04/02/2026: We had booked a table and yet it seemed as if they were not geared for the amount of guests that were there. The food itself was fine, but the wait for the food was not okay. This meant that my boyfriend had to buy an extra drink before the food arrived. No apology or any form of compensation for the inconvenience. The result was that we dropped the idea of ​​ordering dessert.

09/01/2026: I ordered nachos, but they took an unusually long time to be ready. The staff was friendly, but the wait time detracted from the experience. When you order something so simple, you expect it to be served faster. The taste was good, but the long wait unfortunately made the overall impression not very good.

11/03/2026: I'm at Marienlyst Hotel right now. Not a very pleasant welcome. Have to pay for parking. Just want to watch some TV, but it's not working. Was told it would take 10 to 15 minutes. After 40 minutes I called again. There were no technicians, so no one could come. Been here four times. Very mixed experiences.

10/03/2026: My husband and I needed some pampering and relaxation. And we got that in full at Marienlyst Strandhotel. Delicious food in an excitingly decorated restaurant. Lovely warm spa and swimming pools, both outside and inside. Well-decorated stylish foyer with games and a fire in the fireplace as well as a cornucopia of breakfast buffets. Friendly service everywhere.

13/02/2026: I have always thought it was a nice place, but this time I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. In my Adana kebab I found a plastic plug inside the meat itself. Luckily I discovered it in time and managed to take it out of my mouth. I was honestly shocked that I could have swallowed it. The young employee/co-owner was accommodating and offered me an extra dish as compensation, which I declined due to the experience. At the checkout I was subsequently met by an older employee who I found rude. Even though I did not pay for the food, he insisted that I pay 39 kr. for my drink. I think this is very poor service. My dining experience was ruined, I found a plastic plug in the food, which I almost swallowed and on top of that I had to pay for my soda. Unfortunately, this makes me not want to eat here again.

16/12/2025: Lovely restaurant. Great location with a view of the Øresund. Neat, bright rooms and very nice waiters. The food was top notch. We enjoyed it very much and are already looking forward to the next time.

17/09/2025: I don't understand that I have to share food with others - when we have ordered, for example, three pieces of open sandwiches with eggs and shrimp, it comes in a bowl instead of each separately - it's a shame - it was the same with chicken salad. Small slices of rye bread - 100 kroner per piece. It could be done better. I have to ask for my own plate with what I have ordered
