15/04/2026: Real nice place, a lotta of meat and also nice sallad. I Hope you will open in Sweden, Örebro will be a great place.

04/04/2026: Looooong queue at the buffet. Empty dishes and no lamb as advertised here at Easter. Overall just a worse experience than previous visits. The hostess was nice, nothing to complain about there

15/10/2025: It's been a long time since I've been to Hviids, last time I was there it was Eddi who owned the place. Now his son has taken over and it's absolutely as good as last time. The flambéed steaks are always recommended 👌

02/04/2026: Traditional and cozy place with the best steaks, which are taken very seriously. Another one of the best steaks ever. Great service and good atmosphere. Many guests, so reservations are recommended. The side dishes are good, the fries maybe a little too salty. Not immediately the first choice for vegetarians.

01/04/2026: If you are looking for an authentic and cozy inn experience, then Louises Kro is a very special place ❤️ Here it is not just the food and the surroundings that impress – it is also the host couple. Having inn owners in the house is a huge part of the experience, and you can clearly feel how much they are passionate about the place and their guests. It gives a warm and personal atmosphere that you rarely find. The inn is decorated simply and invitingly without being overly decorated – exactly as a real inn should be. It feels genuine, relaxed and incredibly cozy. Don't be surprised that no sauce is served with the food – here the focus is on the ingredients and the taste itself. The steak in particular is an experience where you really get to enjoy the pure, intense taste. Yes, the price is on the higher end, but it is undoubtedly worth every penny 🙌 You have to book a table to get a seat.

30/12/2025: The female server with braided hair treated me with clear racial bias. She ignored my polite greeting, rushed me to order, and responded to a simple request to view the wine menu again with a rude 'WHAT? What made this unacceptable was seeing her moments later smiling warmly and engaging politely with the neighboring table. The contrast was unmistakable. This is not a matter of bad service, but unequal treatment based on skin color. In contrast, the staff member with large hoop earrings and the gentleman at the counter were genuinely kind and professional. The lady clearly needs proper training. Her behavior was two-faced and deeply unprofessional.

24/12/2025: A very atmospheric place with friendly staff. There are tables both outside and inside. The interior is very stylish, perfect for working. I had a flat white and a cookie. The coffee is excellent, and they offer alternative milk options.

07/10/2025: 🍦🌊 A nice little ice cream parlor 🌊🍦 Well, FOR THE SOUTH! If you're looking for an ice cream that can knock you out like Mike Tyson in '86, then Guf & Kugler in Nibe is the place. The balls are so big that you need a knife, fork and a helmet to get through them. I have a black belt in ice cream eating, and even I had to capitulate halfway through. Normal people would have run away screaming with brain freeze and cold shock after just one ball. But the taste? It's right in the cupboard! It's like being kissed on the tongue by an Italian gelato master while he sings opera and sprinkles chocolate in slow motion. The hot dog? It was so good that for a moment I thought I was in a Michelin restaurant – just without all that crap with foam and microscopic plates. The atmosphere at the harbour is classic ice cream parlor culture: children with soft ice cream all over their faces, parents desperately searching for napkins, and of course the 72-year-old pensioner who believes it is her duty to teach the young employees how to serve a scoop of ice cream in 1953. “THAT TIME they gave the scoops with a spoon, young lady, and you stood straight when you handed it over!!” Damn it… I’m getting so tired of standing in line and listening to that. Give the young ones a break – they’re juggling balls the size of bowling balls while being shouted at by Bente from Hasseris. And yes, the staff can seem a bit reserved at times. But honestly – who wouldn’t be when you’re standing in a heatwave and serving 500-gram strawberry scoops to never-ending queues? I had a poker face myself after the first hour. All in all, Guf & Kugler in Nibe delivers giant balls, a treat for the soul and hotdogs that save the day. It's a place that makes you smile and shake your head – but always leaves happy. Rating: 4 out of 5 balls that should have their own postcode. I lost the last ball in the Limfjord because I was busy balancing a 3-ball soft ice cream monster with guf and jam.

21/09/2025: Arrived to a very long queue, which meant it was supposed to be the best ice cream of the summer, but we were disappointed. OK ice cream, but expensive and very small portion of deliciousness for 7 kr. Not worth the money at all. We have been there for the first and last time.

04/01/2026: What am I doing here, why do we come here again and again? It's a 2 hour drive, it'll be the last time! THEN THE FIRST BITE COMES INTO THE MOUTH. Damn, now I know why we come here and it's so very specific, too few times. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, the atmosphere sublime.
