09/02/2025: Charlottehaven fitness Gone from a 5 star experience to a 3 star in a matter of months. Opened up to way too many people, pool is now overcrowded, removed the squash area, removed health benefitting machines such as the sled, added a bunch of weight benches instead and gimmick machines (egym) which forces you to pay an extra 150,- and stops you from doing more than one set before you have to change machine. Place is turning into poor and average instead of the upscale gym it used to be.

27/12/2024: Stylishly decorated, a friendly and attentive waitress, and overall a delicious dinner! We were there for the first time and had tenderloin steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was beautifully presented. The fries were delicious and crispy. Our absolute highlight was the mushroom sauce. It made you want to lick your plate 😍

18/12/2024: We celebrated our daughter's birthday for the family, and had the adjacent 'lounge/mini-party room' to ourselves. It was decorated super nicely and we felt very welcome. The service was sublime and the food really good. Huge, huge recommendation from here! We will definitely be back :-)

05/03/2024: I am indian and so far this is the best indian restaurant in copenhagen Best items are tomato soup n daal curry ( I’m vegetarian) We kept coming back to this restaurant since last 3 years and now it is temporarily closed, very sad Please open soon

29/10/2023: Super yummy! Excellent Indian food. Delicious and flavorful. We enjoyed a lot these spicy flavors. Great place and a very interesting price.

14/07/2025: I’m devastated by the news that Høvlen is no-more, and that it got bought up by investors from Reffen street food. This iconic place lasted 135 years. Thanks Iben for some real hygge. And of course not forget Buster 🐾. Hope to see Høvlen getting back to what it was, but for now, I’m scared it will turn into some juice-bar.

27/08/2025: They were talking about how much I dipped in my mayonnaise, how much chili I put in the pita bread. The pita bread was fine until I got to the bottom. I think there was kebab in it, and I had ordered it with chicken.

Please promise that you will stick to the high quality food you deliver and not compromise on the sizes. We will buy food from you every single day if this can be fulfilled in the future. Thank you for really really good food! We ordered via Wolt by the way. If you can go full organic in the future and sign this, it is 100 out of 100 stars!

04/02/2024: I'd say this is an average sushi restaurant. I wouldn't rank it among the best ones I've ever tried, but I still enjoyed it. It's just that the sushi was missing something, as if it wasn't super fresh. Besides this, it didn't look like they have any special items on the menu, rather than what you would practically find in any single sushi restaurant. However, they do have quite some types of menus, that can suit you depending on the hunger level. The place is quite welcoming, and the lady that was serving us was really careful to meet all our needs. Given the affordable prices, if you're searching for a decent enough sushi to satisfy your craving without crazy high expectations, this is good enough. The sushi boat we ordered was looking good. Furthermore, during the week there's almost no one eating in, as most people as far as I understood from the staff is going for take away.

05/10/2025: This is probably the last time I buy anything from here. I have now experienced several times that the overpriced open sandwiches are old and hard. The quality in no way reflects the price.

19/05/2025: Semi-stale open sandwiches - the outer layer of remoulade on my fish was completely dark yellow - it had been sitting for many hours. When I buy a piece of open sandwiches for DKK 125,-, I expect it to be fresh.

07/06/2025: Bought a cake for 120 kr where the cream was separated and it tasted dry as if it was several days old. The young employee did not know anything about the cake or its ingredients. The quality for this bakery is far too low.

04/06/2025: They bake the best sourdough bread with caraway. They must be ordered before 12 noon on Thursday for pick up on Friday. They are the only breads we care to eat because they are 5 ☆☆☆☆☆, so why eat anything else? Their cakes are also ok, at least the two we have tasted. Most of the reviews are from the previous baker, so try it for yourself.

25/09/2023: The place is pretty nice and the service was decent but that's where it ends. The waiter didn't ask anyone in our company how we wanted our meat. You would think that that would mean we would all get the steak the same which normally is medium rare. Well some where medium rare, some where medium, some where well done... Mine was well done so i complained and got something that actually was perfectly medium rare, but to the steak I also got a bearnaise that was so separated that the cook must be blind in order to send that out and I wasn't the only one who got this attempt at a bearnaise. This I didn't complain about because if a chef and the waiter can't even see that that sauce should never have been sent out then complaining about would not help with getting a prober bearnaise. The starter and the dessert was good but with such a disaster as the main course and considering that the prices are expensive compared to what I got they can't get more than 2 stars.
