purchased with a starter. Fair enough I ask for a soda instead and otherwise look forward to my food coming so we can have some dinner at home. When the food finally arrives I have to admit that even food at a crappy gas station outside Vojens would not disappoint me more than what we got. First of all, the soda that was supposed to replace a paid product was missing, the rice for one dish was missing and then the food was close to tasteless. Spring rolls, shrimp and chicken skewers tasted pretty much the same. All from bad frying oil. The spring rolls were chosen for a VEGETARIAN but packed in the same tray as the chicken and shrimp. For the missing items we had ordered and paid for we were offered a quote that could come with them later. So the dish I had in my hand, the accompanying rice could be delivered 30 minutes later :-) it was no thanks for soda, rice and ONE free dish next time. No gift certificate, no email saying so - just me standing there claiming I had a free dish to eat. It was also no thanks, not even for free can I get to eat such poor food again

13/06/2026: Simply unreasonably bad service. We contact to ask if there are vegan dishes in their buffet. We get a rude answer that they don't take any allergens into account at all, so that's how it is. After an unbearable conversation with the world's least service-minded employee, they come to the conclusion that they already have two salads in the buffet that are vegan. Come on! It's amateurish and completely below par in a company with such a high profile. Better luck next time, Moesgaard. It's disappointing!

06/04/2026: Nice premises, but stop, where are they going with the price? Unfortunately I got a sugar-free soda instead of what I ordered, what a nasty response I got when I pointed it out. I would recommend buying food somewhere else

14/03/2026: I have worked remotely from this cafe a few times as it is local for my kids’ schools. Service and coffee/food is ok but this place is very dirty and not well maintained. The floors and tables are not clean and the bathroom is filthy — plus scarily there was no water to wash hands in the bathroom on my last visit! This place needs management attention. It’s not up to standards of other Lagkagehusets.

14/05/2026: Pork roast sandwich - it's a slog. The bread should be crispy and not soft. The bun seemed like the cheapest one from the supermarket, the red cabbage was good. Smile at the customers and learn how to make really good Danish pork roast.
