12/08/2026: After waiting for more than 70 minutes without food, I left…

11/08/2026: There were four of us eating here: two adults and two children. The service was very friendly, but not very attentive. No one asked if we needed to deflate our beer glasses. We received the menu in German, so there was no guesswork involved. The food was delicious, no complaints there, and the portion size was just right. You can play darts there, both soft and steel. There are also two pool tables. It costs 10 kr per game. Unfortunately, there isn't enough space around the tables. But we still had fun. Sadly, no one came by to ask us if we wanted more drinks.

06/09/2026: Our experience at Koan was truly exceptional from both a food and flavor perspective. We loved how the menu blended Korean influences with exceptional local seafood, creating dishes that felt unique while still being incredibly cohesive. I’ll never forget the lobster noodle, tofu and caviar, and bread courses; they were some of the standout dishes in my opinion. One thing that felt particularly distinctive compared with other restaurants we’ve experienced at this level was the use of spice and heat in a few dishes. That’s something I’ve found to be relatively rare in fine dining, and it was a refreshing departure from tradition that added another layer of excitement to the meal. The atmosphere was also stunning, and our table had a decent view of the kitchen, which allowed us to observe the coordination that goes into executing an evening in a high end restaurant. Koan will remain one of the highlights of our time in Copenhagen, and I hope to visit some of the chef’s other restaurant recommendations on future trips.

17/08/2026: We stopped at this ice cream parlor. Although it wasn't on the menu, they made us spaghetti ice cream. Despite the large crowd, Vanessa remained calm and lovingly prepared it for us. Afterwards, we even got an extra soft serve because she thought our spaghetti ice cream was a bit too small. It couldn't have been better!

17/03/2026: Made is nice enough, but you don't get a receipt and I only checked what I had paid when I got home. I can see that I paid an extra 20kr. Not the worst. In addition, 70% of their menu was sold out on Friday at 6:30 pm.

09/03/2026: Delicious and authentic falafel. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it for delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.

22/08/2026: Tried both breakfast and lunch. Lunch is good, but Breakfast is what I’d go here for, its great! Did the Congee and Korokke bun. Small venue but cozy :) everything drinkable was one of the highlights, the teas and the lemonades with interesting flavour combos in perfect balance.

25/07/2026: In the shopping street, right in the city center, you will find the cozy Malt & Grape. A super fun place specializing in wine, beer, and cocktails. We did a four-glass beer tasting here. We let the bartender surprise us, and his choices were spot on! An extra nice touch is that you can also buy individual bottles and beautiful beer and wine packages inside. Highly recommended for a fun afternoon or evening!

06/08/2026: Nice, sterile atmosphere. Aggressively New Nordic, in step with Copenhagen rebrand. The coffee is overpriced enough to double as a small lesson in impermanence, and the vibe leans more prove you belong here than come on in.

05/08/2026: Very good coffee and pastry. The staff is super friendly. You can buy their roasted coffee beans. Could be crowded, be patient. Highly recommend

17/05/2026: Varna Palaet (Varna Palace), is also known as 'Odd Fellow Palaet Varna', is located in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated within the scenic Marselisborg Forests on Orneredevej, overlooking Aarhus Bay. Originally built in 1908 by architect Eggert Achen, it was designed in a Neoclassical style as a dining pavilion for the Danish National Exhibition of 1909. In 1970, the municipality sold the property to the local branch of the Independent order of Odd Fellows, whose distinct three-link chain logo and name can be seen on the side of the modern annex building. Today, the mansion functions primarily as an event venue, holding cultural activities, conferences, and weddings, alongside a popular on-site restaurant. Built in 1908 by architect Eggert Achen for the Danish National Exhibition of 1909. The building is owned by the 'Odd Fellow Society'. It houses lodge facilities and has a well known restaurant, which is used for weddings, conferences, and public dining. It features a Neoclassical style, notably recognized by its two octagonal towers. Our visit to Denmark was in 2025. Once again, the pleasure of seeing this place bathed in impeccable white, was enough for me. Would love to come back here one day, if given a chance. Have heard ton's of appreciation of its 'perfect cuisine' layout.

11/08/2026: Delicious grilled pork sausage, served as a hot dog. Great atmosphere at the harbor. Very friendly ladies at the grill and fryer. Even the locals come and go here. 😍
