20/02/2026: Was there on Valentine's Day in Kalundborg. The food is good. But on our 3 orders, the last one came first from the first order. On the last order I waited 15 minutes for the food. There I chose to go up and pay since there was nothing at the counter. I said that I was waiting for the last order, and was told that they were busy. There were empty tables in the restaurant, so it sounds a bit empty. We waited another 5 minutes after I had paid. So about 25. Still no sushi, so we chose to drive.

17/12/2025: Okay, but they don't know that tomatoes and cucumbers are needed on salad, pizza, durum, etc. They are in the pictures in the brochure and menus, but they save the vegetables, it's a bit of a cheat and I've experienced it all 3 times I've been there, there's room for improvement

18/09/2025: Have been there twice within a month, once for an anniversary, where we got some pretty boring buffet food, was so disappointed and then for a funeral, the pastry and the layer cake were ok.

17/12/2025: Ordered the food on Friday and sent them an email about my experience on Saturday - today Wednesday I still haven't heard anything. I wrote to them: It was quite a boring experience with food that wasn't hot and spring rolls that weren't soft. When I ordered at 6:22 PM it said it wouldn't be ready until 7:15 PM and that was fine on a busy Friday. But at 7 PM I got a text message that the food was ready so that was nice - but it must have been waiting longer and was ready and was cold and boring. Take care of your otherwise good reputation. Regards Charlotte Hi again, After reading your response I just want to inform you that within 5 minutes of picking up the food (I live close by), we sat down to eat and started with the spring rolls, which were eaten from the open "China box". 12/12/2025: So much flavour, and with nice body and depth. These are *bodied* taste experiences. And the greatest, juiciest chicken skewer I have ever had in my life - and my friend went to culinary school, so I consider that having said a bit. The people are kind and upfront, and service is, as thus, incredible; If you're in doubt, you can safely go to Rødhættes for an awesome night, just in power of the food alone.

11/10/2025: Was there at 8am on a Saturday. We bought 2 spandau, 2 frösnappers, 2 croissants, and 1 dubai style cookie. How did you manage to get the pastries soggy? It was as if they weren't freshly baked, and had been left outside overnight. In addition, the cookie was bland. It tasted like they had used vekao instead of chocolate. And in addition, it tasted like they had used green dessert mass with pistachio flavor, between the cookie and the coating.

07/03/2026: The food was okay, but it was frustrating that you couldn't choose the potatoes and vegetables of the day. I would also recommend avoiding their bearnaise sauce since out of all their dormitory ones it was the worst.

11/01/2026: Really nice and skilled staff, lovely food, got delicious pizzas, exactly as they should be. Also, atmospheric place.

04/01/2026: Hard to get permission to order. The food (Sunday brunch) was nice, but the drinks are way too expensive. 69 kr. For a small glass of juice is too much. Especially when half of it is ice cubes. Payment when ordering. Clean plates must be handed out from the bar.

21/12/2025: It seemed like a boring concept. Well, their restaurants are nice and cozy. But I thought their food was too assembly line-style. Then there was only a nice cup of cocoa. But don't worry. 110 kr for two cocoas. Then it's probably paid for. You can get it both better and cheaper elsewhere.

17/10/2025: We only ordered two drinks because of happy hour and a bruschetta. The bruschetta was really good, the chef did a great job, but the people who served us the food and took the order lacked interest in their work, which made the service less than good. Otherwise, they had decorated nicely for Halloween, which made it have a very nice atmosphere! Unfortunately it was noisy, but that's not their fault.

05/10/2025: Many different ice cream varieties, some you don't normally see. Really nice big ice creams for the same price as a regular ice cream cone.

27/09/2025: Got inedible fries, the next table sat and complained about the food. And I thought, no, get over it, it can't be that bad. But the fries were so inedible.

30/10/2025: Always satisfied when we visit AlgadePizza, we have been coming there for over 10 years, they are both always very nice and welcoming. Roskilde's best pita and durum, and we have tried many. Really delicious homemade pita bread. Highest recommendations from here.
