Find a good assortment of Åben beers on tap, an excellent array of bottled beers (Danish and some foreign) as well as all the spirits and bitters needed for a good time. The atmosphere is alive and very friendly, full of real warmth and soul. Fair prices

10/05/2025: Their behavior is not just discriminatory – it is decidedly discriminatory. The level of service is obviously not the same for all customers, and this shows an arrogance where they have forgotten that it is they who have to provide service - not the other way around.

08/09/2025: We had booked a table yesterday 7/9-2025 For fried eel. We were there at the agreed time and still had to wait about 40 minutes. For our drinks. And another 10 for our food despite the food being ordered over the phone. The table next to us arrived later than us but still got their food before us, which they only ordered when they arrived. The eels were swimming around in oil and tasted bitter. We thought it was the taste from the wet wipes but found out that it was the oil that gave the bad taste. It would have been a nice gesture if we had gotten the drinks for free due to the wait as they had apparently forgotten about us.

23/08/2025: Nice place, needs a few more waiters, they forgot about us, we didn't get anything to drink for the first hour. Also waited for food.

19/08/2024: A fairly anonymous brick building with a faded sign, but the impression is deceptive. A rustic terrace overlooking the harbor, chairs without cushions. There's no Danish draft beer. An excellent buffet, including many fish delicacies, includes 7-8 varieties of pickled herring, salmon, and fish cakes. Delicious: the pâtés with asparagus and chicken. A selection of cheeses. We ate here on a Monday shortly after 12:00; the buffet was freshly prepared. Clean restrooms. Price for two people with one beer and two coffees, including tip, was 640 DKK.

31/05/2025: Little gem, indescribably great taste! Unconditionally Vordingborg's best burger! I've tried everywhere, even those that only sell burgers... Verona's burger is like in the old days (reminiscent of the ones from the old Hugo's - for us locals, however, there's no Chinese cabbage in it/ but thousand island dressing, and 150g homemade steak, thick slices of cucumber and tomato, plenty of cheese and no more salad than you can see... And for 70,- kr, for a real cheeseburger... It's a steal 💪🤗 I've been coming there on/off for the past 25 years.. and especially since the current female owner has been cooking the food, the burgers are tip top!! Pizza and other things on the menu there I don't know if they're as good - as the burgers are so good that I've never seen a reason to order anything else!
