12/05/2025: We had the most incredible stay at Egn! It was a very special weekend as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend over the weekend - Julie was incredibly helpful at making special arrangements including a bottle of champagne and some beautiful flowers! The hotel was wonderfully decorated and had a nice cozy feel to it. Jesper was an incredible cook and all the food that we ate was delicious - the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had and the meal at Restaurant Egn was incredibly high quality. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was honestly so delicious. Thank you so much to Julie & Jesper, we will be back for sure!

31/05/2025: We ordered 4 Wienerschnitzels, 3 Aporols and 2 Cokes.. It took 6 minutes for the food to arrive, which speaks to the whole thing being just thrown down the wishing well. We were missing a knife which was requested 3 times, but the food got cold before then. The food was so tasteless and the brown sauce looked like chicken stock with gelatin, completely tasteless. The Aporols were served in half glasses because there was no prosecco and sparkling water. We complained about the food, the waiter apologized and said that of course we shouldn't pay for it. One of the company then ordered a burger menu, which also had to be left behind. We wanted to pay for the burger, but suddenly also had to pay for the 4 Wienerschnitzels, even though the same waiter had previously said that it was on their account.. all in all a terrible experience with really bad food and really bad service. So avoid Orø Kro and save your money.

15/12/2024: I thought: Staff make time for customers and chores before they dispatch. I enjoy different things. e.g. the potato soup is fantastic. The buns with cheese. I have tried a few of their cakes, they are good, but the route bus layer cake is very sweet for me. Otherwise fantastic and good atmosphere ☕️👌

10/12/2024: Only 2 people for the whole place (capacity 50 people) is not enough. The waitresses were unfriendly and the food was simple and nothing special. They serve coffee, craft beer, cakes, sandwiches, wine and salads. Without passion and without love. If it weren't for the location and decoration of the place, no one would go. Beer is expensive, more than in a bar. There aren't many alternatives in Nakskov but I wouldn't recommend it.
