10/11/2025: The staff (a man) was really unfriendly to me. I was kicked out of the café because the table I chose (as he claimed) was "occupied" (but I didn't see anything like "reserved" or "booked" on the table). Maybe it was because I came alone (unlike everyone else in the café). I have no idea. On their website I see: "Höjris is an inspiring meeting place and lifestyle house with a creative atmosphere where everyone feels welcome." That's not true.

02/11/2025: Amazing brunch with a lot of character and history behind the place. The food was delicious – everything nicely served in small glass jars, from fresh fruit and yogurt to eggs and sausages. Prices are a bit high and portions aren’t huge, but the atmosphere totally makes up for it. The old posters and vintage Danish ads on the walls give it a really fun and nostalgic vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

25/10/2025: A building that looks as if an architect and a child had designed a dream together. It was 3:03 PM in Frederiksberg. Els looked up at the climbing wall and said, “Harm, this looks like an Ikea hell for sporty people.” She was wearing her coat from Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers, gleaming like a rebellion in a world of concrete and balance. Inside, it smelled of coffee, children’s voices, and Danish design. Everything was round, friendly, and precisely calculated to look spontaneous. I thought of Etsy, of craftsmanship, of how leather lives the way architecture does—with lines that breathe, with imperfections that give character. Els tried a slide that felt more like a religious experience than a playground. Halfway down, she exclaimed, “Harm, I feel my youth returning!” I laughed, because for the first time that day, I believed her. Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers fits perfectly: creative, honest, and made to move with the times. KU.BE isn't a building. It's a conversation between human and material—just as real leather should be.

24/08/2025: Delicious food and a nice reunion with Naes on our 6th anniversary ❤️. We had a three-course menu - perfectly roasted red deer and tenderloin steak, a soft Barbera d'alba to go with it - everything "just sat in the cupboard" for 1285,- with sunset right outside. Torben 😎

12/11/2025: A lovely place that we would love to return to. The rooms are very individually decorated and our "one-room apartment" was OK standard but no more. The beds were sofas so it might not have been the best quality of sleep. It can get really hot too. But the facility itself was really nice with a pool and a restaurant that served food that tasted very good. Very child-friendly and my son had a great time. The proximity to the sea was fantastic and the area around the facility was cozy. Fast charger a couple of hundred meters away and destination charger that worked fine without a queue. Can highly recommend Tannishus to anyone who wants very affordable accommodation in a very nice location near Skagen and the North Sea Museum for example.

18/09/2025: Very authentic and fresh food. In our 3 day stay, we came to this place twice (would have been thrice but were busy with work). Extremely kind and polite owners. Even though we came near closing time, they allowed us to eat, served us and didn't rush us. Definitely come here if even if it is far for you. The food will not leave you disappointed.

08/10/2025: Went to my mother's 80th birthday party. Had to ask for drinks to be refilled twice. After the first two tables had been to the buffet, there was no more salmon and we had to ask for refills of both salmon, potatoes and lamb. The first portion of potatoes was a bit crunchy and the last portion looked like the last bit left in the pot. It can't be right that the birthday person themselves should make sure that the food is refilled for that price. The meat did taste good and was well-cooked. The dessert was a bit weird... heard someone excitedly find a piece of macaroon in the apple cake..... It had been pointed out that there was a gluten allergy but that was not taken into account.
