02/05/2025: The food seems delicious. The fries are super crispy even when ordered take away. The burgers are juicy and freshly prepared. The chicken burger is amazing and the employees are friendly and accommodating. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. It's a classic snack bar so it's constantly coming and going. Unfortunately we are only holiday guests.

With the service at the top and a couple of old street robbers who sit and talk about big and small things, it just doesn't get any nicer 👌

05/04/2025: Vi fik begge en rigtig god middag/ret og selvom der var mange besøgende var ventetiden kort. Sødt personale. Kan kun anbefale Det Mexikanske bøfhus.
28/03/2025: Bad service, the waiter didn't know anything about the things on the card. Got a sour/bad steak and the chef doesn't understand anything.

24/03/2025: I was at an event held at CoisBar. It was a really good event and the whole team around CoisBar handled it all super well. Things are under control.
So if you are going to hold an event or something else in Sorø, I can only recommend contacting them.
16/03/2025: The beers were good, the food did not impress in any way and will eat elsewhere another time and focus on what they are good at.

Vi kommer typisk på besøg en gang hver 2. eller 3. måned, glæder os hver gang; og går altid derfra meget glade, mætte og delvist lige.

17/05/2025: Our first burger was not cooked properly - no. 2 was just as it should be. The waiter said that they had a new grill, and the service man has had everything set to 0. So that's why you sometimes experience that the steak was not cooked properly. But super nice and friendly staff
13/05/2025: The food itself is quite okay. The fries arrived cold. We had a coffee flat rate, but were only served once during the meal (so we only had two coffees in total). We had to wait a long time for the waiter to come once they saw us. It really wasn't busy, maybe 15 customers in the entire diner. It's quite expensive (a milkshake was just under €8, a burger was just under €18 without sides, which are extra).

Great service, you feel welcome here ❤️ What a wonderful personality the owner of the place has, you feel at home. And then he sings, both while he's making the coffee and yes, even if he's not actually serving anyone, it comes quite naturally to him to sing along to the music on the loudspeaker, good music by the way. And he actually sings really well too 👌
A wonderful place that can be recommended from here, I will definitely be back before long 😍
26/01/2025: The cafe is beautifully situated by the lake and the academy.
It is winter and it is winter light and winter atmosphere in the Cafe.
I want to come this summer with the sun and drink coffee and look out over the lake.

15/04/2025: Food is freshly made instantly, they serve very delicious food. Taste was really good of the pasta and the half chicken fried we ordered!
Staff is friendly but if you are coming from outside of Denmark, then language can be little bit challenge, as they don’t speak English!
But i must say it’s one of the best crispiest fried chicken i have ever tried in Europe!
They have a well decorated, neat and clean and kids friendly restaurant! I love this place and it’s surrounding!
26/12/2024: Ordered a ham pizza with a Christmas tree drawn in dressing.
I got that. 5 out of 5!

27/11/2024: Fantastic pub at the end of Denmark. Really cozy atmosphere, nice guests and bartender. I will definitely try to stop by here again. However, we drank a coke as me and my son had been on a hike. This watering hole can definitely be recommended. 🙏🇩🇰

Just had a cappuccino. Very service-minded staff.
Definitely recommended
20/04/2025: Unfortunately they didn't pass the pizza test......a Margherita. The dough very thin and dry, the tomato sauce was irrelevant. Overall, a disappointing experience but sweet and friendly service. 72 hours of sourdough and a good tomato sauce would do wonders.

13/05/2025: Great selection of beers! During the summer there are concerts on Friday/Saturday. If you come on a Friday, you can buy the most delicious pork roast sandwich, the kitchen closes at 7:30 PM 🙏🏻
