23/09/2025: Having lived abroad for over three decades this place reminds me of an American diner. Basic goodness and milieu and food served with pride: I had the fish and I can’t wait to return. A limited menu - and do make reservations bc the chef honors the reservations in and that those customers are guaranteed a full choice from the menu. The place gives you the feeling of a home cooked dinner. I enjoyed the wines as well.

04/09/2025: It's not so often we get such friendly and warm staff at a restaurant. Menu is short, which is the best sign of freshness according to me. Veggie burger is astonishing with fresh vegetables and the best veggie patty I've tasted to far. I would come back regularly if I lived here :-)

27/09/2025: My . 2nd visit to Kokkenberg - my husband's 1st. There is ONLY good to say about this lovely restaurant. You feel welcome from the 1st second. The atmosphere is professional and at the same time filled with good humor and the food is really really delicious - we would love to come back and can only recommend this lovely place ♥

23/08/2025: Stedet følger de italienske madtraditioner, men helt opdateret til det nye nordiske køkken med brug af lokale råvarer. Vi startede med en antipasto tallerken bestående af 3 lækre småretter: Vitello tonnato, laks og kyllingelevermousse. Utrolig lækker, veltillavet og præsenteret. Vi sprang til secondo og tog henholdsvis en okse og en torsk. Pæne store portioner og igen meget veltillavet. Halvvejs byttede min kone og jeg tallerkener og fik således den totale oplevelse. Dagens dessert var en trifli lavet på friske lokale blåbær. Det er ikke sidste gang vi kommer her.

12/09/2025: We came on Sunday where there was plenty of space. The waiter with the fresh Copenhagen cowboy look agreed to turn down the background music so we could have madro. For starters I had "pulpo with nectarine harissa & grilled "kimchi"". An exciting combination, where the kimchi had a nice sour contrast to the discreet harissa. On the other hand, the thin slices of pulpo didn't taste of anything - could vinegar and maybe a little spice have made the difference? - My main course, "Monkfish with pumpkin, pickled mushrooms, cabbage & velouté of fried chicken with butter" was delicate throughout, and the sauce, with palm cabbage and Hokkaido, was absolutely fantastic with an aftertaste I can almost still feel. - As you can understand from the descriptions on the menu, a lot has been experimented with and made of the food. So you can hardly complain that the prices are then - here is the opportunity for the gastronomic experience.
