07/08/2026: Super good place, can definitely recommend their Fried Pork with parsley sauce, we got new potatoes. Was eminently good. The pork was not dry, the potatoes cooked just right. And then there is pork ad libitum. Plus a fantastic, sweet and friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

14/06/2026: Visited for lunch. Quaint cafe with good coffee and decent sandwiches. Did note a 3.75% 'credit card fee' added to my total after my card was swiped.

14/10/2025: We came here for lunch and had several dishes, both savory and sweet, which were delicious. The homemade coffees and juices were just as good, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it!

03/08/2026: Okay, but nothing particularly special. Plenty of seating (outside in summer), mostly under awnings; generous portions, but also typical Copenhagen prices. The word "cafe" in the name is a bit misleading; it's more of a restaurant/bar/cafe.

30/08/2026: I came across this place while looking for a bistro on the way... Nice surprise. Large selection of typical Danish sandwiches - salmon, shrimp, roast beef. I recommend it.

25/08/2026: Food is good, could be better. Lacks a bit of flavor and servings are small. I recommend the stracciatella with the bread and pair it with some drinks. They have a good beer, cocktails are a bit sweet, but wide range of wine options to choose from. The view is the best part here, specially at sunset - the view of the lake and the trees is worth visiting at least once. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. They have vegetarian options, fixed course meals and normal menu.

06/09/2025: A quick trip back in time. Almost all of the rides are powered by electricity and have seen better days. They probably saw them back in the 1970s. But it's still a child-friendly park that will make children's eyes light up.

15/07/2026: Great service and food. Djengis was a super nice waiter. Can't remember the others' names, but they were also amazing. One waiter was from Albania, she was super nice too.

11/06/2026: Event with work, where the menu was predetermined. However, we are served a different menu than planned. No consideration is given to the fact that we are pregnant women who are not allowed to have tartar and raw meat. A little over an hour passes between each serving because it is overbooked and there was too much noise, so you could not talk. It was a very bad experience.

25/05/2026: I have been coming here for many years and have always been satisfied with the concept and the quality in relation to the price. However, I had to delete my old review, which was previously good. There used to be always free delicious bread and butter – you can no longer get that without a purchase. The menu was also previously more varied with the option of several side orders, which is no longer available either. I actually think it is fine to minimize the menu if it means greater focus on quality, but unfortunately the quality of everything we got was so poor that after many years of visiting it will be goodbye from here. We ordered a starter of cold smoked salmon. The portion was very small in relation to the price, the dish was bland and honestly tasted of nothing. Then we got a steak ordered medium. Even after the third try, it was still cooked through, even though the second time I specifically asked for medium rare. I therefore thought that the chef might at least be able to hit medium – but unfortunately not. I was also a little embarrassed by the food waste we were creating, as the side dishes also had to be reheated several times to be warm with the steak. After the third try, we gave up and said we would just eat it, even though it was still cooked through. Unfortunately, the meat was of such poor quality that you really didn't want to eat it. The waiters were nice and did what they could, but the place unfortunately shows signs of decline and generally poor quality. The restaurant didn't seem particularly nice or well-maintained, the terrace was no longer as cozy as it used to be, and the overall experience gradually reminded me more of Jensens Bøfhus. Unfortunately, I won't be back, as the quality has clearly disappeared.

04/08/2026: Quality is improving the burgers are good orders arrive fast. The food you receive is correct, but fries were undercooked and pale.

29/07/2026: When we got to the restaurant, the ordering machines were broken. So we went to the cash register to order. The lady behind the cash register completely ignored us even though the restaurant was almost empty and there was no one there. We were the only ones who were supposed to order food. Then a younger man came in, he also couldn't take an order. When the third person came in and didn't take our order either, we went to McDonalds. Tip: McDonalds is located nearby and had very nice service.

02/07/2026: Played with my then band at Rust in the late summer of '96. A really nice place even then. Haven't been there since then, but will visit in August.

23/06/2026: The food is amazing I got a child pizza but this child pizzas or the size of insanely big big and it's not that expensive for how big it is it's insane I loved it
