03/07/2025: We were there as vacationers. We were very well served. The portions are huge. The staff was very friendly and there was very little waiting. I can't recommend this place enough.

23/07/2025: Super cozy place with a view of the canal and Enø. We ordered a shooting star, which consisted of a delicious fish fillet and plenty of smoked salmon and hand-peeled shrimp, as well as the fish of the day, which was fried haddock with new potatoes, fried vegetables and delicious hollandaise sauce. Everything was super delicious. Good service, but they were very busy.

22/07/2025: It's always a pleasure to come here. Even though it's busy, the service is fast and friendly. The food is always good. The fish is especially recommended.

28/06/2025: Ordered their number 14 a few days ago. I got almost a whole head of white cabbage in my dish, not many noodles for how much cabbage was used. It also didn't help that the cabbage was tasteless and dripping with oil. Ouch

12/07/2025: My visit to Restaurant Snekken was unfortunately a disappointment – and an expensive one at that. The steak was served so cold that the butter on top didn’t even bother to melt. But okay – it’s clear that it can’t keep warm all the way from Uruguay! The size of the meat was also questionable; it was supposed to be over 300 grams, but it didn’t seem that way on the plate. The salad bar was sold as “big and delicious”, but consisted of two strange salad combinations and two varieties of cold potatoes. It seemed more like an excuse than part of the experience. The Bernaise sauce was the only warm thing on the plate, but it tasted like something from a can – definitely not homemade. When you pay those prices (3x325 kr) you expect more – much more. The quality, warmth and taste were unfortunately not up to par. We book a table in advance but are unfortunately not informed about this week’s “special” menu. But the politeness makes you stay there anyway. I won't be back.

We selected the tasting menu with wine pairing, and it far exceeded every expectation, a true symphony of flavors, precision, and creativity. What makes this experience even more remarkable is the warmth and uniqueness of the family behind the restaurant. The service was flawless, graceful, attentive, and in perfect harmony with the culinary artistry. We brought our daughter along, fully aware that there was no children's menu, and yet the team went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable and cared for throughout the entire evening. This level of attention and hospitality is truly rare. The menu itself was a masterpiece, refined, balanced, and deeply thoughtful. Each dish was a celebration of seasonal ingredients, technique, and elegance. Without a doubt, this was one of the finest dining experiences of my life. Restaurant Ö is a gem, a place where passion, excellence, and authenticity meet. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking not just a meal, but an experience to remember.

17/04/2025: Rigtig fin velkomst og venligt personale (vi var walk-in og følte os meget velkomne). Vi bestilte to burgere med wagyu kød - de bedste burgere jeg længe har smagt. Meget lækkert. Og der var hurtig servering, hvilket var vigtigt for os, da vi skulle videre til et arrangement i Ringsted Kongrescenter.

07/04/2025: Super delicious brunch and good service.

04/06/2025: Took help from Google Maps from the ferry from Germany on the way back to Sweden. Previous reviews made us go to the cute little village of Eskilstrup and have dinner at the pizzeria. Pizza no. 7, Roma, magically good with a thin crispy bottom. Lots of meat, chicken and salami. There were 2 of us who shared a normal-sized pizza and were quite full. Recommended!

15/04/2025: Food is freshly made instantly, they serve very delicious food. Taste was really good of the pasta and the half chicken fried we ordered! Staff is friendly but if you are coming from outside of Denmark, then language can be little bit challenge, as they don’t speak English! But i must say it’s one of the best crispiest fried chicken i have ever tried in Europe! They have a well decorated, neat and clean and kids friendly restaurant! I love this place and it’s surrounding!

10/07/2025: Denne restaurant oser af italiensk stemning. Man bliver taget godt imod af ejerne, som giver en følelse af man er ventet og velkommen. De fortæller om vinen og maden på en spændende måde også er det en oplevelse at smage den mest fantastiske mad! Det er bestemt ikke sidste gang vi har været der. Min mand og jeg havde vores baby på 8 uger med og der blevet taget så fint hensyn. Jeg vil sige at det mest er til par eller venner man tager med herhen, men det er mest for at man har tiden til at få den fulde oplevelse med. Vi bestilte vinmenu og 5-retters og det smagte himmelsk! Jeg vil sige, at jeg synes det er den bedste restaurant i Holbæk man kan besøge og det er til rimelige priser. Men kommer ikke til at fortryde sit besøg!

25/05/2025: I have to say what a lovely evening, had a 5 course menu with wine, it just fit together, it's worth a visit, both the food and the wine were presented beautifully and precisely.

22/07/2025: Lovely hotel. A very friendly welcome. Excellent manager. There's a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. You can also use the refrigerator for your own belongings. The rooms are clean and tidy.

21/07/2025: Pretty nice place for a short stay. Apparently there is also a tent area, but we were not sure if it was part of the hotel or not. Breakfast is okay for the price, but not outstanding (still bread for example) It is easy to get there, but the rooms, or at least ours was super noisy. Right next to the highway, so we couldn't get a good sleep after all.
