18/07/2025: Staying here was a wonderful experience for me. At first, I couldn’t find the hotel because the name had changed to Motel1, which was a bit confusing, but I asked around and confirmed that it was the right place. There was a small issue with the door in my room, and when I mentioned it, they immediately gave me a better room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you so much!

26/06/2024: Mig og min gamle mor på 89 år, var på tur til Vejle fra Odense. Jeg på cykel, og min
mor med toget. Vi spiste på restauranten ca. kl. 19.00 d. 11/4-2024. Vi fik en dobbeltburger-menu, med ekstra pommes frites. Min mor var ikke så sulten, så hun fik frites. Helt igennem top-burger, som smagte fantastisk. Også fint interiør, og gode siddepladser, hvor man sidder komfortabelt. Min mor skulle med tog kl. 20.05 fra Vejle,
og jeg skulle cykel til Middelfart. Men burgeren var åbenbart så fyldt med proteiner, at
jeg kunne cykle hele vejen fra Vejle til Odense. Til Vollsmose, Odense NØ.

Indbygget vin skab i glas for ende af lokalet, giver et spændende look i nydelsen af restauranten.
Levede fuldt op til forventningerne.
Og sikken et view der er ud over København, muligheden for at se København på den måde er fascinerende.
24/05/2025: Absolutamente increíble experiencia. Nuestro camarero conocía el menú de adentro hacia afuera y más allá. Recomendó una excelente selección de vinos. Servicio increíble y comida deliciosa. Tenía el solomillo canadiense, probablemente el mejor filete que he probado en años. Las ostras estaban súper frescas y deliciosas. Sabrosos cócteles. El ambiente era bueno, mucho espacio dentro del restaurante. Este es sin duda un lugar al que volveré de nuevo.

06/11/2023: OH NO!!! The place is closed, and immediately declared bankrupt? I have been coming here for many many years, a couple of times a month and followed you from Venus in the old days. It makes me sad that you are now closing, after so many years :(
I don't know which Indian place will now be able to fill your place. I hope you open something new one day somewhere else, and I will make it known. so I can follow you to the new place. :) ( I will take the car )
A legendary place in Valby/Frederiksberg is now closed. I wish you all the best in the future, and thank you for the many years of delicious food. :)
12/09/2023: God, I miss this place. I kind of used to go to this place every week during my time in Denmark. People and food are amazing over there. They play desi music.
They have starters, naan, various chicken and lamb and veg curries. They do have biriyani and sweet pulao rice as well.
Make sure to walk in Frederiksberg gardens park to burn out some calaroies after having such a good and heavy meal 😄.

11/12/2023: We were going to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service from what I assume is the owner was apathetic. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the impression that we were a nuisance by coming. We certainly won't bother organizing anything there again. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be a little "afraid" of her. At one point she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. That's not a particularly good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called the café to see if we could use our smartbox at their place. Our smartbox was for brunch for 2 people. We were told by an employee on the phone that it was valid for both people and that we could just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we had eaten and were going over to "pay", they suddenly wanted us to pay 189 kr for the food. My boyfriend and I said that we had called and were told that the smartbox was valid for both of us. So we did not want to pay. After some time of discussing with the employees, we were allowed to leave without paying anything else.
It's a shame that it will ruin our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that café.

01/10/2025: We were there this afternoon for coffee and cake and enjoyed the beautiful weather on the large terrace. The staff first brought water for our dogs, which I really appreciated. The service itself was incredibly friendly and in a good mood. There was always someone nearby without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and we also loved the atmosphere. We'd love to come back next time we visit Skagen.
08/09/2025: Friendly service, including a water bowl for the dog. The food wasn't cheap, and the portions were relatively small, but very tasty. We highly recommend it!

07/08/2025: This restaurant, once known as Ella’s Konditori and famed for its traditional dishes like wienerschnitzel, has been completely reimagined. Thanks to the passion of four incredibly enthusiastic owners, Simon, Ludvig, Malthe, and Max, and the help of many talented friends, it has blossomed into one of the most exciting Italian restaurants I’ve experienced in Denmark.
Today, the focus is purely on pasta, with three main courses to choose from. Don’t let the limited menu fool you, each dish is so well-crafted that even something you might usually pass over elsewhere becomes a revelation here. Every bite is a journey through layers of flavors, perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying.
Portion sizes might seem modest at first glance, but the food is rich and hearty, especially if you opt for the menu including a starter and dessert. Everything is handmade, and I was lucky enough to peek into the kitchen and watch as each pasta screw was hand-rolled. They go to great lengths to source locally, sometimes even foraging for wild garlic near Hammersø in the spring.
Reservations are highly recommended. We were fortunate to get a table as walk-ins, but saw several people turned away. This is a “please wait to be seated” restaurant, and the cozy atmosphere makes it worth the wait. The space retains the charm of its past, with beautiful old trees and a tranquil fish pond from the original Konditori.
If you’re willing to swap “brun sovs og kartofler” for some of the finest pasta in the country, this spot is a must-visit. It’s a heartfelt, flavor-packed experience and I can’t recommend it enough. Bravo to Simon, Ludvig, Malthe, and Max for creating something truly special!
01/08/2025: Although the café is almost empty in the afternoon, passersby are not accepted... only with a prior reservation, which is not mentioned in the opening hours...

22/08/2024: Service was good, BUT our food was served on the wrong table next to 2 Swedish men - only after a while did they get in touch with the waitress, after which she fetched plates and AGAIN served the same dish at our table - was out on business and didn't want to make a scene BUT - THAT'S NOT RIGHT! Cold dry-roasted beef tenderloin that was ordered medium rare, served with dried-out hard-fried potatoes - knowledgeable young waitress who came with good insight about the wines BUT all in all a "We haven't been there again experience!"

18/11/2024: I have to admit that we left the restaurant disappointed. The food: The menu says nothing about the dish, to say the least - I chose liver with plum, and was served 2 ultra-small tartlets with liver pâté and plum jam. From the menu, I chose the main course Ravioli with Sage and Cheese, and was served an excellent serving of 5-7 ravioli, where pumpkin was the dominant flavor. The waiter said that you should have 2 dishes to be full - I would say 4-5 dishes so as not to leave the table hungry. Fortunately, there was plenty of bread that tasted really good.
Price: The cheapest red wine on the wine list cost 500kr, and the dishes were SMALL - you pay for both water and bread in addition to the food.
03/11/2024: Let it be said right away. Copenhagen's sourdough level is towering, and it is as such that I approach my review. After a long time, I finally had the opportunity to stop by and test their bread. We are at the bottom of the Copenhagen Top. Il buco's sourdough lacks acidity, sweetness in the crust, and springiness. And then the bread is too chewy, which gives an unsatisfactory bite. And then there is no crunch and crystals in the crust. Disappointing level. Get control of the parameters. Right now it's a flat farming experience and it's boring. A gray weather experience.
