05/01/2026: The best thing, both in terms of taste and price, was the cocktail at 75 DKK. The starter was a mere hint of bruschetta: a small piece of toasted bread with three cherry tomatoes, each cut in half, placed on top, a few arugula leaves, some pesto, and a few sunflower seeds scattered around it, but this didn't justify the price of 89 DKK. For the main course, we had pizza mortadella and lasagna. We don't have much to say about the pizza; it was delicious, with fluffy dough, generous portions, and the price was reasonable. The lasagna, however, was an abomination. Honestly, you could sell it to babies; you don't need to chew it at all, the pasta was unrecognizable, and the seasonings probably only saw the microwave window. I've only ever experienced something so bland and mushy from my nephew's baby food jars. Moreover, it was drowned in a very bland tomato sauce, whatever else it was doing on top of the mushy lasagna, and all for only 139 DKK. We're not very picky about food and we're happy to pay a euro more if it's good, but in addition to the bad food, the service was terrible. It's one thing to not have mastered the craft (everyone starts somewhere, no problem), but the rudeness is unacceptable in service; it certainly didn't seem like they could do without a tip. It's a real shame, because it's in a great location, a lovely restaurant decorated with great attention to detail, but 600 DKK for food that didn't taste good is outrageous.

05/01/2026: Unfortunately, we were misled by the 4-star rating here. We ordered bruschetta with tomatoes (around €10 for a piece of bread with pesto and sliced ​​tomatoes), lasagna (around €20), and pizza mortadella with burrata and pistachio (around €24). We also ordered two non-alcoholic cocktails (around €10 each) and bottled water. The pizza and bruschetta tasted okay, but they were outrageously overpriced! The lasagna was an absolute disgrace! The pasta sheets were clearly overcooked, and the sauce was tasteless. The presentation is debatable, but I've never had lasagna served like that before.

29/10/2025: I have been coming there for several years now and am very satisfied with the burger and fries and thought they were nice portions, but the Kebab feels more like chewing on cartilage/tendons and cannot be recommended without improvement.

25/09/2025: You have to look for a long time for something like sticky grilled food. Banegårdsgrillen is definitely the worst grill bar I have tried to date. The food is too greasy, low quality and is made by angry employees who hate their job. The grill has 3 prices for a burger: Small, medium, large, which means the customer is left in doubt about what they are actually getting for their money. When you ask about the size of the burger in relation to the price, you get a sour answer and you end up not buying a burger. A boring strategy that some money-hungry employers use to save on food. You basically get the same in a medium burger as you get when buying a small one. The angry sad teenagers she has employed don't even bother to be there. The pricing of the so-called "grilled food" is completely absurd. But the money-hungry employer thinks that they should boost the price because the grill bar is located in a place where commuters pass by every day, namely next to the DSB station. She just hasn't considered that the low quality barbecue food served in the dilapidated shed doesn't match the price at all. 3 words: Arrogance, low quality, expensive prices. If you want a real burger. Then go to Burger Time in Randers pedestrian zone.

17/09/2025: If you want a good bowl of ramen in Aarhus, this is not the right place. I wish I would've taken a photo for proof, but sadly whatever I was served today for Tonkatsu ramen, looked absolutely nothing like the photos others have posted. Since most of the photos are older, maybe they have changed their recipe? Or they were low on some ingredients today? I don't know. Regardless - all that my tonkatsu ramen had in it for toppings were some bean sprouts and half an egg. That's it - no other veggies, nothing green. Just a sad bowl of brown and bland. The noodles were soggy and mushy, and the three bite-sized pieces of pork in it were cooked okay, but had absolutely zero flavor or spices. And to top it off, the portion was very small - the broth+noodles didn't even fill half the bowl, which for 140dkk I expected a LOT more value than three bites of pork and some soggy noodles. My fiance got the shoyu, and was similarly unimpressed. His bowl was underfilled and underwhelming taste-wise. He said the shoyu broth just tasted like water mixed with soy sauce, with no depth or flavor to it at all. The only toppings HE had were spring onions, half an egg, and a slice of bell pepper (what?). We both joked that we could've made better ramen out of instant noodles and what we had leftover in our fridge. It gets an extra star because the interior was very nicely decorated, they have board games you can play for the wait (service is rather slow - we waited 38 minutes to get our food), and the people there were friendly. If you're looking for a place to grab some snacks and drinks and hang out with friends, this is probably a great spot! If you're looking for a good bowl of ramen, do NOT come here. Go to Gaijin instead. P.s. Also avoid the kimchi, it's doesn't have any spices or flavors and is not proper kimchi, it's basically just a small bowl of random pickled veggies.

22/01/2026: Ordered takeaway Wienerschnitzel for 3 people. It smelled bad already in the car. We had to throw the food out. Tasted like the schnitzels were fried in old rancid butter. Called immediately and complained - we were absolutely not interested in getting a new order. We will never get food from there again.

19/02/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give a single star. It is otherwise our favorite pizza place because they offer gluten-free and it really is usually delicious. The last two times, however, the pizza has been too little and very soft and this time we got the wrong pizza. We ordered Kurdish with kebab/pep but got ham. Inedible unfortunately. Fortunately, we had also ordered fries because the pizza is running out. It will be some time before we dare order here again and we would like to support now that there are roadworks.
