23/09/2025: Last Friday I ate at Restaurant Østergade in Randers with a friend. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed non-alcoholic rhubarb juice with soda and a carafe of tap water. The juice tasted just as good as my mother-in-law's homemade rhubarb juice, and in a large wine glass. The muted colors gave an atmosphere of calm and relaxation. The restaurant was well-visited and the staff were nice and made an effort to give us a thoroughly wonderful dining experience. Next time I will try their apple ginger juice, and the wonderful dish with game that my friend had. I couldn't resist the fish dish with risotto.

27/09/2025: For the price, the sandwich had almost no filling. I chose salmon, and got 2 thin slices. The bread was the cheapest flute you can find on the market. The service was ok, but not particularly engaged. The place itself has terrible acoustics.

02/02/2025: I once had a really good portion of nachos with salsa, guacamole and sour cream at Cafe Kærligheden. I recently wanted to repeat the success but was served a measly portion of tortilla chips with a dollop of cheese in the middle. No guacamole. The other dips (salsa and sour cream) are served in such small tubs that you can't dip a tortilla chip in. We weren't given any napkins so I went up to find some at the counter but there weren't any. And the waitress was nowhere to be found. I found a couple of unused napkins at another table where the left-over dishes and food scraps hadn't been cleared away. In fact, the place was pretty dirty. We were the only 2 customers so it wasn't because it was busy. When the waitress (who was otherwise sweet and smiling) finally appeared, I asked why there wasn't guacamole when I had had it before at the same cafe, she replied that they were running a new concept for the cafe and that was why the menu wasn't the same. I must honestly say that I did not have a good experience. I could have made those nachos better myself and I will continue to do so. I will not be coming back unless they clean up and have a better menu.

14/09/2025: Don't put chicken on your pizza unless you really love curry. Because the whole pizza tastes like curry 🤮 On the other hand, their garlic on pizza tastes really good.

18/09/2025: Really good shawarma, the meat was delicious and the size was ok - not huge. However, it was perhaps missing a little dressing - it was a bit on the dry side. The bread was, on the other hand, of good quality.

30/08/2025: Ordered the house burger, it was a mixed baguette. It is served in a ciabatta bun! Not a burger bun, so it was hard to cut into. The steak was too burnt for my taste and completely fried and dry. The burger was not a pleasure or we were just unlucky
