22/07/2025: Very nice hotel, spacious rooms and the most extensive breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, even with champagne, really wow
21/07/2025: The hotel has ample free parking, for which you must register your license plate in the lobby.
The rooms are not equipped with air conditioning, but the windows can be opened and there is a table fan. This is also necessary in warm weather.
The bathroom is compact, but everything is provided.
The swimming pool with sauna is a very nice bonus.
The surprise of the stay was the well-prepared breakfast. Absolutely everything is there, tasty and fresh. I would return just for the breakfast.

31/07/2025: Best Sushi in Aalborg (when it comes to all you can eat), the quality of fish is as it should be, you don't get the feeling that it has been in a cooler for several days like in other places (suzumi) the waiters are friendly and it always goes fast with getting the food.
The atmosphere is perfect, cozy rooms with not too close and too many tables, so there is virtually never much noise.

19/07/2025: Dårlig betjening og en i selskabet blev syg af maden. Usympatisk ejer, der har ry for udelukkende at tænke på egne interesser. Har et utroligt dårligt ry i Slettestrand.

Was one of the highlights on my two day trip, check out the whole neighbourhood for similar independent quirky shops, cafes. Enjoyed this much more than that other place in the meatpacking district.

11/05/2025: We tried the tasting menu last night and were literally sent on a culinary mountain tour. From the fragrant gundruk to buttery chicken tikka to a homemade mango lassi, everything was just perfect. The kitchen works quickly, the team smiles genuinely, and even the owner stopped by to ask if we were enjoying ourselves. Five stars are almost too few for this experience.

03/06/2025: Polite service and very cute French-like atmosphere. The cakes look and taste great. We only tries the Rumkugle but the rest looked just as carefully prepared and presented.
I would definitely recommend it for a small dessert or an afternoon tea. We went for brunch though and the dishes we got were perhaps a little too small. The yogurt bowl definitely needed more honey for my taste at least.
