10/12/2025: Lovely hotel, which was perfect for our mother's 75th birthday, where we were about 50 guests, most of whom stayed overnight. Food and wine are good and as expected for the price. Lovely cheap accommodation in connection with a party. Where the hotel really stands out is at the wine bar, which is fantastic. Large quality selection at fair prices. In addition, the breakfast is also much better than I am used to at most hotels. The icing on the cake would have been better coffee, but it was okay. The rooms are standard, a bit worn, but lovely beds and generally as it should be. I can recommend having a party here - especially in winter, when you don't have to go out anyway, as the location is very uninteresting.

It is a place where quality, fresh ingredients and good service go hand in hand, and where you always feel welcome. One of the first things you notice is the fresh ingredients. Whether you choose a sandwich, a salad or a burger, you can taste that there is no compromise on quality. The sandwiches are filling, the bread is delicious, the vegetables are crispy, and the homemade dressings and pesto give it all an extra boost. There is also the option of putting together your own salad, and it is a big plus that the selection is varied and follows the season. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Even though it is a smaller place, it feels inviting, and you are greeted with a smile and friendly service. The staff is helpful and takes time for the customers, which makes a big difference. I am particularly impressed by how stable the quality is. Every time I've visited Sundwich, the food has been fresh, beautifully presented and made with care. It's the kind of place you can safely recommend to friends and family. The prices are also very reasonable in relation to the quality and portion sizes you get. You leave feeling full and satisfied, and it's clear that the place prioritizes good ingredients over quick shortcuts. It's also great that the menu offers something for most people. Whether you're after a classic sandwich, a fresh salad, a juicy burger or a vegetarian alternative, there are good choices. Sundwich is proof that a smaller local eatery can easily deliver a high-level dining experience. The combination of fresh ingredients, tasty food, good service and a cozy atmosphere means that I always leave with a positive experience. If you're in Frederikssund and want a good lunch or a delicious takeaway meal, I can highly recommend Sundwich. 09/08/2026: I bought a Bearnaise Burger for dinner for 99kr, and ate indoors. When I received it, it didn't look like much and I was right. The bun was pre-bought and dry, there was minimal amount of bearnaise/way too much mayo and the bacon was chewy. The only plus I can give to the burger was that the steak tasted grilled, which I'm a fan of. Overall, you can easily enjoy a meal here, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary.

01/11/2026: The food was burnt black on the crust, lukewarm inside, almost inedible, the waitress could hardly understand what we were saying and not the other way around, the table and chairs were tilting so had to be careful that the drinks and whatever else was on the table didn't fall over, so yeah! Let's put it this way, we've been there 3 times, first, only and last time! Bad experience, the waiter who served it also saw how burnt it was, and tried to say in a way that it was really burnt, but was too young to take action, really disappointed 😞

26/10/2026: A great place with a great atmosphere and fantastic pizza. Always busy, but always with time for the customers.

09/09/2026: Old-school Danish cuisine. Food was good and service too. It's a meeting spot for the local hunter's club.

07/09/2026: A truly authentic restaurant. Very cozy and lots of fun old things on display. Extremely friendly and pleasant service. I only got 2 pieces of cheese food, a regular one and an old cheese with fat onion and rum. Both really delicious. Definitely not the last time I've been there.

18/07/2025: Favourite bar in Amagerbro. Gin hass is great and so reasonably priced. Bartenders are lovely. Cozy, great jazz music, just a wonderful time with friends. Miss it here

26/09/2026: Service was good, we ordered chicken kekab, when it came the food was barely lukewarm and the chicken was from the freezer it was not fried as you normally do, we asked for a replacement without any problems - but the next one the same result. Not a place we will return to.

21/09/2026: We celebrated here our wedding dinner with a number of 25 people including two children: simply amazing restaurant and concept. There's plenty of tasty food for all tastes and types of diets. Also the open drinking bar is a good solution for such events were alcoholic drinks are expected. The location is very nice, has two levels and the restaurant took care of placing all of us in an area were although was not private (they don't count with a private room) was quiet and felt intimate. We were able to decorate a little our tables and area were we sat. It was simply an amazing not so expensive and practical place to celebrate our wedding dinner with all our beloved guests. We don't live in Denmark and the booking of this place was all done online and per telephone. Uncomplicated. I can't thank enough the Foodclub team for this lovely evening. They helped us in building a memory that will last forever. 💯 Recommended.

11/09/2026: We are a party of 12 people and we came in to a good atmosphere and fantastic service. The waiters were helpful and skilled in meeting our needs. Definitely recommended for larger parties

13/10/2026: On our last night in Copenhagen after a very long travel day, we stumbled across the best little local restaurant. It had authentic charm and the food was delicious. I had the schnitzel and my boyfriend had a seafood extravaganza that had caviar, various fish and shellfish. We both enjoyed very much. The waitress was amazing and actually took our postcards and mailed them for us when she got off. I think her name is Marianna or something like that. She was really nice. Close to the airport, so if you are ever on a layover, it’s a treat beyond airport food
