As written, 3 stars because of the food which was OK, but stop how dull the service is that repeatedly "had to remind you of what you had ordered". 24/11/2025: Vandkunsten Sandwich has become one of my regular places when I'm in the area. The sandwiches taste good, the ingredients are fresh, and you get a decent sized sandwich. Unlike Joe & The Juice, you actually leave feeling full — here you get value for your money. The bread is usually really good, and the portions are perfect for a good lunch. The staff is friendly and works quickly, even when it's busy. I've experienced a few times that there can be a bit of a wait, but the quality is consistent, and that's why I keep coming back. All in all, a really good place if you want a good, solid sandwich without all the excess — just honest food that actually fills you up.

17/01/2026: The perfect location in the city, but the room is not cozy, there is a bit of a train station over the experience. Super good fastelavnsbolle, but probably the worst Cappuccino I have had in Aalborg. Probably won't come back for coffee.

15/01/2026: The sweetest clerks and the best rolls, but it's a cold place to sit. It would help to put up a screen, or make a wall between the door and the seating. You can't be supposed to sit and freeze while eating.

01/11/2025: Really good food. We had chicken schnitzel, club sandwich, spaghetti carbonara and pepper steak, and it all tasted fantastic. We will definitely be back. Good prices, you get an incredible amount for your money.

22/02/2026: Really nicely located restaurant. Large, nice room with white tablecloths and good furniture. The service is really good. The friendliest employees. The buffet is also good and with a nice variety. We enjoyed it all. The only small minus is the coffee. Not so good. But everything else makes up for it. Nice parking. We would love to come back.
