31/10/2025: Nice food and good atmosphere Can recommend booking a table

17/10/2025: We only ordered two drinks because of happy hour and a bruschetta. The bruschetta was really good, the chef did a great job, but the people who served us the food and took the order lacked interest in their work, which made the service less than good. Otherwise, they had decorated nicely for Halloween, which made it have a very nice atmosphere! Unfortunately it was noisy, but that's not their fault.

15/12/2025: On December 14th, we ordered food: two burgers and two orders of fries. The order arrived cold after an hour and a half. The wait time for the order was 35 to 40 minutes. I will not order again. I do not recommend it.

11/10/2025: It takes 40 minutes to get the food and it tastes crap.

21/12/2025: Have eaten there since 1999 until yesterday, I can see they have screwed up the quality to the bottom and the price has been screwed up to the max, you don't get what you pay for, no taste like before, +bad service

03/10/2025: I have been putting up with these guys for more than 2 years simply because I love kebab and they have the best kebab in Ringsted by a country mile but that does not mean they have to be so hopeless when it comes to customer service. These guys do not know what a smile is and cannot ever provide you a couple of tissues to clean your hands after eating. If they are feeling generous they will provide you with 1 tissue which you can clearly see they would rather not if they could avoid even that much. Its really a shame because the food is generally great but seriously I cannot stand such misers who charge a more than fair price but still refuse to even provide you with a tissue paper. Today I ordered two shawarma ret for 260 kr and explicitly wrote to them that please have some manners and provide a chili for free but the guy was really almost having a heart attack for giving a complimentary chilli. Enough is enough. They will never ever have a penny from me and I would rather visit the gentleman right across the street who has always been a thorough gentleman though admittedly his kebab is not as good.

09/09/2025: Directly cold and inedible food! But unfortunately they are protected by Wolt - there was no help to be had. Can't recommend it in any way.

10/08/2025: I think the special pita I got with beef fillet, chicken, french fries and salad was super good. Highly recommend The Pita House

27/06/2025: The place is now called Stropei. We were a group having dinner. We had the square pizzas and tiramisu (which was huge). The food was really good, the decor spartan.

11/11/2025: Perhaps the best pizza in Silkeborg. Homemade kebab. Funny and tasty. The owner has many years of experience in the profession. The only downside is that there is no indoor grilling area. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: I was at a birthday at Café Otte & Tyve, and I was actually quite surprised by the quality of the buffet. It was a catered setup with a really nice selection – there was salad, salmon, Caesar salad, cheeses, cornichons, waffles, nuggets, potatoes, sausages, samosas, and all kinds of dipping sauces. Basically a proper breakfast-slash-brunch buffet, and I really liked it. Everything was fresh and tasty. What surprised me even more was the place itself. I’m from Sønderjylland, and down there sports clubs don’t look like this. This café is right next to football fields, so it’s technically part of a sports club, but the quality level – both of the food and the place itself – is so much higher than what I’m used to. It was a bit of a culture shock, to be honest. The service was great too. The staff were attentive and friendly, and everything ran smoothly. All in all, this was just a really good experience. The food was great, the setting was surprisingly nice for a clubhouse café, and the overall vibe was just good. Nothing to complain about.

10/09/2025: Quite happy with this place, but out of respect for actual restaurants I cant give them a 5. It's a kiosk/cafeteria with a couple of dishes they do that rotates pr weekday (check website for weekly menu), and also weekend brunch buffets and events. It's attached to the local football fields and feels very much like a sportsclub amenity. Its pretty good for what it is and we enjoy coming here for a quick, not too expensive meal.

08/09/2025: Lovely bakery with a nice shop. Beautifully decorated with an open bakery so you can follow the baker's work. There was also a small café and the bakery has a drive-in for those busy days. Was only there for 2-3 minutes, but I had a good experience and was served well and the pastries were tip top 👍

15/07/2025: That's the place, love it. If it's a versatile DJ or just some Jazz music they play, they definitely attract an interesting crew, especially in winter times when tourists are gone. My absolute go-to bar.
