28/11/2025: Did not eat. Just had a drink. Really nice atmosphere.

24/10/2025: The food is clearly the worst part of the experience. Not that it was bad food, but it is miles away from restaurant food. It is the quick and boring solutions with vegetables from the freezer, cheap and indifferent meat and dressing, sauce etc. from a bucket. But you can't expect more at those prices. It costs the same for a meal here as a standard pizza from the local pizza place. There were many guests, so the price etc. hits the clientele really well.

12/05/2026: Fantastic food, tastes so good. A little on the expensive side but definitely something you should try again every now and then. They are really nice and you can feel that they are committed to the food they make and you can taste it too.

10/05/2026: An unfortunately slightly overrated place, where the prices don't quite match what is served on the plate. However, praise for the cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. The restaurant has a slightly strange choice to serve and arrange the tartare at the table, which I have not encountered before, and which seems unnecessary, even a little pretentious. For the main course I had been looking forward to a beef wellington, but unfortunately the kitchen did not live up to this, as the steak was on the dry side; on the other hand, the baked crust was excellent. Things went wrong for the young man when dessert was to be served, where he happened to touch another plate with one plate, which spoiled an otherwise beautifully arranged piece of gateau marcel - mistakes can happen and the young man offered a new dish, which we declined. The drinks menu is murderously boring if you want an aperitif.

04/05/2026: I visited the restaurant on Saturday night around 10pm and had a ribeye with side dishes – and it was a really good experience. The food was incredibly tasty, the meat perfectly cooked and of high quality. Special praise must go to the young waiters, both the boy and the girl, who provided impressive service. The boy in particular had a remarkable knowledge of the meat they served – among other things, he spoke insightfully about their Kobe beef, which really lifted the experience. A small detail was that there was no salt and pepper on the table, but it was quickly and kindly brought when I asked. All in all, a really good experience with both delicious food and committed staff. Highly recommended.

23/11/2025: Atmosphere, atmosphere not found in many other pubs/restaurants. Guldkronen has a fantastic staff. A place to be experienced and enjoyed.

19/11/2025: Cozy place with good atmosphere and polite service. Extremely reasonable prices.

15/12/2025: Cozy atmosphere with fantastic open sandwiches. Roast pork is irresistible, beer from the tap is perfect. Classic Danish eatery!

17/10/2025: I stayed at this hotel this past August when visiting Copenhagen. I was extraordinarily pleased! The room was a bit small, but since I was by myself, this didn't affect me too much. The rain shower was really nifty, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding- there were tons of options to choose from. I really made sure to load up on food at this time, haha! The location was unbeatable- Tivoli, the train station and nightlife locations all were a short walk from the hotel. I will certainly consider staying here again when I visit Copenhagen next.

16/07/2025: 2nd time I've visited the place.. My friend and I had bought a deal for a sandwich buffet.. 😉 The sandwiches are good and nicely decorated.. Especially the potato dish is a big hit.. Ate 3 of them.. 😋 🥰 Will definitely come again..

08/03/2026: We held our son's christening at Café Langsiden, where we rented a room with food, drinks and staff – and it was a REALLY good experience! Everything was well planned, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they made sure that both we and our guests had a wonderful day. The food was delicious, there was plenty of both food and drinks, and the room was perfect for our event. It was also a great help that they took care of the cleanup afterwards, so we could just enjoy the day. We can highly recommend Café Solsiden to others who are having a party or event.

27/02/2026: Highly recommended! We had a double christening reception at Cafe Langsiden, everything just worked. Christina and her team made delicious sandwiches that guests compliment when they see them afterwards and drinks ad libitum. They also took care of the decoration and cleanup, so we just had to show up and enjoy the day with our guests ❤️

18/10/2025: Really disappointing fish ‘n’ chips. Especially in a fishing village like Vorupør, you expect to get fresh fish. But our food consisted almost entirely of breading. It actually seemed like frozen food - Pfft!

14/10/2025: A nice self-service restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers on tap. The prices are very reasonable by Danish standards. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the beach. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is always busy. There's an ice cream stand outside next to the entrance, where you can buy soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings.

27/10/2025: Cozy atmosphere, nice blend of chilling and playing pool while not losing the trait of a beer place. Music was a bit unstable but still quite audible.
