19/08/2025: A great place to dine on some great pizzas in Copenhagen. A relaxed atmosphere, good food, and a good price for such an expensive city. €85 (approximately 600K) for a cod starter, three pizzas, homemade tiramisu for dessert, water, and Coca-Cola. 100% recommended. The pizzas are very, very good. The staff is super nice and attentive.

06/08/2025: Small Italian restaurant with excellent pizza at reasonable prices and even an IPA on tap. 🥰 Super friendly service, great atmosphere, and a beautiful location!

30/07/2025: What is the real specialty of Denmark 🇩🇰? Smørrebrød, of course! (and cookies 🍪). In Denmark they have these special breads, often dark, super thick, and really tasty. It's bread but it's as similar to Southern European 🇪🇺 bread as naan 🇮🇳 is similar to burger buns 🇺🇲. I guess each region adapts to the type of cereals they can grow... 🤷 I really like this kind of bread 🥖. And I like eating local when I travel ✈️. So when we went to Tivoli Food Hall with our friends so everyone could decide what they wanted to eat, while our son went for sushi 🍣, my wife and I went to the only smørrebrød stall: Hallernes Smørrebrød. 😋 They had lots of smørrebrøds and they were all beautifully displayed making the choice so hard... 🥹 until my wife showed me the cook cutting a huge piece of pork to make some kind of burger 🍔 called flæskestegssandwich... Apparently, that's a Danish traditional dish too! 🤩 It was clear to us that we wanted that instead of the smørrebrøds. Especially because on all the smørrebrøds, there was butter 🧈... At the time I remember I thought "why on Earth do they put that on ALL the breads?!" (note that I dislike butter) Well, turns out that "smørrebrød" means "buttered bread"... 😅 OK, I feel dumb. 🫢 But now I understand, at least, and I know more. It's always good to learn, at least. Moving back to that burger. It was definitely the best thing I ate in Copenhagen, in that trip in fact, and the best sandwich 🥪 I've had in a very long time. It was tasty, fatty but not too much, juicy, smooth and super well balanced with the right amount of meat, bread and other ingredients. Now, it was very, very small for something we paid DKK155 (€15+). That's absurdly expensive... 😠 yet, I don't regret paying that because I enjoyed it so much! 😍 Btw, we also ordered a couple of smørrebrøds on breads... without butter cause I'm stubborn. They were good, but very small too and very expensive too. So if you ever visit CPH, I highly suggest you go and try that "burger" but skip the rest.... if you can resist FOMO. 😅 . . . 21/07/2025: A very nice and traditional shop inside the Tivoli market, it is definitely very nice to go and try the local delicacies. We chose two pieces, one with chicken and the other with pork. The one with chicken was very nice and the sauce underneath was very tasty. I didn't go so crazy about the pork. The staff was quite helpful and polite and the atmosphere there to sit and eat inside the market is very beautiful because people pass by and in general you feel a very nice vibe. It is something worth trying and I would definitely recommend taking a walk there ❤️🙏🏻

09/07/2025: Chose one of their sandwiches, with chicken and curry. The bread was surprisingly delicious and the overall impression was above average. The purchased elderflower water was poured into glasses and nicely garnished. Unfortunately, there was probably only half a bottle for each. We were promised table service, but it was quickly forgotten and we had to get the food ourselves. But all in all a good experience

06/09/2025: The coffee is not strong, it's all milk. Maybe because we are used to Brazilian or Ethiopian coffee, whose quality is generally very average. Their baked goods are good.

21/05/2025: Both food and coffee were very good. I am Italian and loved the cafe's take on the "Italian toast". Absolutely delicious. Their apple pie was also super nice. It's a great place to stop for refreshments and chill a bit before or after the Kronborg castle visit. Still, we visited on a Monday's afternoon, and could see the place was filled with locals rather than tourists: further proof of authenticity. Good prices too (considering local standards) and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you are in Helsingor.

01/08/2025: Then I finally went and tried a gyro. It was really good. Honestly, better and much more flavorful than the ones I had in Greece. Great service too. I will definitely be back.

29/07/2025: Lovely spot. The lamb was delicious and the flavors were amazing. Maybe the potatoes were tastier than I expected and for someone who doesn't like vinegar, maybe skip them. Everything else was really nice 🙂👍

04/09/2025: The pan pizza was amazing. After my bike ride, I was in heaven. The restaurant is also nice and warm.

30/08/2025: Their Pizza Restaurant has the most enthusiastic waiter ever. A super cheerful young guy, a true talent in the hospitality industry. The food is excellent, and you can also sit inside. My girlfriend had the Kebab Mix (great dish, she couldn't finish it all) and I had two fish fillets with fries, which were also delicious. Enjoy a beer and enjoy. It's a lovely restaurant. We noticed that there's a lot of takeout, which is possible, but sitting down to eat is much more fun. So sit down and let the young waiter's enthusiasm give you a great experience. For later: enjoy your meal.

28/07/2025: -5 stars. Strange business. Working hours are "we are open when we want", thought you can easily place order online and pay, and then you just wait - no order confirmation, no food. Then you wait again two days to get paid back.
