If you are looking for a reliable, warm, and inviting spot to grab a coffee in Copenhagen, Espresso House is always a fantastic choice! The atmosphere inside is top-tier—super cozy, stylishly designed Nordic interior, and plenty of comfy seating. Whether you want to catch up on some work, relax with a book, or enjoy a quick fika moment with friends, it’s the perfect place to recharge. Their coffee selection is excellent. I had an iced latte made with oat milk, and it was rich, smooth, and made to perfection. They also have a great variety of delicious snacks, fresh sandwiches, and vegan pastries—the cinnamon buns and avocado rye sandwiches are definitely a must-try! The baristas were warm, friendly, and efficient, even during busy morning hours. Plus, with convenient locations all across the city, you’re never too far from a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re exploring Copenhagen! ☕️🥐🇩🇰

10/08/2026: Very strange and uncomfortable experience. I wanted to use the toilet before buying my coffee, but the staff member followed me and told me I had to pay for the coffee first. I understand having rules, but the way I was treated felt rude and unnecessary. Definitely not a welcoming experience.

11/08/2026: There are many other pizza places in this town, but we always return to this one. The food and service is simply at another level compared to the others.

05/07/2026: I ordered online, requested time 6:30 PM. The time was changed to 6:55 PM, which is annoying in itself; but fair enough. I didn't get my food until 7:20 PM. It's a very long time to wait for food that was ordered in advance. When we got home with the food, there was an elastic band on one of the pizzas. Not really appetizing

07/05/2026: Great breakfast with fresh coffee and delicious croissants. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very friendly. A perfect place to start the day in Denmark!

02/06/2026: Fresh food. Owner was really nice. Went above and well beyond in the service and served us hot and fresh food right in front of us. Definitely recommended and serve halal food.

25/04/2026: We went to the famous Reffen - Copenhagen Street Food district to taste Danish street food. However, when we saw that a small hamburger was offered for the price of a family-sized pizza, we came to this place. We didn't think that the ingredients would be so plentiful and delicious, and the portions would be so large. Moreover, the prices are much more affordable than other places. If you are sensitive to halal meat, this is a boutique fast food shop where you can order with peace of mind.

01/08/2026: I ordered a Margherita pizza with champignon, with dressing and garlic. It was very delicious. The other pizza with some meat was meh. I placed the order on justeat and their prices on the app are almost double as compared to their restaurant prices.

01/08/2026: Super good value, he has lunch pizzas for only 55kr and they're really good. Friendly owner and a chill interior. Just overall a good place.

02/09/2026: Solid and easily hidden place in almost every way. The worst: the noise and the very high heat, even on a normal day! So, big minus here. Small minus for not having Faxe Kondi, but otherwise they passed the ice test, by not giving ice cubes. Also a small minus for not showing the right type of elephant in the aesthetics of the interior: they show an African elephant with big ears, even though it should be Asian elephants with smaller ears, because it's less hot in Asia 🤓. The shop has been here 27 years and seems well run. There is sushi, tasty typical Chinese style dishes, two types of soups and Mongolian barbecue (have the food fried personally), at very reasonable prices. In addition, there are both desserts with e.g. chocolate + banana and cakes, as well as good other facilities in terms of the bathrooms. The staff is mixed Danish and Chinese, and really nice; for example, they did not charge extra for a spilled sprite.

13/08/2026: This is the first review I've written, but I can't help it, because I just ate the absolute best panino I've ever tasted, panino speciality, perfectly balanced with chili and garlic... it's a must try and doesn't get any better. I can only say thank you for a super good experience, unfortunately other places will pale in comparison.

10/07/2026: I stayed at Hotel Svanen with my man for 4 nights on July (6.7.-10.7.). The room we had was room 22 and it was supplied with all the needed items (a hairdryer, two trash cans, a TV, a comfy sofa etc). The breakfast buffet was good as well, I particularly liked that we were able to make our own mini waffles with a waffle iron. However our hotel rooms shower/bathroom was a big disappointment. The bathroom had a moldy wet smell and we spotted 4 fly-like insects, possibly drain flies? Some items in the bathroom had something that might have been mold (picture 2: lock on the door, and picture 3: instruction paper). We made sure to keep the door closed as much as possible because of the smell and the flies. This was an inconvenience and it was not a pleasant place to take showers. The location of the hotel was perfect and the hotel staff was very friendly to us. We did make a reservation online to the hotels own restaurant (Restaurant No 8) a day before our reservation. The restaurant was offering adults and childrens buffets and a la carte menu. Upon arrival to the restaurant we saw a sign informing us that buffet for adults was not available that day because of some kind of a private event. It would have been nice to know this before arriving to the restaurant because we had been planning to eat the buffet food. We ended up canceling the dinner reservation and went elsewhere.

04/07/2026: A nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. This is a good place to stay when visiting Billund for Lego as it is a short walk from both the Lego house and Legoland.

08/08/2026: Highly recommended. Extremely friendly service, especially towards children. The portions were very generous, and the fries were the best we've ever had. The pizza was fresh and crispy.

15/06/2026: Do not eat here if u don’t want to be disappointed!!! The food was actually quite good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant breakfast. When we were asked what we would like to drink, we simply requested water. At no point were we informed that this water would cost an additional 70 DKK (10€) for two people. Only after paying did we notice the charge on the receipt. What made the situation worse was the attitude when we asked about it. Instead of a professional and understanding explanation, we were met with a sarcastic tone that made us feel unwelcome and as if our question was unreasonable. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for asking about charges on their bill. The water itself was also disappointing. We were told it was good-quality water, yet the taste was unpleasant enough that we barely drank it. Paying extra for something we hardly touched and were never properly informed about felt frustrating and misleading. Transparency matters. If water is not complimentary, customers should be clearly informed before ordering. A simple warning would have prevented this entire negative experience. Good food alone is not enough to make up for poor communication, unexpected charges, and an unfriendly attitude. Sadly, despite enjoying the breakfast, we left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied. I would not return, and I would advise future customers to carefully check the menu and ask about every extra charge before ordering.

16/07/2026: We have eaten buffet here several times, and have been very satisfied. Large selection and tasted good. This time unfortunately a couple of dishes were missing so I couldn't find anything to eat. Great with gloves and alcohol at the buffet. Soda from dispenser, good with carbonation. Unfortunately a bit slow to refill when something was empty, and no one ever cleared the table during the meal or asked if we wanted more drinks.
