18/03/2026: I visited Coccobello in Randers Storcenter and ordered a pizza, which turned out to be raw in the dough. I pointed it out and got a new one – but exactly the same problem: another raw and inedible pizza. When I pointed it out the second time, I was met with an arrogant explanation that the dough is supposed to be like that and that they have the best dough in the world. However, that doesn't change the fact that it was raw and inedible. I said that I wanted my money back because it was inedible, and they could see that the dough was raw, but was told that because I had taken a bite, I couldn't get my money back. Terrible quality and even worse customer service. Can't be recommended in any way.

01/03/2026: The pizza is on par with a frozen pizza. It's also the first time I've ever needed to put salt on a pizza.

14/09/2025: The food was ok but expensive (300kr plus for two lunches). The service was poor. We ordered our food together with five others, but our two orders came more than 30 minutes after the others, which meant that we didn't get to eat together. Not recommended if you don't have a lot of time to wait for your food and want to eat with the others you ordered food with.

29/12/2025: Subject: Recurring problems with online ordering – Lagkagehuset Silkeborg Hello Lagkagehuset Silkeborg I am writing to draw attention to a recurring problem with your online orders, which I have gradually found very unsatisfactory. When you order and pay for goods via your online system and receive a receipt stating that the order has been completed, you naturally assume that the goods are put aside and are ready for collection. Unfortunately, I have repeatedly experienced that when I show up at the store to pick up completely ordinary goods such as rye bread and French bread, you have not put them aside. This is not an isolated error — it has happened 5-6 times over the past year. Each time I am told that I can choose other types of bread instead. But when you have ordered certain goods, it is precisely because those are the ones you want — not a random alternative. As a customer, I experience this as: •    Lack of consistency between your online system and the store's practices •    Waste of my time •    And a very poor customer experience compared to a brand like Lagkagehuset If your system is not robust enough to ensure that online orders are actually handled correctly in the store, then it should either be improved or not offered — because the way it works now, it only creates irritation and dissatisfied customers. 31/12/2025: Review of Plantorama in Tilst As is tradition, I visited Plantorama in Tilst the day before New Year's Eve with my daughter and my two grandchildren, aged 4 and 6. Every year the children look forward to seeing and taking home the last of the beautiful Christmas decorations – it has always been a pleasant experience ❤️ For several years we have also been allowed to take discarded Christmas decorations such as balls, pine cones, etc. that had already been thrown into the bins inside the store. We have done this based on a sustainability principle and to teach the children that you can reuse and create art from things that would otherwise be thrown away. But this year we were given a clear no. Everything had to be thrown away, and we were told that this was the store's principle – and that what we had been allowed to do in previous years had been a mistake. It was both disappointing and difficult to explain to the children, who sincerely did not understand why you were not allowed to use things that had already been thrown away. In addition, I must unfortunately say that the level of service has been poor the last few times. Several young employees seemed more interested in chatting and chatting among themselves than being helpful. The tables in the café were dirty, and the overall impression was just not very inviting. All in all, a disappointing experience – especially when it is usually a nice family tradition. Next year we will go to Plantorama in Egå and hope for better service and a more welcoming experience. Even the children managed to ask the staff why they were not allowed to take what had already been thrown away and make art out of it – and that in itself may say something.

23/10/2025: Large Plamtorama, with a large selection, both plants and pets. There is an Espresso House on the second floor, perhaps the largest in Aarhus. There is also a playroom for the little ones.

26/09/2025: When you're going out for cocktails on a Thursday, it was absolutely perfect to visit Old Irish. The place isn't huge, but there were tables and a dance floor. 2 for 1 on cocktails 🙏🏼 so it was just amazing

24/08/2025: The pizzas were completely burnt around the edges, so much had to be cut off.

18/05/2025: We had eight pizzas and a salad delivered to our holiday home outside of Herning (12 km away) during the Ice Hockey World Championship. The prices were very fair, and the staff was very friendly (both on the phone and the driver). The pizza and salad were delicious and still warm upon delivery.

12/12/2025: There are a number of very good restaurants in Aarhus, and the overall standard of quality is very high. However, this restaurant is something special: a small menu, excellent cuisine, a thoroughly pleasant atmosphere, and sound-absorbing elements installed, which cannot be praised highly enough. We tried various dishes from the menu and were very impressed by all of them. What's more, the restaurant used to be a wine bar and has taken over the wine cellar. The advice on wine selection is particularly good. For wine-loving and pasta-loving guests, this is the place to go in Aarhus.

22/10/2025: I ordered a manakish with cheese and spinach as I am a vegetarian. Then I discover after I have eaten it that there is kebab in it. I go in and they just say I will get a new one. No apology or money back. Bad experience😞

01/09/2025: The ice cream doesn't live up to the hype at all - just average taste, but priced way too high. Honestly felt it was a waste of money and I won't be back. Definitely not recommended.

07/08/2025: I really don't understand the hype around Okkels in Silkeborg. I was looking forward to a good ice cream experience, but this was a real disappointment. The ice cream was anything but gelato – it lacked both the creamy consistency and the intense flavor you expect from real Italian ice cream. It felt more like cheap soft serve ice cream than something that should be called “gelato”. If you really know gelato, you know that this is nowhere near it. It tasted artificial and watery. I would have rather gotten a package from the supermarket – that would have been better. All in all, a really disappointing experience. I won't be back.
