31/01/2025: Thursday 30/12025. I clearly order a Chicken Burger menu. I pay DKK 135. While I wait, I discover that a Chicken Burger menu costs DKK 125, but that the spicy version costs DKK 135. As I am in no way interested in a spicy version, I ask the young waitress if she agrees that I just ordered the regular version? Since she has put in DKK 135. She inquires in the kitchen, and they have to redo the order. She then says that I cannot get my ten kroner refunded. They don't. I question why, but again get the answer that they don't. She doesn't even offer me anything else for the ten kroner. So I see that a piece of cheese costs DKK 8, and ask if I can have such a piece in my burger??. I can do that. But I still stand back and have paid DKK 2, for her mistake, and basically with a burger I didn't want to be like that. However, it must be said that the food was good, not to put a finger on it. But I still don't understand how difficult it can be to return 10 DKK??!! It is a strange policy.

27/02/2025: 1st visit and won't be back, sorry! Lunch visit, ordered 4 pieces of smørrebrød. The fish fillet was described with coarse remoulade in the menu, which turned out to be something similar to mayonnaise (no taste, no structure, never been remoulade), a large and indelicate grape cucumber on the side in company with a lemon wedge sprinkled with some spice - covering the dry edges of the lemon. Price 115,- you can't be familiar with that, because then it's cheating! Since chicken salad was sold out, we chose roast beef, unfortunately with the same mayonnaise, it doesn't belong anywhere. The same happened with the potato dish, mayonnaise is apparently used on everything here! There wasn't much service either, they were more concerned with the conversation that was going on behind the counter/in the kitchen. Called attention to our mayonnaise problem in the restaurant, to which the answer was, it's homemade and we don't have anything else. Just have to state that the money for the cookery school must be repaid, have never had mayonnaise on a fish fillet with remoulade or roast beef for that matter! In addition, it needs strong ventilation and cleaning 🧹 Do not recommend this place 👎

06/03/2025: They couldn't cook 75% of the food on their menu. What we ordered also had to be abandoned. But eventually we found a dish they could make.

14/02/2025: We went to Martino for me DinnerDays and had a five course meal. The three first courses were great, the main was okay, and the dessert was not good.

04/03/2025: Worst pizzaria I have ever seen The first time I'm down there they take my order and then tell me only after they only take visa cards so I had to leave the place The second time I'm here, I finally get to order a lunch pizza for DKK 60, normally the pizza is a normal size, but no, not here With them, you get a half-sized mini pizza, but you don't pay half price, so it makes no sense Overall just a bad experience every time I come

15/12/2024: We had 3 courses: fish soup, rooster chicken in a pot and skyris with a form of cake. It was through Early Bird, so maybe we just got what was left. The fish soup was right on the edge of being too intense, and there was a maximum of 50 g of fish in it. Otherwise fine. The chicken casserole was totally dominated by bacon, both in texture and taste. Perhaps it would have been better to call it Bacon Casserole, with Chicken. Otherwise it tasted mainly of salt. The potato dish with it was reasonable. The dessert was poor. The skyr ice cream was incredibly watery and tasteless. The cake was dry, bread like and bland.

08/12/2024: Nice intimate Restaurant Ombord in Jægergårdsgade 71, 8000 Aarhus C - where we had a really nice birthday lunch on Saturday at 12:15 - about 15:30 !!

03/04/2025: I ended up with a parking fine of DKK 875!!! because we took more than 90 minutes to eat our food and we had not been able to see any sign. I have never experienced that there was a time limit in a McDonald's parking lot. But it seems a shame to get such an expensive fine because we sat and ate in their restaurant!!

30/12/2024: I have rarely experienced such lousy customer service as I was met with at Joe & The Juice. My experience was nothing short of disastrous and I am appalled at the level of indifference and rudeness shown. When I entered the cafe, I was ready to order and expect the smiling and quick service that one must expect when visiting a cafe. But no – instead I was ignored for a full six minutes. Six minutes where four employees stood and did absolutely nothing but talk and laugh with each other. Not one of them took the time to acknowledge my presence, as if I were invisible. When I was finally allowed to order, it took an incomprehensibly long time for them to make a simple juice and sandwich. There was no rush, no queue, no excuses – just a shocking lack of efficiency and respect for the customer's time. And for what? A mediocre juice and a sandwich that might as well have been made in a supermarket. I can safely say that I will never set foot in that hole again. If Joe & The Juice wants to keep their customers, they need to seriously consider training their staff on what proper customer service means. As a customer, you should feel welcome and valued – not as an annoying interruption in the employees' social interaction. Shame on you, Joe & The Juice. You get one star - and that's only because I can't give zero!!😡😡😡😡😡
