17/07/2024: We bought soft ice cream and because of the heat it is difficult for the machine to keep the ice cream cold enough, so you have to hurry to eat it. Cozy place and lovely people 🤗

06/10/2024: The food was ok, but not at all for the price, NOK 595. 1. It took a long time, 3 courses over 2-3 hours 2. Didn't get full.

26/08/2024: The village is quite deserted on this Monday. The choice of restaurants in the village is Indian or Italian. We made the right choice by going here. Super tasty food and a very friendly host. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

29/09/2024: If you are looking for an authentic Indian experience with tasty dishes, then you should definitely visit Kashmir! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful in recommending their best dishes. I had the great pleasure of tasting their Butter Chicken and Biryani and both dishes were simply amazing. The chicken was juicy and tasty and the spicy gravy made it an experience for the taste buds. Biryani was also a great experience with its soft basmati rice and the perfect balance of spices and flavors. Kashmir also has a large selection of vegetarian dishes, so there is something for everyone. Their Palak Paneer and Daal were lovely and full of flavor and spices. When I visited the place for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary Mango lassi as a welcome gesture. It was a wonderful surprise and it made my experience in Kashmir even better. As a parent, I know it can be difficult to find a kid-friendly place to eat, but Kashmir is definitely one of them. The staff were so nice and attentive to the children and they had a great experience choosing their favorite dishes from the menu. All in all, I would highly recommend Kashmir to anyone wanting an authentic Indian experience with great food and service. You will not be disappointed!

28/10/2024: Very family friendly! I have been here countless times for birthdays and celebration dinners. Plenty of good vegetarian options, easy to get full and want more here, LOTS of themed decor. I’d rather have interesting things on the wall to talk about than a tv in the restaurant. Also, nice service and deals.

04/08/2024: A nice and cozy inn with well-furnished rooms with a small kitchenette and a small private terrace. Nice food and nice service. The first night the waiter came round and knocked to make sure everyone knew that the next night's buffet was at 18.30.

06/10/2024: It's going to be a bit of a mixed bag with this review. Let's start with the drag. My girlfriend had booked a table at Elmely Kro on my birthday because they have wiener schnitzel (my meal) and specifically wrote it in the booking 1 month before that we should have wiener schnitzel and prime burger, they obviously ask that you inform us. When we arrive on the day, we are greeted by a very arrogant and unfriendly waiter who informs us that this evening they only serve a Sunday dining as an option. Had we known that we would have booked somewhere else, there was no info about it or contact from their side. The waiter was so unpleasant and really flabby for the rest of the evening (and no, we hadn't made up, but of course expressed that it was bad customer service not to inform about this). But despite a terribly poor service from the waiter, we chose to stay and taste their Sunday dining menu, as it was late and we were hungry. And the chef gets all the praise we can muster, the food simply tasted so good, so if nothing else, it was worth all the trouble. Both the starter and the main course melted and created fireworks in the mouth. Can really recommend their pork jowls. And then the inn itself is cozy and atmospheric. Please book a table in advance, but don't expect to be able to get the food you expect.

I love the interior decoration with all old equipment and a lovingroom vibe, the place generally feels like a wine farm making coffee. I like that crossover. They have different activities like a box of smells from coffee, books and quiz games, so that you can nerd out completely. They roast inhouse so sometimes the wonderful aroma fills the air. Recommended for: Anybody who like quality coffee, no matter taste preferences, and an intimate cafè experience. This cafè is great for anyone who is a bit turned of by very light roast but still would like quality coffee. It is what i refer to as provins speciality. Conclusion: My favorite local place.

16/10/2024: Good durum kebab with fresh vegetables and meat. The chili can be strong, so if you don't like this, order without it. The chef is good at asking if you need dressing and chili. When you order a menu, they also remember to mention that you must remember drinks. The fries themselves taste fine. They have baked enough and taste fine. It is possible to eat on site, but I use this as a takeaway.
