12/08/2026: A restaurant where we enjoyed spending time during our vacation. We really enjoyed the food and drinks and felt very comfortable there. We've tried many dishes there and have always been satisfied. It's truly a place we'll return to again and again. We're already looking forward to autumn.

11/08/2026: The restaurant is well-run. The food is really very well prepared. The wine selection isn't bad. That was really good. However, and this is why I'm deducting a point, I think a restaurant with such ambitions absolutely must pay attention to its restrooms. Even if none of the staff seem particularly keen on it. Hygiene and toilet paper are essential!

16/08/2026: We were just walking around Aarhus when we randomly came across Safran — and we definitely didn’t regret stopping by! The food was great, and the service was second to none. A really nice surprise, and we will definitely be back.

02/09/2026: A cozy and excellent place to eat. The most expensive dish costs (Sep. 2026) DKK 125,-! We had a pork roast sandwich (DKK 95,-) and a plate of fries with dip (DKK 50). I will definitely come back!

15/07/2026: A really good little pizza restaurant at reasonable prices. The pizzas are also a nice size, a children's pizza looks like a regular adult pizza.

14/09/2026: Fantastic burger and overly salty fries which I was not able to eat more than a few.

13/09/2026: This burger is truly the result of a lot of effort and thought put into the recipe. The patty is excellent. However, they could have been less dry. The portion size could also have been a bit larger. It disappears inside the bun after three bites. The fact that they charge extra for ketchup when the prices are so high is frankly off-putting. But the burger itself is successful.

09/07/2026: Fantastic gluten free pizzas! Yum! My boyfriend got regular pizzas and I got gluten free. He tasted mine and said it was really good and that it tasted different but just as good as his. I really liked the flavors, the.taste and the texture. Will definitely come back. 🙌

07/07/2026: I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the pizzas were amazing! I love the concept of having three small pizzas to choose from, instead of one giving you an option to experience a variety. High quality and delicious food. I highly recommend. ❤️

30/08/2026: There aren't many bakeries on the island. This one is a real highlight: a very good selection of bread and rolls, all delicious and crispy. The staff are very friendly and helpful; my clumsy attempts to order in Danish were easily forgiven with friendly replies in German. I really like this bakery; it enhances our holiday experience!

15/08/2026: Asador is the place my boyfriend and I go when we want a delicious steak and great food. The service is impeccable and everything tastes so amazing. We have been to Asador 3 times so far over the past 1 1/2 years and we are already looking forward to the next time. Thanks for another wonderful dinner - now we have to eat after all the good food🤩

18/09/2026: I had a panko chicken skewer, fried rice with marinated pork and a Vietnamese beer. Some of the best food and beer I've had in a long time, thank you! The fried rice dish must be the best in town and is noted for its perfect searing. Panko chicken skewers perfectly cooked.

21/08/2026: There's nothing I've tasted on their menu that was bad. And their Bahn mi is probably the best deal I've seen in Copenhagen in a long time, you get the equivalent of 2 sandwiches elsewhere for 80 kr, insane value.

07/09/2026: A few weeks ago, I went there for lunch, and I was lucky enough to be looked after by a fantastic woman named Marta Alcántara. I noticed that she was managing both the restaurant and the bar at the same time, and despite being so busy, her service was excellent. She was friendly, attentive, and very professional. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

29/08/2026: We visited Issei last night and had the set menu with the accompanying wine pairing. The highlight of the evening was definitely the tiradito, which was alright. Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing. The striploin was significantly overcooked and, in most parts, well-done. More concerning was the handling of my dietary restriction. I specifically informed our waiter that I have an intolerance and asked whether any of the dishes contained cucumber. I was assured that they did not. However, the side served with the main course contained a significant amount of cucumber. While our waiter was friendly and very apologetic when we pointed this out, this kind of mistake could have had much more serious consequences for someone with a severe allergy. Based on our experience, I would be very cautious about dining here if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. The wine pairing also felt somewhat underwhelming and oddly balanced. Two of the three glasses served were Prosecco and Moscato, which didn’t feel like a particularly well-rounded pairing for the menu. Overall, it the best experience food and service wise, and the issues with the main course and especially the handling of dietary restrictions significantly affected our experience.
