14/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, magnificent service, friendly service, and reasonable prices in an elegant, quiet setting. We escaped the super-touristy restaurants in Billund and found this gem. They're very kid-friendly. Worth the fifteen-minute drive!

30/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all. We bought fish cakes there. When I asked if the fish cakes were fresh, they denied it. The seller couldn't even tell me when the fish cakes were made. One of the cakes was still frozen inside and tasted very bland. I wouldn't recommend it.

23/07/2026: Ordered a cheeseburger deluxe with bacon. Very small piece of bacon and the rest was mashed up, so the burger was just as flat as the hamburger that was also ordered.

01/07/2026: Very nice stay in a convenient location. Small but nice rooms, a bit dated but also a cozy style and clean. We were there during a heat wave, but had some windows open and it was all good. No AC, but in the end didn’t need it.

21/07/2026: This is the place you come to if you are HUNGRY. Nothing is spared.
04/07/2026: We got a burger, the steak was made of fresh beef, cooked perfectly, slightly pink and juicy like a newly hatched stud. The salmon salad was a size that could feed a small family, absolutely nothing wrong with it, quick cooking, and on top of that, we picked up several sausage mixes, I think they're good too.

30/08/2026: We were a bit disappointed with the coffee and the owner's mentality. The sandwich was good, but a bit pricey.
06/07/2026: Eye wateringly expensive, even for Copenhagen. 170kr for a very sparsely filled halloumi sandwich and a small glass of orange juice. Quirky decor and character does not have make up for poor value food, in my opinion.

The employees always welcome the customers.
They know their local "regular customers" and know exactly what they want and how to interact with them.
As a guest (and not a "regular customer") you are greeted with a smile and super good service. They make recommendations if you are in doubt.
Nice relaxing atmosphere and cozy little oasis.
Reasonable prices.
14/07/2026: I've had Søborg Kaffehus on my top 5 cafe list for a few years now. As the comparison base gets bigger, it's impressive that they keep you at the top 😀
Great coffee, great service, and a nice croissant... What more could you ask for?
